Traditional Medicinals Organic Bancha

There are several harvests (a.k.a. flushes) of tea leaf each year. “Ban-cha” is a traditional, daily-use, Japanese green tea variety that is made from mature leaves, plucked in the summer or autumn, while “Mat-cha” and “Sen-cha” are varieties made from young, tender leaves, plucked in the spring. Organic Bancha is strong tea with a somewhat sweet and astringent taste.
