Jamieson Vitamin B12 1,000 mcg Fast Dissolving Sublingual Tablets use the methylcobalamin rather than the cyanocobalamin form of Vitamin B12. The methylcobalamin form of Vitamin B12 is very important in the prevention of neurological disorders, as it prevents nerve damage by maintaining myelin, the fatty sheaths that cover and protect nerve endings. While the most common form of Vitamin B12 is cyanocobalamin, it is the methylcobalamin form that is needed to protect against central and peripheral neurological diseases.

As a bariatric surgery patient I must take B12 regularly & I find that the Jamieson brand dissolves quickly & tastes good too. Also, the price is reasonable.

It's the only B12 vitamin I've been able to find that dissolves (aaside from the strip) in the 1000mcg dose. I'll definitely keep using it.

As others have stated I found this to be VERY slow to dissolve. I tried partially dissolving in a teaspoon of water and then leaving it under my tongue but it tastes terrible. I have resorted to just swallowing with the rest of y vitamins!

This product claims to be rapid dissolving but I find it takes a full mintue to 2 minutes to begin to break down. Otherwise the product does what it's supposed to do.

Excellent product - I take 1 to 5 per day for nerve damage, and it has helped immensely with the tremors I suffer. It's very easy to take, fast-dissolving as advertised, and has a relatively pleasant taste.
