Directions: Wet skin with lukewarm water. Work into lather with hands, cloth or loofa and massage into skin in a gentle, circular motion. Rinse.

Liquid body wash no more! The bar is back!
Our household has been liquid body wash users for a long time, but after using this bar we've totally converted. I love the lather it makes and the fact that it is completely soap-free so it doesn't dry out our skin. You actually feel moisturized after using it. It also lasts far longer than any other bar of soap I've used in the past.
I've also started using it to shave with and it's better than a lot of shaving creams. If you use a shaving brush, you get a great lather and a great shave. Best of all is I don't feel like I need a moisturizer afterward and my skin has never felt better!

Wonderful
After suffering for yours with dry itchy skin and also suffering from eczema I found it very hard to find a cleanser that helped my skin. I was sent to a Dermatologist and she recommended the Cerave Cleansing Bar and gave me a sample to try before I purchased it. After that first shower my skin felt wonderful. No itchiness, No dryness. I was hooked completely. I will never ever go back to any other product again. Its Cerave for me all the way from now on.

Horrible smell
I loved all Cerave products that I tried.. except this one.
I thought Cerave was supposed to be fragrance free but the scent to this product is really strong and horrible.
Once I got out of the shower, the smell lingered on my skin, so I went back in with another soap. This one goes right in the trash.

Triggered Seborrheic Dermatitis
The one ingredient in it that isn't safe; Stearic Acid is a known SD trigger. I used this bar once in the morning, my neck broke out in itchy red blotches that took 3 hours to settle down, but it was 8 hours later that my forehead (which itched all day) broke out bumps and then got reddish pink patches and began to peel. All I could do was quickly wipe my tea tree eye cleaner over my face and a few hours later the outbreak was gone. Although this felt hydrating, the Stearic Acid is a known comedogenic and will clog your pores which will trigger a SD outbreak. If it didn't have that ingredient, it would be perfect to wash my face. I threw it in the trash.

Hydrating and great for all types of skin
This is a very comfortable soap, especially for use on face. I use it after I use an oil cleanse and it takes off everything, without drying and harshness. In the morning, I use it just to remove oils and night skin care. My skin is less red and irritated.

Wow!!
This is incredible. I’ve never felt anything like this... I have very sensitive dry skin and I can feel other soap bars stripping my skin and making it more dry, since this is soap and fragrance free it doesn’t do that. It literally feels like you’re putting lotion on as you use it. It’s very calming and moisturizing. I’m not sure about value for money, it’s expensive compared to other soap bars but knowing how much money I’ve wasted trying to buy every product under the sun trying to alleviate my dry skin and eczema so having this work is worth the money!

Saved my skin
My skin can get so dry that is super itchy. I had scratched so much that I had a huge spot on my leg that looked like a bruise. After trying to put creams and ointments nothing really worked. Then I started using the Cerave Hydrating Bar in the shower and within 2 weeks to spot was gone and my skin was no longer itchy and tight. Amazing. Once the bar was finished I had another one similar to this one so used that one. Not a good idea. The itchiness came back. Cerave will now be my go to cleanser for face and body. What an amazing product. Thank you Cerave

This product checks a lot of boxes for me - reduces plastic waste, a paper packaging, no animal testing, is fragrance-free, and has a formula that does what it says it will. I'll be using this product on repeat.
