Incredibly misleading/contains fragrance
WHY would you add fragrance to a product designed for use on delicate, broken, and irritated skin. Pure plain old Vaseline works just fine (which I thought I was BUYING since it’s clearly labeled “100% pure “hypoallergenic” ...I’m not even sure how they can claim that.) I do not get this. And I’m TICKED because I ordered the giant container, and applied this to my 9 month old with sensitive skin and eczema, before noticing the intense “baby powdery” smell. It’s very misleading... nothing says “This is plain ordinary Vaseline” like “100% pure petroleum jelly hypoallergenic”...

Not happy
Purchased this for my husband who has severe eczema triggered partially by fragranced products. Thought it 'smelled', checked ingredients and no mention of fragrance, so applied it, smelled it again, rechecked ingredients, then noticed the 'baby' designation with no mention of fragrance. I bought Vaseline looking for pure product, not fragrance. And especially not labeled as such. Now feeling like I just made my husband's skin worse. :-( It's now in the garbage. Would have rated 0 but it wasn't an option.

Should advertise it has parfum
Do not purchase Vaseline Baby if your baby has any sensitivity to fragrances/perfumes. The only difference between the original and baby product is the additional ingredient of parfum in Vaseline Baby. This should be advertised on the front of the product seeing at it is the main difference, but it is not.
I made the mistake of trying Vaseline Baby over the original, and only realized my mistake after she had a reaction to it. Yes, this is my mistake for not reading the ingredient list prior to purchasing, but I am still baffled with the fact that this product does not advertise this, especially when it is geared towards babies who do have very delicate skin.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Love using Vaseline! It's a great multi tasking product! You can use this for cosmetic purposes or skincare use. I'm a makeup artist so I like to use this a lot in my makeup kit. I like to use this to soften dry rough patches on the face or skin, moisturize dry lips, create lip colours by using this as a mixing medium base for the new lip colour. I also like using this to create glossy lids on the eyes when I do beauty looks on editorial shoots. So handy to have, you can use Vaseline on so many purposes! Also very safe to use on sensitive skin and babies. A must have in any household! :)

Scented not good for eczema baby
Bought it for my baby with eczema, her skin started getting worse and I checked ingredients it says pure petroleum no scent noted. Now I come to find out it does. You should label appropriately her skin is so bad now I'm so upset.

Should specify that it is scented!
Bought this Vaseline for my son who needed it for post surgery. At first I didn’t think it was scented, if anything had added protection for babies. Once opening I realized it was scented. Looking at ingredients now it says parfum. I wish it was more obvious on the front of the container that it is scented with a baby powder scent. Other wise the original has worked wonders for us. Just do not recommend this one anyone with sensitive skin. Or allergies to scents.

Scented Vaseline for a Baby?!
We purchased this Vaseline for our newborn baby. We were using it when we brought him home from the hospital thinking It would help to prevent irritation / rash. Shortly after we started using it, we noticed irritation and, as first time parents, started to use diaper cream to fix it. Then, we went to the doctors and were told the pink Vaseline actually has fragrance it in!
Why would you add fragrance and market it towards babies? We switched to the original Vaseline and he not longer has irritated skin. This is really upsetting that the Vaseline marketed for babies is scented and why it isn’t clearly labeled as such is beyond me. I never would have purchased it and feel I was misled by the marketing on the label. I threw out one unopened jar and a jar that was 3/4 full - such a waste.
This is unacceptable and should be changed immediately.

Cleared up my baby’s eczema
My four month old broke out with eczema over her chest, belly, arms, legs and entire back this winter. I took her to the clinic and got steroid cream which temporarily did the trick but as soon as I stopped using the prescription cream she broke out again, even though I was using the expensive baby eczema lotions from the pharmacy. When I got in to see our family doctor he suggested Vaseline. The baby vaseline was less than half the price of the special eczema creams that did not work. It’s now been almost two months using the Baby Vaseline and her skin has been totally clear since the week I started using it. I also discovered that it works well as a diaper cream, so now I have just Vaseline rather than separate lotions for baby’s body and diaper area. I would absolutely recommend this product to moms. My daughter’s sensitive skin looks great now that I’ve been using it.
