Holista Evening Primrose Oil

Evening primrose oil is an excellent source of Gamma-linolenic acid, an omega-6 essential fatty acid which plays a role in helping to control inflammatory responses in the body. EPO is popular for easing PMS and menopause symptoms and promoting healthy skin. Evening Primrose Oil is also used to support the immune, nervous and cardiovascular systems, improve certain inflammatory skin conditions and aid in reducing inflammatory conditions (arthritis, allergies).

Each capsule contains: Evening Primrose Oil (Oenothera biennis) 500 mg (providing 50 mg of gamma-linolenic acid, and 360 mg of cis-linoleic acid, standardized to 10% GLA), and Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol) 15 IU.

Non-medicinal ingredients: gelatin, glycerin, water.

    * Do not use if you are taking phenothiazines
    * Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
    * Consult a health care provider prior to use if you are taking anti-psychotics
    * Consult a health care provider prior to use if you are taking blood thinners
    * Do not use if you have any seizure disorder, mania and/or schizophrenia
    * Consult a health care provider if symptoms persist
    * May cause mild gastrointestinal upset, which is usually alleviated when taken with food
