I reviewed this product a few months ago and I just ordered another big batch. It's all I use for my two kids, and it's also the only thing I use to wash my hair (along with an organic conditioner). Continuing to enjoy this product - worth the money!
Very impressed with this soap. No fragrance at all and VERY mild on the skin. A tiny bit goes a LONG way . . . fantastic to put a few squirts in a foaming soap dispenser with water! Works brilliantly and saves a TON of money on conventional hand soaps. Great for sensitive skin!
Good for sensitive skin. Leaves hair very soft but noticed it leaves a film. No scent and is very good for eczema skin or scalp.
After reading the post about this soap smelling like vomit, I walked over to my bathtub, opened my bottle of this soap and inhaled deeply through my nose. No smell. None at all. I also don't understand the comment about it leaving a film in hair; I use it almost exclusively to wash my hair and it is better than any shampoo I have ever used. Lathers up nicely, easy to work through my hair and rinses out clean and squeaky.
This is a great soap, although like some said, it is thin and really hurts in the eyes. However I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old and I have never used anything else. You learn to be careful and if some does sneak into an eye by accident, it's easily washed out right away - although there are a few tears!
I love Castile soap! Since this one is unscented, it's just perfect to mix with any essential oil in my skin care recipes!
Nice mild soap... great price... however it is VERY liquid... so it can be a bit challenging for the very young one who insist on doing it themselves...
The tiniest drop makes tons of suds! I have the worst skin ever - psoriasis, eczema, random rashes here and there - and this stuff helped calm it down quite a bit. It truly is magic.
finally a soap that doesn't bother my skin!! i only use a very small bit, and dilute it about 3 tablespoons for ever cup of water. i put in a few drops of lavender, neroli and myrtle oils. it is very drying ,i find, it stripps alot of moisture, so i always make sure to put on jojoba right after showering. i only use this soap a day out of the week, and sometimes use it on my hair. it works great if you mix it with baking soda as a shampoo. i would highly recommend this soap, to people with delicate skin!!!
i like that it is safe for baby. but husband says it leaves a film on him too. i dont notice it, but the lather disapears fast so we need to apply soap 2x to the shower puff in order to cover our whole body. i like the eculyptis version for making cleaning products.
I have extremely sensitive skin and this product works great for me. You could use it straight out of the bottle, but I like to dilute it with white or green tea and add something to thicken it like xanthum gum.
i use this for myself my 4 Yr old ,5yr old, and my newborn baby. It is so mild and washes nice without harsh fragrances.
I use this as a baby body wash. I love that it is safe for my daughters skin, and quite liquidy, so I am able to use the bare minimum, and not waste any.
I bought this product because I liked that it was fragrance-free and contained only natural ingredients (I have a fragrance allergy). I used it for about a week and a half and then stopped. It made my skin feel like there was a film left on it or something, it was weird. I didn't like it at all. I gave it to my husband to use, but he felt the same way and we've since thrown it in the garbage.
I love Dr.Bronner liquid soaps but this one is my absolute favorite because it is unscented. It is very hard to find on the shelves of a regular store so I was very pleasantly surprised to find it here on Well.ca
This natural soap is superb; it gets you perfectly clean without drying the skin out, and without any nasty chemicals.
It is a large bottle so it will last a while, too.
I use it daily in the shower as well as for washing hands, and even to wash the undergarments.
Love this product! I use it on myself in the shower, as hand soap and diluted with water for facial cleanser at night. It leaves you feeling clean without drying your skin out. The fact that it is unscented is also what makes this product a keeper. Can'f find anything else like it on the market.
Bought this to use on my infant who has allergies to scents. This is completely unscented and she does very well with it. I also started to use it on my toddler too, though he does not have allergies, I loved that it is an all natural and organic soap. The less chemicals for the children to be exposed to the better!!
Love this soap. We use to shower with. I use it my homemade baby wipe solution as well as everyday cleaning solutions...will never by regular body wash again!
Amazing! We use this to make our own shampoo as well as shower soap! Only product used on our 13 month old baby girl. No chemicals, completely natural, certified fair-trade and organic! The potassium hydrochloride is used in the initial chemical reaction to make the soap and none remains after saponifying oils into soap and glycerin.
We have thoroughly researched other baby soaps: all of these contain SLS, EDTA, PEG, fragrance (phthalates) and topical anesthetics (undisclosed, placed under "fragrance" as a trademark secret). The topical anesthetics are what make products "tear-free". Any kind of natural product would need thorough rinsing if it comes into contact with eyes.
We have been using this soap on 2 year old since he was born, both in the bath, and diluted in water for a homemade diaper wipes solution. He's never had a skin rash or diaper rash!
The only downside is that it does sting when it gets in the eyes, but we just have to be extra careful when washing his face and hair!
This is my "go to" soap. I have it in the kitchen not only for washing hands, but also for washing apples before eating (who needs to eat preservatives). I also use it in the shower with a shower scrubber and it foams up beautifully! Soft and nice on skin and all natural. Perfect!!!
I love this product, I use it mixed with borax and essential oils for a homemade all-natural household cleaner.
I can't believe this product! When I first received, we tried to read through the propaganda written all over it so we could use it on our children. After a little bit of frustration, we realized that it needed to be diluted and that if it gets in the child's eyes, you need to rinse for 15 minutes!!!! What kind of product is that??? We immediately returned for a refund.
I like it, less irritating on my baby's eczema skin, it's nice. I've just ordered the shikakai body wash for myself
