New formula far inferior to old and i am sad
In search of my holy grail creamy moisturizing oil, i noticed the package looked a bit different (the new is pink label but brown cap). I got home, and neither the scent, thickness or effectiveness of the product i have loved for ages were there. Upon search on the web, i see that while the package was redesigned (claim to be more sustainable...which i applaud), there appears no mention by Aveeno that the formulation changed. It is now simply overpriced, ineffective goo. I have hunted for the old bottles, but alas none to be found...even got duped online by use of old photo, but received new formula. So terribly disappointed and sad...all best products get discontinued for subpar ones...why change what was working for you?

They changed the formula of this. The new (brown lid) formula smells like raw coconut cream from the can. It does not have the beautifully delicate almond sugar cookie smell that the (pink lid) kind had.
It also does not absorb the same. The original would quickly dry down, soak in and moisturize and soften beautifully. I could put my clothes on very quickly after applying without getting that awful sticky feeling when your lotion hasn't fully absorbed. The new formulation almost feels like it sits on top and doesn't fully sink in. Would not recommend at all

This product is garbage. Why lie to people that the only change was the packaging? The formula is night and day different from pink cap to brown. The scent being the first change. From a beautiful light almond cookie smell. To a slightly rancid old coconut small. Seriously its bad. Even if you like coconut this is not something you will enjoy. The formula itself is thicker and does not absorb. The beauty of the pink cap was that it was super easy to spead onto your skin and it sunk in within a matter of a few seconds. And when it does absorb, my skin feels dry again within a few hours. The old formula left my skin silky smooth, all day long. Bring back the PINK cap because this new stuff is just junk.

Old formula was heaven new one stinks.
I loved the aveeno creamy oil with its faint almond scent but the new formula in the new bottle stinks of coconut. Still feels great on the skin but as I hate coconut this product has been ruined for me.

New formula is terrible
Sadly the formula changed with the bottle packaging. I used it for years and it was the best thing ever but no longer. I tried the new formula a few times hoping it was just an "off" batch but it wasn't. Our local stores don't even bring it in anymore as it won't sell.

It feels amazing!
The Aveeno Moisturizing oil is the best product I have found so far to deal with the onslaught of dry winter skin for the entire body. It's easy to apply after bath or shower and I have noticed one other benefit. After applying it, and then getting dressed for work I have noticed a decrease in static cling especially with pant legs etc. I love it. This winter however, I've been having problems finding it. I guess it's just that good!

Original formula far inferior
As a long time loyal aveeno user this product is far inferior to the original formula. I would love to see the original formula brought back!! I am now on the hunt for the holy grail.
