Description

Colora henna powder - brown colour
I am pleased with this product. I didn’t want to buy anymore chemicals for my hair. The smell of them was so toxic, I thought, what is it doing to me? The product says that you might have to colour your hair more often at first to get good coverage over the grey areas, but the colour is lovely with some nice reddish highlights, but not drastic. It smells like something “earthy” and the smell leaves after a few washes, but it isn’t a bad smell. Also it is a lot less expensive than the salon-quality chemical dyes I have been purchasing.

Natural and works good
I liked this product. I almost read all the reviews on well.ca about it before purchasing! I had never used henna colour in my hair before and my hair has not been colour treated for 2 years (with the exception of one semi perm colour more than a year ago). This is important info as my friend is a hairdresser and she said henna and hair colour do not mix, it can burn or damage your hair (could be the reason for some of the bad reviews). My hair is naturally medium brown with a fair amount of red in it, the red can be worse due to hard water sometimes. My hair had that washed out look to it. I purchased the ash brown, which is a really nice colour (in my opinion), I did patch test the day before but I didn't notice a change at all. Before I used the Henna I did an apple cider vinegar rinse and applied that henna to wet towel dried hair (making sure to saturate each strand and gently rub in the mixture). I will admit it was super messy and I could only stand to leave it on for the time said in the package (2hrs I think). As it began to drip down my neck and such. I was also a little worried it would turn my hair green, because that's what it looks like applied. It did not turn my hair green. It was great, very natural and toned down the red in my hair. I had my hair cut the next day by my dresser and she said it looked fabulous. Some bleeding the first few washes. I'm a full month later and it still looks nice I think. I will try other colours as they are out of the ash brown ATM.

Would give it a 0 if I could. I read every single review before purchasing this, and did all the extra tips people recommended. The crumbling mess was bad as people had said, but my attitude was that at least it would be worth it! Unfortunately it did not colour my hair whatsoever, and it was all for nothing. I even left it on a lot longer like other had suggested. I also ordered 2 boxes so thatâÂÂs frustrating!

As I put this in my hair I started to see my hands dye blue then after a hair in lighting seen blue in my hair then after a day I washout my hair in the shower it bleed blue just like when I washed my hair out with this stuff dyed my tub to

A great product and all natural.
I love this product; I have been using it for many years now.
Most of the time, I use only one third or half of the powder at the time (I have long hair) and it last at least 3 months and makes my hair shinny and looking natural.
I tried different colors but most of the time I use Wheat Blonde or Buttercup Blonde. My natural hair color is Strawberry Blonde.

Get It!
This brand of Henna is really amazing, it colours very well and leaves my hair shiny, well conditioned and gives more body. I have been using Henna for many years and being able to find it so easily on well.ca has been a wonderful benefit as the price is very good and ordering it is extremely easy. I will definitely purchase more here in the future!

I am so happy that this Colora Henna Powder came into your store and was shipped to me immediately after ordering it. This Henna Powder is the only Colour that I would use in my hair. It is natural, with no chemicals, no ammonia, no hydrogen peroxide that permanent dyes contain and cause damage to hair.

Not much change
I've been using henna on my hair for years and have always have good results. My hair is a dull light brown and henna usually add lovely red highlights. This product did nothing - even leaving in for almost 2 hrs (vs 1 hr with other brands). I think the henna is too diluted for any noticeable results.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK
I am extremely disappointed. I followed the EXACT instructions -- I even kept it in my hair a little longer for more colour, as it recommended. It did NOTHING. Not even a hint of colour. I wasted my money and my TIME and I want my money back.

Worked perfectly
My hair is growing back after I lost it all from chemo. I was looking for something to cover the grey in my hair that didn't require bleaching out the existing colour first--I'll go back to the real hair-colouring when my hair is longer than one inch! I'd used henna a lot in the 90s so this was my first choice. I followed instructions from elsewhere and used cold tea as the liquid, and added a tsp of lemon juice, let it all sit overnight and then left it on my hair about 3 hours (I used the Sunset Red colour and it was going on very dark, almost black hair with quite a bit of grey scattered through it). I also bought a box of the brown colour in case it came out too orange, but I didn't need that. It came out perfect--my dark brown/black hair is now a dark auburny brown, and the spots where there was a lot of grey are now orangier, but they look like I dyed them that colour intentionally (I love that any colour of the rainbow goes now!). I love my hair--getting rid of the grey makes me feel younger, and this was a natural, easy way to do that.

Fuller hair and we only used it on the roots!
So its a very dark brown color. Not black. But i suppose that's what makes it more natural. It surprisingly doesn't stain your skin. As the chart says, it doesn't color over 20% grey hairs. They recommend using Colora Henna Creme instead.

I used buttercup blonde for years and this time- no strand test- turned me hair a dark blonde red. I checked the box and buttercup blonde. Not happy. This cassia isn’t washing out.

My hair is now dry and static
I used the black one and my hair became dry and has lots of static! Also I noticed that it’s falling a lot and I’m terrified. It’s been 2 1/2 weeks and my hair looks awful.

Chestnut not as expected

Works for me.
