Pleasantly surprised by it's nice light scent

I tried Aveeno Stress Relief Body Wash for Dry Skin with Colloidal Oatmeal, Ylang Ylang, Chamomile and Lavender, 975mL and received a full rebate in exchange for my review.
I was hesitant to try this as it is not within my regular go to scents for soaps and body wash but I have to admit it was surprising very light and refreshing. Not being a lavender fan in general I actually like this nice blend that is relaxing and calming.
The size of the bottle makes it a bit awkward. It takes up the entire corner of the bathtub and is heavy. The pump style dispenser does save some aggravation as you can generally dispense one handed without lifting.
The texture is a cross between a lotion and a regular body wash. Thicker and creamier. Great to use on a loofah or washcloth.
I don't have sensitive skin so didn't worry about irritation due to perfumes or scents, but it seems like a gentle enough product that I feel comfortable letting my kids use it.
Would I recommend this? Yes but probably not for everyday use. I would use this 2-3 a week in between regular bar soap use.
I might also look at smaller bottles for convenience.

Lovely, calming and Soothing Body Wash
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I recently received the Aveeno Stress Relief Body Wash for free to try from Butterly.
One of my standout features was its unique blend of colloidal oatmeal and essential oils. These natural ingredients worked well together to hydrate my skin, leaving me feeling soft and rejuvenated after each use.
I love that this body wash is soap-free and dye-free, and I found it to be gentle and effective. I LOVE lavender, and I wanted to note that the fragrance was subtle and not overpowering. I have eczema patches in random areas and I didn't experience any irritation at all.
I am someone who LOVES to take showers and I have multiple products at my disposal. I have reached for this body wash EVERY DAY. Every time I showered. It feels nice on the skin, it lathers well but not too much, and cleans effectively. The scents of eucalyptus and peppermint have a unique way of helping to melt away stress and tension, transforming an ordinary shower into a luxurious spa-like retreat.
I highly recommend [the Aveeno Stress Relief body wash to anyone in search of a gentle and nourishing body wash that helps calm and relax both the body and the mind. It is a great affordable way to indulge in a little self-care during your daily bathing routine.

Extremely Scented

I had the opportunity to try Aveeno Stress Relief Body Wash with lavender, chamomile and ylang-ylang. I have used Aveeno products before, various ones, and liked them all so anticipated liking this one as well. It states it helps calm and relax, while moisturizing your skin. Anything that supports stress relief and is appreciated, especially lately. I purchased this online so I did not have a chance to smell it before buying. Had I had the chance to smell it first, I would not have bought it. I was aware of it being scented, of course, but this product is extremely scented. It's very strong and I imagine that's because the scent is what is the 'stress relief'? If you like strong scents this product is for you. If you do not like strong scents, stay away. This product was convenient to use. The pump is necessary given the huge volume of the bottle ( wouldn't want to be tipping up and down each use at 975mL). While this product left my skin feeling as moisturized as any other body wash (which I do still put lotion on afterwards in this dry winter-y weather), what it did differently as it triggered my scent allergies, so I won't be using it again, personally. As I said earlier, if you like strong mainly floral scents, this product is for you.

Absolutely relaxing and de-stressing wash

I tried Aveeno Stress Relief Body Wash for Dry Skin with Colloidal Oatmeal, Ylang Ylang, Chamomile and Lavender this morning and love it. I cannot wait to use this with every shower now. Firstly, the smell is very subtle but very relaxing. There are subtle hints of lavender, chamomile and Ylang Ylang flower. It's just a very relaxing and pleasant scent. It's smells clean and fresh and natural. Used as a body wash, this lathers well and doesn't strip the skin. Rather it moisturizers as it cleans. It's extremely gentle on sensitive skin. I have to be very careful what I use as I have dry and sensitive skin. This left my skin feeling soft and nourished. I also use this as a shaving lotion for my legs. It didn't dry my skin and instead of lathering, I recommend just pumping a bit onto the skin and then shaving. I got a nice close shave and my skin smells wonderful. I left my skin soft to the touch. It's very soothing and comes with oats. It is soap free and dye free and therefore perfectly formulated to work with sensitive skin. My skin loves this! I feel good about using this because it is from a brand I know and trust to be gentle on my sensitive skin. I love the addition of the lavender and chamomile scent. Never overwhelming, just relaxing and gentle enough for babies. In fact my two-year-old granddaughter use this today as well. She also has very sensitive baby skin and her skin was left clean and soft afterwards. I think it's perfect for the whole family. It's definitely my new favourite body wash and I highly recommend trying it.
