My issue with this product isn't so much a failure of its construction but more so just the nasal irrigation process all together. As mb mentions below, you must stand over the sink when you're done for quite some time to be sure all the water is out. i found this very annoying, however, and found water still was draining for up to twenty minutes afterward. This is not the thing for me, apparently.

I'm new to nasal irrigation, and this was my first experience with a neti pot. So far I think this one works quite well. I think this neti might be a good choice for someone who's just getting into it. I haven't yet tried using the saline packets that came inside the box. Instead I've been using non-iodized salt and it has been working well.

These are just a few general tips i've been following: After using the neti pot, blow your nose very gently (blowing hard can aggrivate the sinuses again).

Another tip - it can help to keep your head over the sink for a few minutes at the end, to encourage any extra water to come out.

I've also read that moderation is a good idea when using the neti pot (as with other things). It may be a good idea to take a break from it for a few days, and then use it again. I guess this would vary from person to person, depending on their situation. For myself, I think using it about once a week has been been working well so far.

I don't love this product but I found that it does the job of clearing out my sinuses. It could be that I keep using it wrong or just have to get used to the water flowing through the sinus cavities but I found the pressure to be a little much and I always get the feeling that water was going up my nose rather than just the cavities, which is uncomfortable.

I was having serious sinus headaches and this spring my allergies were giving a lot of problems, so I thought I would give the neti pot a try. The first time I used it I felt instant relief. As soon as the water started to flow I felt the pressure release and afterwards I was able to breath through my nose for the first time in months.

The pot has helped with my snoring too. Before I got the neti pot I would snore so loud I would wake myself up and would wake up in the morning with a sore throat and dry mouth from mouth breathing. Now I am more rested when I wake up and my mouth and throat no longer hurt in the morning.

My only regret is not buying the ceramic pot but the plastic pot is certainly robust enough for daily use.

I love my neti pot!

I found it helped relieve a lot of chronic headaches. Also, my nose isn't stuffy all the time! Very simple to use (if a bit weird).
