Bactroban Ointment 2%

For the treatment of bacterial skin infections bactroban is active against those micro-organisms responsible for the majority of skin infections. It is particularly active against staphylococci, including methicillin-resistant strains. It is also active against many Gram-negative bacteria as a
result of the high concentrations achieved after topical administration.

For abrasions, minor cuts and wounds, the use of bactroban may prevent the development of infections by sensitive Gram-positive organisms.
