Best waterproof eyeliner on the market
I hadn't purchased Maybelline's product for approximately 10 years. Back in the 90's I used Maybelline's liquid waterproof eyeliner. LOVED it, sadly it was taken off the shelf that's when I started buying cosmetic's from a competitor. Their makeup is so expensive but at the time I felt that meant a better product. Boy was I wrong, I've been trying to find a waterproof eyeliner but haven't found one. I had all but given up, that changed this weekend. I popped into my local drug store and found Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel eyeliner. OMG!!! it was as if all of my prays had been answered. I'm once again a Maybelline client, I should never have left. Thank you Maybelline

Bring back the old brush
I’ve used this product for a decade, but the change in brush has been a huge negative. It’s harder to apply the gel with the bent brush and with a proper cap to the brush it hardens and also application harder. My brush also has cracked at the bend due to need for more frequent cleaning. I find I can no longer apply gel liner accurately and precisely with the new brush. Please bring back the old brush. I otherwise love this product and how long lasting and non-smudging it is, it is literally the only makeup I wear everyday.

Only liner that stays black all day!
I've been using this liner for well over 5 years now. I don't use the applicator it comes with, rather an angled eyeliner brush because I like a very defined cat eye. To use it, I scoop up a bit of product with my liner brush from the pot and then sort of smoosh/spread it back and forth into the lid. This melts it a little bit so that is goes on nice and smooth! I have never felt the need to try a new eyeliner because this one is perfection!

Worst eyeliner i've ever tried
(I applied the product without primer or eyeshadow). Not only was this difficult to get a sharp line, it was also difficult to keep opaque when applying. I had to re-fill in my liner more than 3x because the product kept rubbing off when i go in for a touch up. After about an hour of wear, i came to the mirror to discover the eyeliner had transfered large black rings around my eyes. I can't even wear this product!!!!

Love it but hate the black
I have used the brown gel liner for years and loved it.
However, the formula did change but I adapted by getting the brush wet.
Went on like a charm! But I can only find blackest black and it's way too dark and looks terrible.
Very disappointed that there's only one color now!!
We need the brown or espresso color back! Lost a loyal customer due to this change.

Terrible Product
First of all, when I opened the small container, it was not a gel, it was more like a wax which made the application very difficult. I have been using a liquid eyeliner for ages and this product is not satisfactory at all. Not sure, maybe I got an old batch, but this first trial was a grand disappointment. I also found it burned a bit, especially when removing.

Amazing
I have tried countless eyeliners and this product is by far the best this product goes on super easy , dosent smuge and stays in place all day long . I had to use my make up remover twice for it to completely come off . The colors are really pigmented as well and its really well priced a great value great for anyone who is new to eyeliner or expirenced

smudges and dries out
At first i enjoyed using this eyeliner because it was easy to use but I to also found that it smudge and caked in corner of eyes....also over time, it dries out which makes it difficult to apply! so overall not an happy camper with this product and would not recommended it to friends
