I gave it 3 stars because it smudged quite a bit on to my lower lids. My lashes looked great, but I had to wipe underneath my eye every few hours and reapply concealer. I've only found one "water resistant" mascara that doesn't smudge on me at all: CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion Water Resistant Mascara

Not thick or gloppy. Even coverage. Simple. May be too thin for my tastes. Definitely waterproof.

This timeless mascara is still the very best for not clumping ! looks amazing an i find easy to remove with some vaseline, It's perfect for being out in this snow !!

I find this product very hard and time consuming to remove, other than that, it does what it says- works extremely well as a waterproof mascara.
