I purchased another trial size version of this deodorant because the one I purchased a year ago started to develop a build-up of salt at the base of the deodorant (they last a very long time!). I love this product for everyday use right out of the shower but if I know that I am going for a run or working out then I will supplement with conventional deodorant.

this was the first time I tried a crystal and I love it. I find it works well for me and no more stains on white shirts. I have tried it prior to a run and yoga and found I was not stinky at all.

This product works great for me! i reapply before a heavy workout though.
My advice- wet then put on for about 40 seconds per armpit, it may sound like a long time but it works better!

i never had a deodorant that does actually prevent me from sweating without smelling excessively. This is a great natural product and i saw results in 3 days.
I am giving it 4 stars only because it is unscented and the smell sometimes transfers to the crystal which has to be washed. a bit long process but its definitely worth it if you're desperate!

Finally, no more staining and deodorant build up on my shirts. I feel like my skin can now breath normally. This is a great deodorant. It's not an antiperspirant, but it does the job of cutting out the smell. I've been wanting to try it for years and am so glad I finally did. The crystal hardly seems to get used up, so I imagine I won't need to buy a new one for quite some time. Very nice to have a combination of healthy and economical in one product.

Spread it liberally, and it works extremely well. It is scentless, and will not leave those yellow stains on your shirts. I'm never going back to those sticks!

Unbelievable! I've used many "natural" deodorants and was never happy with the funky smell I still got through the day. I purchased this based on the great reviews and it truly does work. You must apply it wet (out of the shower is best) and remember, you need several quick strokes under each arm (15-20). I recommend it!

When I got this, I didn't even know what it was so, i decided to research about it. Its truly great. I had seasonal allergies that caused some amount of odor and my skin got irritated by almost all kinds of deodorant.
With this, all that odor was eliminated and I don't get any irritations! Its cheap, portable and effective!

I got this for my 4-year old son, who's a bit stinky sometimes (he plays HARD!) but I think is too young for actual deodorant. It works perfectly, it's the right size for his little arms, and he gets a few good tickles and giggles when we put it on.

Fantastic product! =) With all the aluminum-based antiperspirants out there, color dyes, health issue "parfums", etc.... I did some internet research and stumbled upon these kinds of mineral salt-based deodorants. Came onto this site and read the reviews from the people have have tried this product and decided to take a chance and get the Crystal. :) I must say, very pleasantly surprised... IT WORKS for me ALL DAY long. I was curious to see how long it would go for.... I went to bed without taking a shower and woke up the next day (I usually sweat at night because I have extra covers on to keep me extra warm).... I could finally smell an odor coming from my underarms. Considering this product worked the whole day long while I was in public and active (even working at my manual labor job throughout the day), I would very much recommend it to others.

I've been using this type of deodorant for about three years. My partner and I both like it a great deal. It's effective (for most of the day--it does lose its mojo by evening time, and you may want to wash up and reapply it later in the day). It doesn't leave residues on your clothes. It's way cheaper than drugs-store products because you only really need one a year (obviously the travel-sized one will go faster). And it doesn't clog your pores with metals!
It's better in every way I can think of.

I purchased this deodorant stick based on everyone else's reviews... I was quite disappointed though. For me it did not work. About half-way through the day, I started to notice the BO smell coming from my underarms. I used it just as the instructions said ... I guess what works for some doesn't always work for others.

I love this product! When I first received it I was disappointed at how small it was but soon became aware that it was more than enough. I have used it everyday for about two weeks now and I don't see the product decreasing. I have worked out with it and have had no problems. My underarms are smooth and feel clean, unlike when using traditional deodorants that left a greasy feel.

Having tried a number of other natural deodorants prior to this one (terrible stinky results), I was sceptical when I bought this product. I am, however, very pleased with the crystal stick! I use it right after I get out of the shower, but I also use it on my "between showers" days - wash under the arm, then wet the stick and apply. It lasts throughout the day and even overnight (I could probably go longer without reapplying, but I would rather not chance it).

This stuff really works!! It prevents bad odor and it's all natural (mineral salt that kills bacteria). This does is not an antiperspirant so it does not stop you from sweating, but rather stops the odor caused from sweat.

Works great!! Remember, it is NOT meant to stop you from sweating. The salt in it prevents bacteria from turning into a stinky mess in your underarms or feet or anywhere else you may need to deodorize. I had to stop using traditional antiperspirants because they just weren't working anymore. They'd cause a nasty build up on my underarms that never washed off, and then the bad odour would just happen anyway. With this stick it keeps bacteria at bay for the day. You just need to make sure you apply it right out of the shower daily before you start sweating to prevent bacteria from forming before application.

This works really very well. I use it on days when an antiperspirant is not desirable, but odor control is; such as when I know I'm going to be playing sports or doing some heavy manual jobs. It allows the sweat to do it's job, while preventing the build up of bacteria on the skin that cause odor. I usually just apply right after my morning shower. On days where I do want an antiperspirant, such as when giving a presentation or in client meetings - then I use another product. Still this really does what it says it will, and I think it actually better to allow your body to sweat when it needs to if you can.

Works great. For those who say it doesn't work, apply it right after you shower. That means wash your areas with soap so they are clean, dry off (or leave skin a bit wet, helps for applying the deodorant), wet the deodorant, and rub it around liberally. I use it under arms and in my crotch area (since I sweat a lot there too). Since I've started using this, I've been completely stench free, no side effects, it's amazing! The friends I've told about love it too.

So far, after two weeks, I am really impressed with this product! I was skeptical at first, but I am amazed that you can have no odour and be sweating! Yes, you may have sweat marks on your shirts, as this product does not stop you from sweating, but it really does stop the odour! (Bonus, you won't get yellow pit stains on your clothes any more, as they come from anti-perspirant products.) If you've used anti-perspirants for years, like me, you do have to get used to it going on wet, but I just whip out the blow dryer and use the cool setting to quickly dry it before getting dressed. I will definitely buy this again, and I'm so happy I can switch to something more natural. I had been using the Jason stick, and this is far better.

This works really, really well. I put it on in the morning, go to the gym, chase around a two-year old all day, and still I don't smell when the day is over. I stopped using anti-perspirant over a year ago, and this by far has been the best and most effective solution. Another plus is that it lasts so long, so there is a reduction in empty deodorant containers out there. (And it saves money!)

I followed the instructions to the letter, but unfortunately this product does not work for me. I used a crystal back in my teens and it was somewhat effective, so I was happy to give it a whirl again because of the possible savings and the great move away from harsher deodorants. I really wanted it to work for me, but after a few hours at work (office gig, although pretty stressful), I can smell myself. I wouldn't even mind the sweating as long as it doesn't smell. I'm really disappointed that the product didn't work for me, but I think it was worth the shot.

My husband and I we've been using it for almost 2 yrs now. Works great, no need to use something else. It doesn't stop perspiration , just stops the "bad-smelling" bacteria from multiplying that's why is very important to have very clean armpits before applying it, which is simply just common sense .....

I use this right after the shower while my armpits are still a tad wet and rub it in for a minute on each side. This isn't an anti-persperant so you will still sweat a tad, but it will minimize the amount you do sweat and the sweat won't smell. I took one star off because it isn't very effective for when I go jogging, but for everyday use (to the office, school, and grocery store) it's great.

This doesn't work. Whenever I run or play any sport or go to the gym wearing this, my arm pits start to stink. This is completely ineffective, even when I use it together with the kiss my face liquid rock in lavender. This should only be used when you plan to do no sweating.

The only deodorant I will ever use. I've been using the larger twist-up version of this for about 4 years now, but we travel a lot and it tends to get knocked around quite a bit. Sometimes the rock becomes loose or the twisting mechanism cracks a bit. So, when I saw this travel size, which is really just the rock with a little handle and screw on cap, I was delighted.
My husband never really liked applying the twist-up version, but he is quite happy with this. And the other reviews are right - it can last for days between showers (great for up at the cottage). You do have to apply it directly after showering/washing though - that's how it's intended to be used. If the skin is clean and it goes on immediately, it works amazingly well. It's not something you can use to freshen up if you already stink, though, and others have commented that you can even contaminate the stick that way.

This stuff is absolutely amazing! I was really skeptical about how well it would control odour since I thought perfume would be the only thing to do the trick. However, when this is wet and applied with a few swipes to clean (and sometimes a few days without a shower) skin, it is phenomenal how long it prevents smell. I'm talking all day in a polyester uniform and beyond after my shift is over with no skunk stinky armpits! Just don't drop this or it will shatter. Perfect size for your purse.

I bought the small version of this deodorant out of curiosity from all the rave reviews! It's definitely a great product! I find that it works extremely well throughout the day and I love that it is unscented!
I have found that it's not quite powerful enough for using before a workout however. Personally, I feel it doesn't quite hold up compared to stronger deodorants during heavy exercise.
