(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love Q-Tips! I know you're not supposed to use them to clean out your ears but I do anyway (oops lol) and I've never had a problem with them. I also love using them when I'm painting my nails, they're great for getting around your nail bed and the sides of your nails to clean up any excess polish you may have gotten on your skin. I also love them when I'm doing my makeup. I use them to wipe away eye liner I may have messed up a bit, mascara I've gotten above my eye, and lipstick I may have smeared. So handy to have!

I always get the biggest box I can find - and they usually have a little bonus attached to the package so that's always nice. Q-tips are soft and easy to quickly and safely remove gunk from my ears, from my kitten's eyes, from window panes. <br />
The one and only time I ever tried another ear swab I regretted it before the thing even touched my lobe. The other brand was really cheap and the cotton was so thin the stick actually jabbed me right in the ear. Not cool - other guys..not cool.<br />
This is one product where you truly "get what you pay for" - shell out the extra buck or two - your life will thank you.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Q-tips are a multi purpose product that comes in handy especially with a young family. We use them with peroxide on cuts, to clean out between little toes, to even clean the grime around the sinks faucet. We have tried other brands but none hold up to the Q-tip brand. The other brands tend to have the cotton swab fall off the stick especially when wet. Overall I do find them a tad expensive but for the product that you receive, it is totally worth it. Q-tips are a staple in my house and will always be!

You get approximately the same number of sticks without cotton ends as the generic brand. And I honestly don't find these to be any softer than generic. But please, oh please, do not use these to clean your ears. It is so bad for you. All it does is shove the wax in deeper. You're better off with mineral oil and a cotton swab for when your ears are really bad. Otherwise just using a thin towel after your shower is enough to clean your ears and keep them healthy. Q-tips are better for removing nail polish, using them for makeup, etc. But I would never pay full price for Q-tips unless they're cheaper than the generic brand.

I use them for personal grooming, cleaning, painting... you name it! They are just right for dabbing and getting into corners when cleaning and they hold their shape and do not compress. When used for personal grooming I wouldn't touch a generic Q-tip with a ten foot pole because the cotton comes off. Not with real Q-tips... they are safer to use in delicate areas and for mani's pedi's too. They are just right!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) There are sooo many uses for q-tips but our main use is for cleaning our ears and fixing up makeup mistakes. We've had other brands before, but they all seem flimsy and cheap, and the cotton balls up on the tip of the qtip. Qtips never break on us or have the cotton ball up too much, and I always prefer to buy the real brand over other brands. We last got a great deal on our qtip, one big box and two smaller travel size boxes in one package from the grocery store. They last forever!

Yeah, well let me tell you...it's night and day. There's a reason Q-tip is #1 for such a simple product. Their tips are soft, gentle but strong (they don't fall off in your ear, leave cottony fibers behind, stretch out or lose shape). They clean ears, apply/remove makeup, apply/remove nailpolish so yes,they are rather expensive but hey, I appreciate quality so...

I have tried other brands but there is no comparison to Q-tips in quality and price. They are so versatile , there are so many uses for them. I have used them while doing my makeup, nails and even to help clean my window sills. They are tiny enough to get in those small spaces so they can be very helpful in everyday use. I always throw some in a ziplock bag for when we travel, never leave home without any.

Not only were they not sturdy enough, but the cotton actually came off the tip. I went back to these Q-tips and I would never go back! They are sturdy, can clean well and can hold product well (eye shadow). They are also great when you need to remove those little bits of stuck on mascara or eye liner. With a quick splash of water and a pinch you can point the tip even to get a more accurate line.

I am very specific about ear hygiene and these do by far the best job cleaning my ears. I also use them when I'm touching up my make, to clean my jewelry and many other small tasks! These don'r bend as easily and have the most cotton at each tip. No other cotton swabs compare. They are worth the extra couple of dollars for the quality!

The stick is also sturdy and dosen't bend as easily as other brands we have tried in the past. We use them for cleaning our ears, applying makeup, cleaning hard to reach places along the windowsills, arts & crafts, applying disenfectant cream to scratches or other boo-boos. Price vs. Quantity vs. Quality makes this brand of cotton swabs a winner!

Q-Tips are very strong and do not bend easily when using them. The tips are soft and comfortable to use and easy to dispose of. Q-tips brand is the ONLY one to buy. The sticks are sturdy and hold their shape, the cotton swab ends stay together and stay put on the sticks. I use these for a multitude of beauty and grooming uses, as well as kids crafts, and household cleaning. Do yourself a favour, spend the (little) extra and buy the one and only Q-tips brand.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I keep trying cheaper, dollarstore versions of this product and always come back to Q-tips. They are a bit pricier but they are worth it. They don't fall apart like other brands and the cotton is of really good quality. They are also less "sharp" than other brands and are really soft. Good for travelling ( you can dip them in eyeshadows and stick them in a ziplock bag), removing makeup, fixing makeup mistakes, and obviously cleaning your ears.

Okay, I know they now say you're actually not supposed to clean your ears with Q-Tips (or anything else), but when you've been doing it for almost 30 years you can't just stop! Q-Tips are the only brand my family uses, and has since I was a child. I have tried other brands and they just fall apart in your ears, or while scrubbing off nail polish, or whatever else you use them for. Q-Tips NEVER fall apart and for that reason they are perfect.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Q-Tip brand cotton swabs are head and shoulders above their competitors when it comes to comfort. The wand is durable so it doesn't flex and bend too much when you are trying to use it. The cotton tip is fluffy and full yet compact. This is important when using the swab when you need precision such as touching up make-up. Nothing worse then immersing your swab in make-up remover and it just becomes a gloopy mess and falls off the wand, or you gouge your sensitive eye area with the end of the wand. These ones stay nice and compact so you can neatly clean up wherever needs cleaning up, make-up wise or the intricate folds of your ears. I also trusted only Q-Tip brand to clean around my newborns umbilical cord. I will never use any other brand.

They have enough padding that you don't get scraped by the sick and it is so soft. My hubby loves how they feel when cleaning his ears. I use them for so much more, applying makeup and removing it, craft projects and cleaning around the house. They are also a must for my first aid kit. Q-tips are definitely an item to keep around the house.

I once saw a very large package on special and so I purchased them on the spot thinking Wow what a great deal! I got home and tried them a few days later and OMG yuck! The only thing they were good for was maybe to be used in some kind of arts and crafts project. I could not stand them. Back to Q Tip brand for me.

You can also paint with these, use them for different arts and crafts projects. They are the right size. They make no mess.<br />
The price is not high, the quality is great.<br />
Whatever reason you want to use them for, they certainly don't let you down.<br />

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I often use cotton swabs to clean internal computer fans (these often get gummed up and provide less-than-adequate cooling performance). To reach all angles of the fan blades as well as the heatsink radiators, nothing beats cotton swabs dipped in rubbing alcohol. Now I've used both Q-Tips brand as well as the less-expensive dollar-store brand, and for the most part, the Q-Tips brand of cotton swab lasts the longest and provides the most thorough cleaning. On the Q-Tips, the cotton swab end stays intact long after the dollar-store brand end shreds and disconnects, and the plastic stem on the Q-Tips brand remains rigid long after the dollar-store brand stem bends out of shape. For whatever you use cotton swabs for, Q-Tips brand cotton swabs are a worthwhile purchase.

I use these all the time they are my regular brand i use them for cleaning nail polish of my nails, i use them for removing make-up from the corner of my eyes, and i use them for cleaning my ears, I also use them for cleaning in those tight areas you cant get into with a mop. I only use them periodically - my hearing specialist warns against them but sometimes you just gotta! Qtips stay together and don't shred in my ear. I also use them on my dogs ears, she has floppy ears and we have to clean them frequently. With Qtips I know they are soft and gentle so I don't have to worry about hurting her.

The guys use them for the typical ear canal cleaning and medical use but I also love them for fixing makeup and nail polish smears, to precision apply my eyebrow dye, to apply glue to false lashes and even for household cleaning use! They have a larger amount of plump cotton fiber on the tip than other 'cheap' brands so you are not going to poke through to the plastic stick.

I like using it to clean off my eye when mascara goes on my eyelid i put a bit of makeup remover it is perfect it doesn't mess up the rest of your makeup. It is excellent for awkward corners on window panes etc. It does not scratch the surfaces and can be safely used almost anywhere. I used to purchase cheaper products but had the unfortunate accident of leaving the tip in an ear canal....will never do that again or use a cheaper product.

They are the only ones that have enough cotton packed at the tip that doesn't squish to nothing when you use them so you don't get poked by the stick. I use them daily and aside from the usual cleaning out ears, putting on ointment, makeup, I also discovered, they are great for cleaning out my baby's nose (she's so tiny, it's the only thing that works:)

This brand is the brand we buy they are durable and do the job they need to do. I know they are clean enough to use to adjust small details on cakes. They fit in cracks and crevices of cars to detail them. My children used to use them as paint brushes. And of course to clean dirty ears lol. Must have on hand product.

This product is so versatile and is great for girls to help with makeup boo boos! Also great for cleaning the ears, obviously. Whether it be cleaning up little makeup mistakes, tidying nail polish oopsies, or (gasp) yes, cleaning your ears, Q-tips are the gold standard. They've got enough cotton to make them soft and comfortable for even the most gentle jobs, but the sticks are sturdy enough to hold up to bigger things. I make sure to always keep a few in my makeup bag and my first-aid kit!
