Chromium Rust?
I would not repurchase nor would I recommend these cups. I am trying to transition kids away from plastic sippy cups, but these stainless cups are problematic in a different way. We have used and put in dishwasher half a dozen times when I noticed black dust flaking under the cup rims. It affects all four cups right where mouth meets cups for drinking! I am finding this impossible to clean away. My Google search findings this may be chromium rust. I purchased similar stainless cups by Kleen Kanteen and so far they do not have this issue. These Red Rover cups are destined for recycling I think.

Excellent Quality
Purchased over a year ago for our kids and to eliminate plastics. Best decision and well worth the money. These cups don’t dent or rust. I generally hand wash but have used in the dishwasher with no issues. I have a 7 and 2 year old perfect portion size for dinner and summertime use. These have been left outside in their play house and again, the quality is top notch. I will likely buy more and highly recommend.

Great Cups
Trying to get away from using plastic. This was an excellent transition as outdoor cups for the kids. They love the coloured sleeves.
