The best salt and the only salt we buy now. Was originally recommended to me by my holistic MD and I couldn't find it anywhere else. I use the fine for regular baking, cooking etc and the course is great for a sprinkle on top of food, looks very gourmet.
Sorry - I put the salt shaker review in this box by mistake. Here is my review of the bag:
I love this product and will continue to use it. It is great to have a source for good quality salt. it does make a big difference. many thanks, Leigh
I like it a lot. Glad to have bought it.
Future improvements MIGHT include: an easier to see top. The markings for the shaker and spoon side are very hard to see - and I did dump a lot of salt in a dish by using the wrong one. In the interim, of course, one can just put a sticker on the shaker side. But that idea came after using the wrong side.
Great product though, and I'm very glad to have found and ordered it.
I buy the finely ground and use it for baking, etc. An exceptional product. Be sure to remove it from the bag and store it in an airtight container (i.e. clamp jar w/ seal) so it will not clump up. Salt has a tenancy to do that if exposed to any moisture (as is the case in my small, steamy kitchen).
Celtic sea salt ?? What is that? I have so many salts in my cupboards - this one now takes its place as the salt. It has added a new dimension to our cooking, the flavour enhancements are fantastic. Highly recommended.
This is the first time I have bought sea salt and I did want the ground for cooking. I used it this season to make a turkey breast leftover from Christmas to make a rice and vegetable soup with no salt chicken broth. I used only two teaspoons of the sea salt in the broth and found that I needed a bit more when I ate the soup so used it and everything was good! I too have high blood pressure and am glad this product is available readily from well.ca I give it 5/5 stars for me.
Before I was on the celtic sea salt, I was having a lot of muscle cramps in my legs. I have high blood pressure so I can't have regular salt. It really is nice to not have the cramps anymore, also my food has more flavour now. Love this product.
This is a great product. The flavour is delicious for both finishing, baking and cooking. This is a staple in my kitchen.
I love my Celtic Sea Salt. It has a lovely flavour as a finishing salt, is low in sodium and has all the minerals that have been stripped out of commercial table salt. Did you know that the word salary comes from the root word salt.
I love the Celtic Sea Salt; it has a wonderful flavour, is low in sodium, high in minerals and quite inexpensive.
It's great to have a salt that delivers essential minerals to your body, while enhancing the flavour of foods. This salt is not too overpowering and it makes you feel good about using it as opposed to regular table salt.
celtic sea salt is life changing product at low price and with free shipping. A little change in your lifestyle can bring big beneifits.
Really tasty salt with essential minerals. I use it for all my salt needs.
This salt is wonderful. After using this salt, regular salt seems so harsh. I've been using it for several years and I find that I use less salt over time because it is so satisfying. It has such a rich, beautiful flavor. The coarse version is very nice too -- an interesting taste experience, and I often use it in soup as well.
Great tasting salt. At my doctors recommendation we have replaced our usual table salt with this and also use it in baking. For cooking & seasoning I use the coarser ground grey sea salt which is so tasty and looks wonderful on the plate.
This is a wonderful completely natural product which I use in my baking as well as in place of regular salt. Did you know that much of the table salt on the market contains (of all things) *sugar*? Why on earth? One would think salt is just that...salt. But no, sugar is added, rendering it off limits to those of us on special diets wherein sugar is not compliant. I sprinkle this salt on my roasted nut mixes for a preservative free snack when I want something crunchy and salty. I buy the fine, but use the coarser grain when I make pickles.
