So disappointed!
I have used Burt’s Bees lip balm every day for over 10 years and have always trusted the quality of your products. Yesterday, I purchased a pack of three lip balms from a pharmacy, and unfortunately something appears to have changed.
The lip balm has a very strong chemical or petrol-like smell that is extremely off-putting and unlike anything I have experienced with the Original (Vitamin E + Peppermint) lip balm before. Because of this, I will likely be switching brands, which is something I never expected to do!
Additionally, I noticed that the ingredients listed on the back of the box do not match the ingredients listed on the sticker on the individual lip balm tube. This inconsistency is quite concerning and raises questions about product formulation and labeling accuracy.
I wanted to bring this to your attention and would appreciate clarification on whether the formula has recently changed? And if there are any plans to change it back?

So sad that I can’t use this anymore
I have been a faithful user of Burt’s Bees beeswax lip balm, and something has definitely changed with the formula. I have swollen lips, pus blisters and can’t use it anymore. I had just bought a 4 pack- which is super disappointing. I am reading the other reviews of so many saying the same thing. What changed???

Endless Burning
I’ve used BB for roughly 15 years and the last year be it so the formula has caused my lips to consistently burn and feel somewhat swollen. I just bought another tube and it will be my last. I always had some with me, in my car, at work, etc etc. Not anymore. Stop trying to fix something that isn’t broken.

Use to be great!
I have used Bert’s Bees original lip balm for YEARS, it has always been my favourite. There must have been a change in ingredients in the past few months as I can no longer use it as it’s causing an allergic reaction.

No uva and uvb protection
I’ve been using Barts for years and stupidly failed to notice it has no UVA and UVB protection ( unless I am wrong and I have not seen it) I now have actinic cheilitis on my lip, which may have been prevented or the likelihood reduced had I worn adequate uv protection on my lips. Please ensure you are aware of what a product has or has not. I have however loved using it.

The design change is awful.
I have used Burt’s Bees lip balm for years and love the product, however the design change is terrible. The cap is so thin and flimsy and the edges of the tube are sharp! You have to make sure the product is turned up far above the tube to avoid scratching your lips and the cap is so easily cracked. Please return to your old packaging!!!

I have been using this lip balm for several years. I found it when I was on a strong acne medication that left me with dry and cracked lips and it was the only balm that could keep my lips from cracking and bleeding without the need to reapply every five minutes. I consider it an essential and don’t leave the house without it.

Disappointed
I always used EOS, and a couple of years ago, I made the switch to Burt’s Bees. Best decision ever. My mom bought me a bunch for Christmas, and I hate it now. I used the original for one day, and had to stop. The texture has completely changed, and it dries out my lips. Now I have about 10 lip glosses that I can’t use.

Burt's Bees Sienna RoseTinted Lip Balm
I bought this to go south. I have used the product before and it went on smoothly, with a lovely tint. This tube however, is so hard, I can't apply it to my lips at all.
I regularly use your other products and would recommend them but not this one.
I really wanted a tinted SPF lip product.

My one and true love
I am on strong acne medication and the onyl lip balm that has helped and left my lips super soft is the original beeswax lip balm--not even the other flavours, just the original one! I love it so much and have gone back to it countless times after testing out other lip balms!

I love this lip chap! I lose these all the time and my mom buys me more! Someone saw i had this lip chat and asked for my number! THIS LIP CHAP GETS ME GALS! Everyone asked for my kisses including my sister and my cousins! STEP mom even got stuck for me!

Caps Breaking
With this redesign to reduce packaging the lid has broken on every single one of the tubes I have. Now they can't go in a pocket or into anything that might sit in a hot car by accident. Price increases, reduced quality. Disappointing.

It’s different
I just bought a new tube and it is quite different than what I have loved for years. I was also unable to get the lip tin that I liked so much. Tried the nighttime intense formula but was disappointed.

Love it so far
Awhile ago I tried out nivea lip balms and the work great!! But I’ve never tried Burt’s bees so I figured I would give it a go. It smells so good and I love the tingling feeling on the lips.i also really like the matte finish of it!

Hate the packaging
Love the product and that it stays on so long and is so moisturizing and healing. Also love idea of recycled packaging but find the cap of the tube to be clunky and hard to open. That's the only reason it doesn't get a 5.

Caps hard to remove and place back on. Product â
I like Burt’s bees lip balm a lot. I use about 1 stick per month. I just wish I could remove the caps more easily and equally place them back on more easily. If this could be changed, it would be a helpful improvement đ

Problem with packaging
My husband and I love Burt's Bees lip balm but have difficulty taking top off the tube because it is so smooth and slippery. If the top had even one or two ridges around it we would find it easier to grasp and pull off.

Ouch!

So sad the formula changed
