Wonderful product! Used it to heal cracked & chapped hands. But best use has been on face. Don't know how it works, but it does. Have been a faithful User for over 2yrs now. Very pleased customer here.

Like some reviews have mentioned, it has that "medicated" smell to it and the consistency is rather thick. It actually does remind me of some ointment with cortisone that I got from my dermatologist. I have used it on my arms and body in the flare up areas and it helped with the redness, but I found that it was very temporary and only helped for a week of daily use. However, I have continued to use it on my face and it has reduced the redness and itchiness. However, I didn't find the product to be moisturizing. So I would use it on top of my moisturizer to help with reducing the redness/itchiness.

This cream is very good for people with eczema and to moisture dry irritated skin. This stuff is really really thick so it does leave a heavy residue on your face but it works! It is best for winter months as it feels to heavy for the summer. The only down side is that it doesn't sink in deep enough for those with really dry flaky skin and since there is a residue and sticky on your face, putting on makeup (cream based foundation or cover up) is not as smooth. However, the product does work well for my sensitive eczema skin.

This is awesome stuff. I use it to control my hand eczema and it makes a lovely fast-absorbing hand cream even if you just have regular dry skin. I stash tubes of it on my night stand, in my purse, in my desk drawer at work, etc. etc.!

I use this daily at night on small patches of eczema on the back of my hands and forearms. It definitely does the trick if you use it regularly - keeps the flareups at bay. I apply at night because it is thick and a little bit sticky which can be annoying during the day, especially on hotter weather. I find it a bit on the expensive side, but it works so well for my needs that I'm willing to deal with that for now.

I have chronic eczema and this is a good product to help keep it under control. It definitely did not cure anything, but it does help to reduce itch and redness. I've been using it after showers for over a month and it definitely shows cumulative effects after time. It is very sticky/waxy, however, so I recommend using it at night when you don't have to immediately get dressed and out the door.

I developed a terrible rash on my face and my doctor told me it was eczema and I was allergic to something I had been putting on my skin. I stopped using everything and started using this cream. Everything cleared up and my skin looks and feels better than when I was using all the fancy very expensive creams on it. This has also helped the flare ups I get on my legs as well. I wouldn't be without it.

(16, Male) I got this for Christmas, and as soon as I put it on, the eczema on my arms started to clear up and feel better. It's still existant (as of Jan, 2010) but it's never itchy or very red anymore (unless I forget to put on this cream).
It doesn't seem to completely do away with red skin, but it makes you feel much better. My first review, and I totally recommend this product.

I use this to control my ezcema flare-ups. I have had ezcema since I was a child and growing up, cortisones and glaxol based creams never really helped much, they made my skin feel oily and even more dry after using it. BUT with the Spectro Ezcema care cream I get the relief I'm looking for, even if it doesn't quite last all day. I have to apply this about 3 times daily during my flare-ups to feel comfortable... meaning no itching or redness. :) If only it were a less expensive!

My 6 mos old had eczema and came down with a bad case this summer on his neck and behind his ears. This cream cleared it right up and is preventing future flare ups. I love this stuff!

I have both eczema and rosacea flareups (actually my face is almost always a little pink since I stopped taking my rosacea drugs.....but I find this cream helps both of my skin problems, I think I even have less redness from the rosacea on my face--does any one else think it helps with their rosacea????
Just curious

I use this cream on my face to *prevent* flareups.
Whenever I feel that my face is dry after cleansing, or that I can see symptoms of my face flaring up soon, I use the Intense Rehydration Cream daily. It is very effective if you use it daily. Also, it is definitely non-greasy and it gives a matte finish on your face - great for the ladies.
I have to say that, if your skin is *already* red and itchy, it is best to just use any topical medication as instructed by a doctor. This cream won't help much in that case.

I find it works well but it takes a little will power to make it work for everyone. First you have to put it on many times daily also you have to not SCRATCH I know it's tempting but the cylce is, it's itchy ,you scratch, it gets itchy again, you scratch. If you can find what is creating your flare up. In the end its will power and the cream that will help
