I like this water based nail polish. I got it in peacock blue and poppy red.
The colours are nice, good drying time. They don't have the strong odour of
regular nail polish. Perfect for painting my girl rottie's nails. :)
The only difference from regular polish is they aren't as shiny when dry, but putting on the clear top coat helps give it a bit of sheen.

I bough this with the expectations it wasn't going to be great. However, I am pleasantly surprised. It's not like traditional toxic nail polish, but it is still awesome. No odor at all and as long as you follow application instructions on the bottle, I think those looking for a healthier polish option, will be pleased too.

Will buy more and try different colors. Looks great and goes on nicely.

I bought the French Pink, after applying 3 coats, there is still clear, no pinky colour on my nails, very disappointed...but it doesn't smell like other polish, chemical scent, which always drives me crazy.

I am currently wearing the Suncoat "Clear top coat" and I LOVE IT! This is the longest wearing top coat I have ever worn. Its been on about 2 weeks now and STILL looks great, even after roughing it in the woods for a few days. I do not buy from companies that support animal cruelty, this brand does not take part in animal testing, it is totally vegan and I can wear it with a clear conscious :)

I love this nail polish. So nice to not as many chemicals in the product. Initially it is hard to get the polish to go on smoothly but if you put thin coats and let dry a few minutes between coats, the polish will turn out to look amazing

It's really inferior to the conventional nail polishes, but worth it because of fewer chemicals.
The first day or so there is no difference in terms of looks vs. conventional nail polishes. However, it does chip off easily (epsecially the top of the nails) - doesn't last more than a couple of days for me. You definitelly need to use the top coat, it does make it last longer. And you shouldn't touch water for a few hours after application.
Paradoxically, it's really, really difficult to remove, even with the special nail polish remover. I end up scraping ot off, but I'm trying to be patient and use the remover, scraping off can't be good for the nails.
By the time I use half of the bottle, the consistency has thickened and I have to throw it out.
Lastly, I don't like the colour scheme, they keep changing them and it's really difficult to choose a colour from the computer screen. I bought several colours that turned out very different than I expected.

A very nice nail polish, no odour, and no taste. Even let my little grand daughter wear. However, do buy the nail polish remover from the same company, regular remover will not take this nail polish off.

I really like the colour (desert sunset). I only put on 2 coats, but I think it needs 3 to be stronger. Make sure that you don't get a hot bath the same day as you put the nail polish on. I painted my nails at 9 and had a bath at 6 and the polish was gumming up. Still worth it for a more natural alternative. Other nail polishes give me headaches!

I ordered the golden peach and found it very nice. You need at least two coats for a good color. It lasts a long time too. The only thing is regular nail polish remover doesn't take it off. I had to scrap it off which was hard on my nails. I ordered the natural nail polish remover and another color to try. I like that it is water based and does not have a strong smell like the usual kinds

I wanted to like this product but really don't. Such a waste of $10.00! It goes on terrible, and almost impossible to remove without scraping the heck out of my nails. I bought "Chic Black". I'll never use it again. :c(

Great water based polish! The colours are very sheer but I love them. It lasted longer than regular polish for me. I highly recommend it!

I like this nail polish because it's the healthiest alternative to what is currently available on the market. It's not exactly like your regular nail polish, and it takes a bit of getting used to, mainly due to the watery consistency when applying on nails.
It requires a few coats to look its best, and it's best applied after you've showered and won't be exposing your nails to water for several hours, since it comes off very easily during the first few hours after applied. However after it hardens, it stays on for a long time and it is super hard to get off, and takes a bit of practice.
All in all, a small price to pay though for less chemicals on the nails!

It's really good for the toes, goes for about 2 weeks without chipping.
However, chips really easily on my hands. You will need the toakespcoat for sure and even then it doesn't last longer than 2-3 days.
Paradoxically, takinh it off is a pain, takes me forever with the Suncoat remover. Now I started simply peeling it off instead of using the nail-polish remover, but I'm not sure doing so is good for the nails.
I'm also not happy with the colour choice.
I'll continue to buy them, though, the benefit of no chemicals offsets the issues I outlined above, at least in my mind.

This nail polish wears really well... I've had it on my toenails for a couple of weeks now and there's no chipping. The only negative is that it's harder to apply than regular nail polish because of the consistency (it's thicker). Really love it though and will be using it in the future.

ok, it's true you need 3 coats to get an even color but it applies realy easily and the ruby color comes out as I wanted it.
it's lasts fairly well, had a small chip after 2 weeks.
knowing that it does not have all the chemicals the other nail polish have, I am really happy about it !

Love the apricot colour. It is exactly the pinky/peach shimmery colour I was looking for. Will buy Suncoat again :)

I absolutely love this nail polish. I bought the cotton candy, black, berry and poppy red. They cover great, only needs two coats even for the black. The cotton candy was lighter than expected...it's more of a shimmer/frosted pink, which is still really nice just not as thick and rich as it looked in the picture. It dries really quickly and is a dream to apply. The only draw back is that I find it chips really easy so for the dark colors that can be a problem. You definitely need to use the top coat to help with that and give the color a nice shine as many of the colors turn out very matte. I didn't find too much of a problem with washing hands after, just that it can peel and chip easier, which only really matters with the dark colors. I recommend putting it on about an hour before bed, that way it's completely set so it won't get messed up while you toss and turn but also you won't need to be washing your hands etc. decreases on peeling/chipping.

I like the idea of no harsh chemicals but it is very streaky when applying and needs several coats for any color and not being able to wash my hands for 8 hrs just does not work for me.

I ordered the black one. the nail polish is so thick. It was impossible for me to apply a smooth and even coat.

This is a great product. I purchased "French Pink" (no. 12), which dries to a sheer pale pearlescent pink colour - very pretty. I love the fact that there is no odour and this is water-based! Combined with the top coat (no. 23), the end result is indistinguishable from conventional organic solvent-based nail polish, and it is just as durable. The only downside is the amount of time required to set the polish (8 hours of avoiding exposure to hot water). Highly recommended!

B e a u t i f u l. and the best part is no chemical headache! the color is not exactly what it looks like in the bottle, but after 3 coats it gets alot closer. i find it super easy to take off with the suncoat nailpolish remover. that stuff it dreamy too!

Berry #4 is great! No smell, beautiful burgundy color, I apply 3 to 4 thin coats - they dry very fast (within a minute each), and I used Clear Top Coat #23 on top (goes on milky with a purple shimmer but dries clear) and my pedicure lasted me 4 weeks before the nail polish started chipping!! Water based nail polishes stay on longer if you avoid contact with water for 4 hours after you apply the nail polish, so this works perfect for evening time application, before going to bed.

I ordered the light purple and it's actually more pink then purple. It is lighter as others have said and I needed to apply 3 coats. It's also more shimmery than I'd like it. It's also quite streaky but using lighter strokes helps a bit. Overall I like it cause it's a safer alternative and it doesn't smell.

I ordered purple haze and french pink and both colours are completely different than expected. The purple haze is more like a mauve (3 coats) and the pink is clear (3 coats). Taking it off took a little longer but still, it's water-based so I'll just order darker colours next time.

Just received this nail polish, put it on...wow I am so happy that is safe to wear & looks great...I have shorter nails & in the pink shade it looks natural but a nice finish.

I am a self confessed non-girlie girl, so admittedly I'm not so great at putting on make-up and doing nails and the such. That being said, I LOVE this stuff! I stopped painting my nails years ago because every time I tried the smell of conventional polish would give me a migraine, then I found out many of the chemicals in conventional polish are known carcinogens. You can barely smell this stuff and it's water based. Yes, you do need to apply more than one coat and it does take a bit of time, I think it's totally worth it.

If you have patience and your health is important to you, this nail polish is unbeatable. It's true that the initial coats are ridiculously streaky and uneven, but with multiple coats, you can get a pretty good colour that lasts. For me, it also dries quicker than normal polishes which is an extra bonus since I have active hands!

I have been using it for about 3 weeks now. Definitely my preferred nail polish. Once you get to know HOW to use it, you'll get impeccable nails every time! SAFE and Durable polish!!

THE HOW TO: On dry, clean, and moisturizer-free nails, I applied the nail polish. To get awesome results, take your time! Apply very thin layers of polish and in between layers, let it dry! After 2-3 coats, you get the results expected. I applied 4 thin layers in order to get more of a shiny finish but 3 would have been enough. I bought the French Pink (12) color. You have to apply several coats for sure, since all Suncoat polishes are lighter than they appear in the bottle. So mine to me is clear, not light pink. I will reorder a darker shade of pink to get my light pink result. Somewhat, I am SO PLEASED with this product! It doesn't smell badly or aggressive like polishes filled with chemicals. The smell is pleasant and very light. I can get pretty doing my nails next to people in the house now without disturbing them with the scent and MOSTLY, I can do my nails WITHOUT
BEING AFRAID OF CARCINOGENIC INGREDIENTS usually found in mass branded names polishes... LOVE IT!

I bought a light colour and it's hard to get the polish to go on evenly - I will have to try again, although I am not that impressed

I stopped using nail polish a few years ago when I read that most products contain a known carcinogenic agent. When I found the Suncoat products on Well.ca, I was ecstatic. I bought the Dark Purple one. You need to apply at least 5 coats though for it to look good (the good news is it dries quickly). It's still lighter than I expected, but it's ok.
