Perfect Product for Dry Skin
I bought this product about a month ago and so far it has done an amazing job. This product is perfect for someone like me who has dry skin especially during the winter season. Before Cera Ve, I had been using face washes that made my skin felt tight, dry and flaky. This cleanser moisturizes my skin without making it feel oily. The consistency feels like a combination of a lotion and gel and is so smooth on the skin, after washing my face with cold water my face is left feeling so hydrated and refreshed. I also pair this product with the Cera Ve moisturizer. Just after a few weeks my skin already feels so much smoother and less dry. I definitely love this product and and highly recommend you try it out!! Definitely worth the purchase :)

New Formula a disapointment
This product used to be fantastic! I have used it and loved it for years. Unfortunately they decided to reformulate it to remove parabens (which science says are fine and safe) among other things because this new formula is watery, has an unpleasant smell, stings my face and leaves a film. I'm so sad as this was a holy grail product and now I have to look for something else.

My face drug store cleanser
I love that this cleanser is hydrating and doesn't strip my skin when I wash my face. I hate cleansers that give my skin that squeaky feeling afterwards. This reminds me of a more expensive cleanser that I used to use for years but at a fraction of the price. A little goes a long way!

great cleanser!
this cleanser really does what it says. i have normal to dry skin that sometimes gets oily overtop of my dry skin? my skin is also extremely sensitive and has a bit of rosacea. it’s weird. anyways after a few days of using this, you can really see an improvement in the moisture of my skin. it has that hydrated glow that makes my skin look almost reflective. it’s super gentle and doesn’t have a scent at all so my skin isn’t red or irritated, which often happens with other cleansers. only thing that i didn’t really like is that the cleanser itself kinda looks and feels like a lotion. it doesn’t lather up, but feels like you’re washing the face with a lotion. obviously this is probably what contributes to how greatly it moisturizes, but it wasn’t something i expected or was used to!

The best facial cleanser!
I've tried so many different skin cleansers over the years trying to get acne and alternating dry/oily skin under control. CeraVe hydrating cleanser is the only one I've found that makes my skin feel clean and hydrated, without that shiny/tight/dry feeling! 5 stars!

Very gentle
It's difficult to find a cleanser that does a good job without stripping your skin of moisture. This is the best product I have found for my 50+ skin. Thoroughly yet gently cleanses, leaving my skin clean, hydrated and very soft.

Excellent cleanser !
I bought this cleanser when I was going on accutane (heavy duty acne treatment) and I used it throughout my entire treatment and for the last two years since. This is an amazing cleanser that leaves your skin feeling moisturized and not tight. This cleanser doesn’t break my sensitive skin out and leaves me feeling clean. I pair it with the Cerave daily moisturizer and my skin feels great! I wish I had found this cleanser years ago!

Perfect addition
I developed eczema on my eye lids during pregnancy and was making progress with the Cerave eye repair cream but couldn't quite get it under control until I changed my regular cleanser for this one and the eczema completely cleared up. I also apply a pump of this to dry skin and work in to remove makeup followed by a second "wet" cleanse and it gets my skin completely clean.

Didnt like it much
I bought this today and i used it, thinking its going to remove the oil n dirt off my face but it didnt... i hd applied sunscreen and moisturizer before washing my face with cerave cleanser. It did nothing, i felt the same oily face after wash as well... so i am going to return this particular cleanser as i had to wipe my face with towel to remove the whole complex it made.

Excellent
I bought this product around 2 months ago and I love it!! I recently bought pany oxyl for my face since I ran out of the cerave cleanser and it made me break out because it was very rough. So I went back yo this cleanser and it leaves my skin so smooth an hydrated!! I’m looking to buy the cerave foaming cleanser after this one finishes. Thank you cerave!!

A confusing question
I want to buy hydrating cleanser and moisturising lotion but if the cleanser moisturize your skin and lotion as well so then next day when u wake up how is this cleanser gonna help removing the oil from your face after few days i can start getting open pores which i dont want. So anyone with this experience or anybody who knows pls help me here

Stuck in the middle.
I bought this hoping it would be a gentle cleanser to follow up with after an oil cleanse. It didn’t cleanse the oil away and left me feeling like I needed to wash my face a 3rd time. I tried the foaming one but that one strips a little too much. I feel like I’m stuck in the middle. I used it as a body wash over the winter. It’s ok for that.

holy grail!
this might be the best product I've ever bought. I used to have a serious issue with dry and tight skin because of products I use to control breakouts, but this cleanser keeps my skin feeling hydrated to the point where it feels like I don't even need moisturizer. My skin is very sensitive so I love the clean ingredients as well.

The best face wash
I’ve had acne my entire life, and I’ve been on the drug Accutane twice to cure it. I still get pimples from time to time but this cleanser is the best cleanser to keep my skin clean and the pimples at bay. It doesn’t dry out your skin. Pair it with their moisturizing cream for dry skin and you’re all set for the winter!

unfortunately did not work for me
I bought this cleanser a couple months ago. It does not cleanse my skin thoroughly. When I proceed to pat my facial skin dry the towel is left, it seems, with all my makeup.

Good for dehydrated skin
I just switched to this cleanser and so far my skin is doing well with it but that’s coming out of winter when everything’s dry. It doesn’t have a squeaky clean feel when you wash with it, it’s more creamy. I think I will purchase the foaming one for summer but keep this one also for when my skin is more dry.

Bought it again
I took a sample from the dermatologist office and my first take was, ‘is this cleanser?’ It kind of feel like a light lotion but it does the job. So I bought the full bottle and that’s good value. I even use it after cleaning makeup brushes with soap and then apply this cleanser and wash it a final time.

ive been using for about 4-5 weeks now, and my skin looks a LOT healthier. i think my moisture barrier was damaged before from hyper exfoliation but this was a good cleanser to bring me back to normal. skin does not feel tight and dry after washing. I have nothing bad to say. just thank u

So hydrating !
I find this formula soothing and hydrating for my skin. It doesn't make my face feel stiff after washing. It feels smooth and I sometimes don't even apply moisturizer at night after cleaning my skin with this product. I recommend if you have dry skin!

I bought this cleanser a few weeks ago and wouldn't be able to say enough good things about it. It cleans your face very well, leaves your face feeling very smooth and extremely hydrated. Love, love this product, especially for mature skin.

Great accompaniment with topical anti-biotic
I have very very bad maskcne due to working 60 hours a week wearing a mask 10 hours a day. Now I have NEVER had acne before and needed very strong anti-biotics with steroids for my skin. I have so many scars but my acne is gone. I am happy yet sad. My acne is gone but my skin is scarred up. I also found that although the acne medicine I got was godsend it made my skin insanely dry and itchy and I didnt want my skin to go through the ringer again. So i bought this cleanser and i love that it isnt soap but basically like a lotion consistency it really didnt aggravate my skin at all. ALSO all my dryness gies away whenever i LATHER my face with the CERAVE Moisturizing cream. Now i looked at the ingredients for the lotion vs the cream and they basically have the same ingredients so i just buy the cream its more bang for the buck and in a HUGE jar. It easily has lasted me a year. I highly recommend this product to anyone with severe acne who is also on medicine which makes your skin very very dry this really healed my skin along with my topical anti-biotics.

Changed formula.
Used to be my favourite cleanser and have used a few bottles of it but I just bought a new bottle and it has made my face feel weird. It is slightly burning and tight. And my lips feel numb.
Not happy.
Why change a good thing?

Maybe contaminated
I have been using this for a while. The bottle from Shoppers had a much thicker soap. The one from Well.ca appears to be more liquid and dilute. There may be some contamination. I will not buy this product from Well.ca in future.

Irritating
Unfortuantely it irritated my eyes - to the point that the inner corner of my right eye was swollen, itchy and hurting. I stopped using the cleanser and my eye went back to normal. I think this formula is not for sensitive skin.

SAVED MY DRY SKIN
This cleanser is AMAZING and truly saved my dry skin. It leaves your skin feeling plump & soft right after cleansing but also does an amazing job of cleaning your skin. My ride or die cleanser - could not live without!!!!
