Lashes look natural but darker and thicker
I have been using this mascara for years now and find that it really works for me. I want something that looks natural but darker and thicker than my own. This does the trick and lasts through the day. It removes easily too. My method is to use 1 wand for 3 months with the previous one for a second coat. After the three months are up I throw out the one that is now 6 months old, get out the new one and repeat. So my first coat is always the newest one, never double dip either of them on a session. I use the brownish black which is less harsh for older skin.

Quite good mascara
Although my favourite mascara is the Clinique Naturally Glossy mascara, I like the High Impact mascara, too. They are both non-irritating, but I'd say that the High Impact mascara adds a bit more thickness and the Naturally Glossy defines but is more natural. So it depends on which look you prefer.

My go to mascara
I've been using Clinique High Impact for many years - probably more than a decade. This makes my lashes fuller and really "finishes" my look. I find it has good staying power, even for long 12 hour shifts, and doesn't flake off below my eyes. I love how easy it is to wash off without having to use a harsh remover, and without having to rub or yank on my lashes (I find many other mascaras too hard to remove and they cause me to lose my lashes). I've tried other mascaras a few times over the years, but I always come back to this reliable product

Ok for sensitive eyes
I used this for an event and I did not have red eye as compared to using other brands. The thing is, it did not create volume on my lashes but still a good product.

Good, expensive, too much packaging
I like this mascara. It doesn't irritate my eyes and I like the glossy look when it dries. However, I think $28 is way too much for one tube of mascara. Clinique, maybe you could lower the price by using different packaging. My purchase arrived today in an 8" x 10" silver-coloured envelope, looking like something from an 80's sci-fi film. Today I also received another product from another company sold to me by an independent seller at a major marketplace (I can't write in the name as my previously written review was not approved since I included it). That individual packed my purchase in a small, plain manila envelope. The smaller size and paper exterior will be recycleable, unlike the Clinique shipping bag. Clinique, I buy your products for what they can do for me, not for what they're shipped in. Maybe the mail carrier was excited when they saw the package, but I only saw a wasteful use of resources. Let's make changes where we can help our world while still enjoying good products.

Luscious Lashes!
I wasn't sure about this when I first tried it - it goes on thin but is building with a few coats (No drying time between coats). It gave my lashes a definite volume boost but didn't look fake. It also doesn't clump up when applying. it didn't bother my very sensitive contact wearing eyes, and it didn't smudge at all (I have tested it with two very sweaty mid-day workouts). I would buy this again and would totally recommend.

Definition mascara, NOT high impact
OK, so honestly, I bought it, because it's a bestseller. I'm not disappointed, but it's definitely not a high impact mascara. It's just a good definition mascara. It separates lashes well, slightly elongates them. But to achieve a dramatic look, you have to keep layering it several times, very slowly and carefully. So, really nothing to rave about. There are a lot of mascaras on the market doing exactly the same at a much lower price.

Thick but not long
I'm used to the High Impact Extreme Volume. Tried this version to see if it would be better. It's not. You'll get lots of coverage at the roots but no matter how hard I try I cannot get it to come all the way out to the tips and give better definition and coverage there. So if you like the clumpy look this is the one for you. If you want separation, length and definition this ain't it.
