Description
The innovative formula combines a breakthrough oil dissolving technology and acne-fighting ingredients to thoroughly cleanse skin and control breakouts. The unique, oil-free cleanser is formulated with the ACELERA Complex, a patent-pending technology that works to dissolve surface oil, allowing for delivery of acne medication, Salicylic Acid, without over-drying skin.

Dosage: For the treatment of acne.
Directions: Wet face. Apply to hands, add water and work into a lather. Gently massage all over face, avoiding eye area. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Good for daily use.
Active ingredient % w/w : salicylic acid (2%).
Non-Active ingredients : benzalkonium chloride, C12-15 alkyl lactate, citric acid, cocamidopropyl betaine, cocamidopropyl PG-dimonium chloride phosphate, disodium EDTA, linoleamidopropyl PG-dimonium chloride phosphate, parfum, PEG-120 menthyl glucose dioleate, PEG-80 sorbitan laurate, polyquaternium-7, polysorbate 20, propylene glycol, sodium benzotriazolyl butylphenol sulfonate, sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, sodium hydroxide, water.
Caution: FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Using other topical acne products at the same time or immediately following use of this product, may increase dryness/irritation. If this occurs, only one product should be used unless directed by a doctor. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, flush with water. Stop use if excessive skin irritation develops/increases. If irritation persists, consult a doctor.

Keep this in mind before buying.
This product is the absolute maximum strength acne medication and cleansing available without a prescription, that is why all of these people are experiencing such horrible reactions, I do not recommend this product without seeing a dermatologist before hand as it is a very strong and potent product. Most likely meant for the worse case acne scenarios on oily, moist, and strong skin. It is very important to keep that in mind.

Great!

Burnt my daughters face
My 15 year old daughter used this product for 2 days and it literally burnt her face. Her skin was very red and peeled for about a week afterwards. She was in quite a bit of pain for about 3 days before it started healing. Please do not use this product as there is something in it that should not be used in humans.

Best cleanser ever!!!
I started using this and my skin has improved so much. It can be a little rough if you have sensitive skin, but if you have oily acne-prone skin this is the BEST cleanser by far!

Worst Product.
Normally,my skin is clear, but obviously I get breakouts since I am 17. When I get breakouts they're quite bad,so I tried using this product. It dried up my face so bad and made me breakout even more. Worst face product I have ever tried. With the time it took to clear up my normal acne and the acne cause by this "acne treatment", lets just say last month wasn't very pretty. Thanks a lot! -_-

Just as good if not better than Proactive
I had been using Proactive for years and the cost was just getting to be too much. I ended up switching to this product and find that it works just as good, if not better.

Causes Break Outs
I switched over from the Essentials Foaming Cleanser because they were sold out of it and I decided to try this cleanser. With less than one week's use, my face started breaking out (even on my forehead, which has always been acne free). Furthermore, my skin started peeling. I've switched back to the Essentials Foaming Cleanser since and things are getting back to normal.
Stay away from this product like the plague.

New formula doesn't work at all
I bought a new bottle a few weeks ago as I had run out only to find out after my first use that it's a new formula. Thought it was a bit weird that a new formula wouldn't even be advertised at all on the bottle as that's something someone with a bit of acne would at least want to know. Find it even more weird that the old formula is still written on here under ingredients like it's still being used or something. Anyway, It immediately started making me break out after the first 2 days but I kept using it thinking my skin would get used to it over time. Not the case at all. Instead of just getting the occasional pimple like I would with the previous formula, I've got continuous breakouts that just won't stop. Why they would think it's a great idea to completely discontinue a formula and replace it with a new one under the same exact name is beyond me. Especially with a formula that already worked. I really hope there's at least some plan to bring back the previous one, whether it's under a different name or not, as I've been using this product for years and it's one of the few things that actually worked. The previous formula is great but this one is horrible.

Got rid of blemishes but left dry dry dry skin
I gave this three stars because it really does work with getting rid and maintaining the blemishes and pimples. Buutt .... my skin has dried soooooooo much in the process within 4 days of using it!!! My skin looks lines it’s recovering from a sunburn or something because it’s allll dry, peeling, flaky .... from the outer corner of my eyes all the way to my chin. The whole 3/4 of my face is just frustratingly dry and scaly and it’s annoying. I’ve been putting on so much moisturizer but it’s not doing anything. At this point, I’m just happy to wear masks to cover my weird skin.

It works, on the first try within hours!!!
My teenager had very bad acne until we tried this product. After a few hours you can see the acne lessen. No other product have been able effectively reduce the acne for my teenager. Do you have any idea how upsetting it is to see them having to suffer because their acne is returning. Interestingly the instruction on the bottle and this website are not the same. Instruction on the bottle read “ Wash hands with non-medicated soap. Apply twice daily or as directed by doctor.
So we applied it, and left it on. The product would completely disappear after a few minutes and few hours later you could see an improvement. Versus the instruction on your website “Rinse thoroughly and pat skin dry with a towel.” Please return this good product to us consumers so we do not have to buy that other crap being sold.

It refreshes my skin!
I tried this many years ago and it worked wonders. A small amount is put on a mitt and it takes the old dead dirty skin off my face. Within a few moments my skin is tingling and tighter - I feel younger!! It cleans up the pores and refreshes my skin - excellent product!

I do not have sensitive skin, I used this 2 times and I broke out into a rash all around my mouth, so itchy dry and painful!
Tiny whiteheads everywhere!
It's been 4 days and my skin still looks horrible

This product is very strong and doesn't work
Literally the first day I started using this I got a really bad rash all over my face and I was red, and had irritated skin. I used it for a few more days to get some getting used to and it got worse. This product is toxic. Waste of my money if I could return I would.

It did absolutely nothing
I bought this product with high hopes because I have oily skin with acne and pimples all over my faces, but using it for a month, it did absolutely nothing, I mean it would wash away the oil for the time being but overall, didn't live up to its claims. I would apply on pimples one night and wake up to find them still there along with new ones! It has really discouraged me from even trying to get rid of my acne and I still break out all the time and from reading the other reviews, I am actually quite lucky. Terrible product, truly absolute suckage.

worked for a week.
This product was very disapointing to say the least. It worked for about a week and then stopped. Now I have broken out all over my forehead and I am going to the mall tomorrow to buy a new cleanser that hopefully won't be so disappointing. If this product worked for you great but i am very disappointed in you clean and clear. I would not recommend this product to any one.

Amazing cleanser, works super well!
I had been using this product for a few years now and it keeps my skin super clear! Very rarely would I have a single, small pimple but it would go away in a day or two. Unfortunately I have been searching for this product for the last few weeks since mine ran out and I am unable to find it anywhere :( please remake this product!!! We want it back!!!

I was so very disappointed to learn that the Advantage 3 in 1 cleanser was discontinued! This was the one product that really worked for me and helped clear my skin. I know that many other people agree that this cleanser should be brought back again! Please make it again! I don’t know what I will do without it, no other products work as well for me!

Great Cleanser
By far the best cleanser containing Benzoyl Peroxide in regards to viscosity. This product actually stays on your face without liquefying before you're ready to rinse. Why did it take so long for a product like this to hit shelves? I think Clean & Clear should also come out with a 3.5% and a 2.5% as well. Don't compete and waste your efforts on Salicylic Acid products when other companies have gobbled up that market, create one yourself. There isn't too many products out there with Benzoyl Peroxide at this price and strength.

WORST PRODUCT EVER!
I just used it twice and my eyes got totally swollen. My entire face is looking puffy and swollen. It’s giving irritation and itchiness. Face is totally dried off and I have been putting on loads and loads on moisturizer constantly. Moreover, my facial skin turned into a burnt rough layer/patch. If I can give zero star, I would certainly want to do that. I even want to book a consumer complaint sort of thing if I can. I stopped using it as soon as my face is shown with these reactions. But still these side effects persist, may be I need to wait a week or so to become normal. This is disgusting experience I’ve ever faced and the worst part is, I wanted to take care of my acne problem but stuck with additional problems just because I trusted this solution would help.

I use it every day after my workout
I wash my face twice a day. In the AM I use bar soap (Nabulsi) and in the PM after my workout, I use this cleanser. Yes it is a little irritating when you first start to use it, but my skin got used to it. I do not have acne, just mild pimples once in a while. I use this because of the salicylic acid in the formula. It is very effective at drawing impurities out of the skin. I rub it in my hands until it foams, then take my time rubbing on all the areas of my face and neck. I leave it on while washing the rest of my body and then rinse.
This is not a bad product, I just think people do not know how to use if effectively. Remember that the skin cells turn over every 28 days on average, so you need to give products several months usage to be able to give them a fair review.

Works for me
I have combination and sensitive skin. Before i used this product i had really bad skin and would get bullied for it but, ever since i began using this product my skin has cleared up so much and I barely ever get any pimples. Overall this is a great product but it may make your skin slightly dry.

Horrible
Switched to this face wash after the store ran out of my normal face wash. My skin after one use was super dry with skin flaking off. After thinking I need to just get use to the product two weeks later my skin is something and irritated!!! Would not reccomend this product to anyone!

Can't recommend it
This product is the worst products I've ever used my ancestors get worst. The first three days I started it i had a lot of redness and my pimples get worst i thought my face was getting used to it. After 2 week my foundation couldn't hide my acne anymore this is just waste of money

Made my face red and dry
I just recently started using this product and 3 days after using it I got a really bad rash around my mouth and it was severely red and it also caused more white pimples all around. This is a terrible product, I would never recommend this to anyone

Very effective
This product deeply cleanses pores with a tingling sensation to remove excess sebum, dirt, and oil after long days. It leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean without the stripping of essential oils meant to lubricate the skin.
