I have used Voltaren Emugel for over six years, and am delighted to be able to find a trustworthy source at well.ca. It is not OTC in the US, and too expensive by prescription. I use it for any pain in joints, muscles, and tendons, and often can stop taking oral ibuprofen altogether, which makes my liver happy! The effect takes less than 15 minutes to be noticeable, and when applied 3 -4 times a day (depending on severity), I become pain free. The trick especially for chronic osteoarthritis pain, is to apply it even after the pain stops. After several days, pain sometimes resumes if I don't make use of Voltaren Emugel a daily habit. I have found NO side effects other than happiness. The range of use for me has been from simple sore muscles to sciatica, always with excellent results. I order a dozen tubes at a time, then share with my friends, who are converts, like me!

Personally, I don't find Voltaren to be as effective as Kalaya's Ultimate Pain Rub, which is also available at Well.ca. Although the Kalaya liniment is much more expensive than Voltaren, it is worth it because Kalaya's effect lasts longer, it seems to penetrate much deeper, and it eases joint movement better. The only positive about Voltaren is that it doesn't smell bad. In this case, you get what you pay for. I would not purchase Voltaren again.

My husband, an electrician, frequently suffers from sore back and shoulder muscles. We've tried every muscle product on the market and none compares with Voltaren, which was recommended to us by a pharmacist. Odor free, it soothes almost instantly without the addition of immediate surface heat that can be uncomfortable for sensitive skin. We buy no other product for our muscles aches and pains.

Yet another great product! No foul smells, very nice texture, rubs into the skin and absorbs VERY quickly. You don't need much, just a small amount will do the trick.
I do manual labour at work and need this quite often, it always does the job and I'm back on track the next day! Recommend!
