Not a fan of the Green Beaver lip shimmer. I found it clumpy and did not go on smoothly.It would break off when trying to apply no matter how gently I tried to apply it. I would not purchase again.

The Armour is a bubble gum like pink but not as bright, the Bordeaux is a darker red and the passion is somewhere in between. Mocha is more like a copper color and the rose is a very light pink almost white. I have brown hair and brown eyes and lighter skin with a little bit of olive in it and I like all the colors and you can wear them all if especially if you coordinate them with the color of your outfit and eye make up. You can also mix the colors together. Still has a bit of that trademark lipstick taste regardless of the flavor you buy, but the mint covers it up a little better.

I have tried all the colors. Good color, goes on more opaque like a lipstick but you can build your color darker with multiple layers. Works best on dry clean lips with no gloss on them, color disappears quick if you add it over gloss as opposed to on your bare lips. As with the issues of other reviewers finding this product dry, I find it is because some of the lipsticks were dried out and had a hardened layer of product on top. The Bordeaux and the rose I ordered in the mint were both dried out and would not apply color. I then returned them and got the same 2 colors in the mint free and they had more moisture in them. but there was still a thin layer of dry product I had to peel off. I think I just received old stock of the bordeaux and rose. Over all the best and inexpensive natural and vegan lip color I have tried. No carmine, beeswax or gross mainstream makeup ingredients. I would defintley buy again.

I found it to be very dry. I have to push down hard to apply. Bought 2 shades, hard to see much colour. Was expecting a smooth application and to see some gloss, neither happened unfortunately.

Love this product so much!!! I have problems with a lot of lipsticks caking and drying out my lips. This product does not do this at all. I have all of the shades. Highly recommend!

For an all natural lip shimmer this product is really great. The colour is nice, the moisture level is good and it doesn't dry out at all. My only complaint is that when you first put it own I found it to have a bit of a evergreen type of smell like a tree but that scent did disapear quickly.

wow! best vegan lipstick ever. smooth color that lasts well enough and no icky products. pure and simple, yet so elegant. really moisturizing too. i am very 'canadian pale, eh?' and i bought the bordeaux color which is dark and yet works. it is almost the same as the burts 'fig', if you used to use that. the smell is nothing like cranberry...i'd say its reminiscent of fruity pine trees...its a nice smell tho.

My lips are always dry and chapped, so lipstick or colored lip shimmers never work for me. But the Passion color gives my lips a nice tint of red without drying them out! I love Green Beaver lip products, especially the WInter Lip Balm! This lip shimmer is definitely worth a try and will repurchase again ! :)

Another fan here. I wasn't so keen on my first purchase of Rose. It was a bit too pale/frosty for me--but that was because I chose poorly. (I'm always attracted to pale, pearly colours, but look better with a deeper pink.) Like someone else mentioned, there was a certain grittiness to it--minor though, and I only notice it while applying--once it's on, it feels fine.
I decided to give it another try because I loved their winter lip balm so much, but sometimes I'd like to add a bit of colour. So I tried Amour and it's the perfect shade for a natural look on me.

I have to agree with all the posts on here, I LOVE my bordeaux lip shimmer! I've ordered Amour, can't wait for it to arrive. I have a feeling I'm going to end up ordering passion and mocha as well... why not? As others have said, it lasts forever, has lots of colour but still looks natural, has a lovely smooth non-sticky consistency, smells really nice and doesn't highlight your dry cracks and peeling lip skin. If anything, it moisturizes and helps get rid of my dry lip problems. I've thrown out all my other lipsticks, they just don't measure up anymore - not even my expensive MAC ones. Wish they came in a slightly sexier package, but hey, as long as my lips are looking hot I guess that's what matters most.

Bought the Bordeaux colour - stays on your lips without drying or fading quickly and does not emphasize lip lines. Will buy it again.

I really like it! Ordered the shade "Passion" - really lovely colour. I love the perfect amount of colour it offers, the fact it's vegan, and made in Canada.
Only cons... the smell wasn't the most pleasant and I found it a little bit gritty going on, but perhaps that was only my stick (didn't go on very smoothly).
Kiss My Face Sheer Organic Shimmer in "garnet" is still my favourite - because I love the minty feeling it has going on. But this is definitely another nice option.

This is a great lip shimmer! I bought Amour and it adds a little something extra to your lips without being too flashy. It also moisturizes and is natural. Love it.

Very nice lip tint. Great lip care with plenty of colour that actually shows. I find most tinted lip balms look great in the tube but you can't see much colour when you wear it. This one has just the right amount to give your lips a nice colour boost and still look natural.

I have the Amour and it's a nice pale pink colour.
It's very moisturizing and lasts for hours without touchups.

I purchased Bordeaux and Passion and love both colours. It goes on very smoothly, is very moisturizing and doesn't feel greasy on the lips. It has a great scent and I love that it's a Canadian product.
