If you have age-related macular degeneration (AMD), consider Vitalux AREDS Formula — named for the Age-Related Eye Disease Study, specifically formulated to include the AREDS ingredients shown to delay the progression of AMD.
The Vitalux AREDS Formula is proven to slow the progression of AMD and contains:
Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose, hypromellose, vegetable stearic acid, vegetable magnesium stearate, calcium silicate, water, titanium dioxide, hydroxypropyl cellulose, polyethylene glycol, caramel colour, polysorbate 80, carnauba wax, ethyl vanillin, diacetylated monoglycerides, xanthan gum.
Contains no salt, gluten, lactose, artificial colours or flavours.
Precautions: Zinc supplementation can cause copper deficiency. Smokers and ex-smokers should consult a health care practitioner before taking beta-carotene. Consult a health care practitioner if experiencing decreased vision or if you are taking tetracyclines. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have cancer, cardiovascular disease or diabetes. A potential side effect is yellowing of the skin. May cause gastrointestinal distress. This product has come into contact with soy, fish and sulphites. Do not use this product if you are allergic to soy, fish or sulphites.

- Lutein and zeaxanthin, with 10 mg of lutein per daily dose
