Truthfully I haven't used it enough to notice weather its making my colour last longer or not but I haven't used it much because it leaves a crusty film on my hair simmilar to hairspray, so it looks like my hair is greasy when I've just washed it. I only use it the night before I know I'm going to wash my hair (its pink so I maybe wash every 3 days or so) I would recommend trying another product to lock in colour, although I haven't found that product yet.
