This non-comedogenic face sunscreen is formulated with HELIOPLEX, providing effective broad spectrum protection from aging UVA and burning UVB rays. Also formulated with Dry-Touch technology to provide an ultra-light, non-shiny finish. This lightweight formula absorbs quickly and has a light, fresh scent. Non greasy, making it wearable under makeup. Made water and sweat resistant for up to 80 minutes. PABA-free. In an airport-friendly size of 88ML.

Directions: Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours or after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating and immediately after towel drying. For use on children under 6 months of age, consult doctor.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from White cast & dried out skin terribly I am writing this 2 hours after application, after wearing this for the first time, on a cloudy day. I wore nothing else (no makeup or other products), just a face mask as per guidelines. I wanted to start wearing sunscreen since I've heard it's essential every day. Unfortunately it not only had a white cast on my medium skin, but WORST of all it has dried out my skin terribly and clogged my pores??! I now have flaky patches on my cheeks, chin, and nose, and my cheeks have little white bumps. I did not have those 2 hours ago. I am severely disappointed and now worried about my skin. For Neutrogena's reference, I have sensitive combo skin, and this product claimed to be gentle and non comedogenic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product used to be better I have been buying this sunscreen for several years now and found that is was the best sunscreen around. However after the addition of helioplex, my husband started breaking out in bumps after using it, which had not happened before the addition of this new ingredient. It still works well for me, but has become a problem for him and he has never had any skin sensitivities before. I would recommend this product, but do a skin test first. Hopefully the formulation will go back to what it used to be.

As someone who spends a lot of time outdoors, I need reliable sun protection, and the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch sunscreen SPF 60 holds up to its word. The "dry-touch" claim lives up to its name, quickly absorbing into the skin, leaving behind a matte finish. Despite the high SPF, this sunscreen doesn't leave behind a white cast on my skin, which is a problem I always battle with. The sheer formula blends effortlessly, making it suitable for all skin tones. Plus, the formula is oil-free, non-comedogenic and water-resistant which are all great bonuses! This product was sent to me in exchange for my honest review.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing results I began using neutrogena products many years ago and have never been disappointed so when I saw an Ultra Sheer 55 in the drug store with the Neutrogena name, I was excited. I work in a greenhouse during the spring months and, even behind the plastic and glass, the sun is quite strong. I decided to try your SPF 55. I applied it in the morning before work and again at lunch and, when I finished work at 4:00 pm, my nose, throat and lower arms were all sunburned. The only advantage of your product was that I didn't feel the burn until that evening. Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE THIS SUNSCREEN (which I know is a weird thing to say about sunscreen!) Truly - I love this sunscreen. I really does go on dry. I don't know how, and I don't care. I've just decided it's magic. I really recommend this for anyone who dislikes the slimy or greasy feeling that sunscreen can leave - or if you've got kids who hate putting on sunscreen, give them this. It made a huge difference in our house - especially in getting it on their faces. I love that it comes in so many different SPF's too! As most good ones are, this sunscreen is ridiculously expensive ... but I buy it anyway, simply because of how it feels going on, and once it IS on.

Even though I did not stay out in the sun for long periods of time as I break out, this product dried out my skin so badly that my legs and arms are pealing to the point where I feel like a snake shedding its skin. Will never use this product again.

I just came back from vacation in January 2024 and used this while I was away. I really like the fact that its not a spray and has a very minimal scent. It goes on white, and rubs in clear and you can't even feel it on! You don't get that greasy, slick feeling like other cream sun screens, and I love that its pretty much scent free. If you like the smell of sunscreen, then this product may not be for you. I can say that I did not burn, but I also was applying it consistently. It says SPF 60, but I've read that anything over 30 doesn't do anything, but who knows. I will be buying this product again when I need to refill this summer.

As soon as I started applying it on my arms I felt the difference with other sunscreens, the texture is dry, very pleasant and very easy to apply on the body. I have even used it on my face and the feeling is very good too. Although it is not a mineral lotion, it does not have oxybenzone, which is a very favorable point. The only weak point that I always think should be improved in all sunscreens is the scent, it is very strong, invasive and not very pleasant. But this is not a problem with this Neutrogena product, but with all of them. My overall score is very good, I recommend it and consider buying it for next summer.

Decided to wear only darker colored tops from then on, but still had to be very careful to not get the cream on my clothes. If you sweat it still runs; white sox can only be bleached that many times...

I hate the greasy, oily, sand-will-attract-like-a-magnet feel after I put on sunscreen, so sometimes (don't tell Mom!), I "forget" to put it on. Bad me. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch helps. I love the way it feels so light, almost powdery after I've put it on. I like that I can get a high SPF 110 and it protects from UVA and UVB. And the price is good enough that I won't cheap out and use less because it's broken the bank. Solid purchase. It's now my go-to.

This sunscreen first felt very heavy on my fingers, but I quickly realized a little goes a long way. Using a small amount (pea sized), I was able to cover my face without any white "shadow". At first I could feel the sunscreen on my face but within 5-10mins that went away. I was able to get through 8 days in the Caribbean without any burns! (For reference, I am a fair-skined, blonde, blue-eyed that is VERY susceptible to sunburns). Great product!!

However, throughout the day, when it gets near my eyes, it causes a horrible burning. I have to rinse out my eyes and wash my face for it to go away, which is especially frustrating when I'm wearing makeup and have to wash my face in the middle of the day. The other day I wore the sunscreen to go play tennis, and I had to stop in the middle of my game because I couldn't open my eyes from the irritation. Would not recommend.

Recently took it to Mexico, Bali, and Maldives and its so dry once its rubbed in that you dont feel like a sticky mess while out in the humidity. I always say the best sunscreen is one you will actually use and actually reapply and I had no problem reapplying this throughout the 6-10 hours of intense sun in the most humid of places and I stayed safe and protected from the sun!

A friend recommended this to me several years ago and I have never used anything else since. I love everything about this product. The best part is how nicely it absorbs into you skin and you are still able to grip well enough to open a water bottle immediately after applying. I also love that you don't have to use gobs of it in order to get the coverage you need, unlike bargain brand sunscreen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stung with application, dried out my face and became flaky I used this product for 3 days and started noticing my face was flaky around my mouth, eyes, and forehead. It became red and inflamed and stung for hours after I put it on. Since it was the first time using it, I decided to get through it but I will no longer be using this on my face and it's quite expensive so that's too bad. I read reviews about this particular sunscreen being a good moisturizer and it was the complete opposite for me. Will definitely not purchase this again.

This sunscreen was great to use every day; I liked the high SPF.  It did a great job at not pilling up under my makeup. It doesn't have a sticky dry down, or tacky feeling. It did a great job at absorbing and felt really lightweight. Wore amazingly well throughout the day and didn't make my face greasy at the end of the day. After wearing it for a while, I was happy that it didn't break me out and had a nice light scent.
