How does it work?
Step 1: Select get started. You will be directed to book your virtual (phone or video) appointment with one of our physicians. If you already have a prescription but want delivery you can transfer your prescription.
Step 2: Book your virtual appointment. Choose how you?d like to connect (phone or video). Pick the best date & time for your busy schedule. Fill in your personal
details, and submit. Appointment booked!
*$30 fee will apply to your appointment. Psst? many health care spending accounts will cover this fee!
Step 3: Complete your appointment. Connect with a physician during your scheduled appointment to discuss if the medication is right for you.
Step 4: Choose Well.ca Pharmacy, and your prescription will be delivered! If you submitted a prescription request, Well.ca Pharmacy will confirm your request and arrange for delivery.
Is this legit?
Yes. Your privacy is our top priority. All of our doctors are Canadian licensed physicians. You can verify the status of their license and view their credentials on the college of physicians website for the province they are licensed. Just like an in-person visit, the doctor is responsible for understanding your case, medical history, and determining the appropriate treatment. If the doctor is not able to help through virtual care, they will advise that you visit a clinic or hospital in-person.
Do I have to pay for my virtual appointment?
Virtual care is covered by the provincial health plan in Ontario.
How does prescription delivery work?
Well.ca Pharmacy is available in Ontario, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. We deliver next business day to most areas of Ontario, and in 3-5 business days outside of Ontario. Delivery is dependent on submission timing and location. When submitting your refill request, complete your details & select fill! You will be notified when your order is sent out.
Do I need to be present at delivery of my prescription?
An adult needs to be present at delivery. We are currently offering contactless delivery. Learn more
