(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This lil guy is so much fun! Everytime the kids play with him, we ALL end up playing as well. He is certainly a hit at my house.
The setup was fairly simple. My husband had him up and running within 15 minutes. However, if you do not download the app suggested, he is rather limited. You can still play with him though. The app just enhances the experience greatly and makes it 10X more fun and engaging.
We had a bit of trouble downloading the app. We had to try 3 times before it would work correctly. Not sure if that's been updated or not, but it's not a HUGE deal as it did download VERY quickly once it actually began.
The only negatives I can see are the limited play without the app and he comes with only 1 ball.
Trust me, it gets lost rather easily once you add children and pets to the mix! I do wish it came with at least 2. Just be sure to keep track of the one you have because he really can do multiple things with it.
Overall, an extremely fun and engaging toy. Perfect for gifting as well!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My son enjoyed playing with Boxer. I was glad it came charged and ready to play right out the box. The instructions are easy to follow and the video tutorials make instructions even easier.
Within a few minutes my son was dancing around the room with Boxer and the DJ function had them looking like playmates . The soccer was another favorite. My whole family got involved in the fortune teller game. It was entertaining to see my son playing without asking for help. He's 6 and can operate Boxer all by himself. The charge time was quick to, my son wore Boxer out in a few hours but it didn't take long to have him recharged and ready once again for play. I could tell my son was especially ty thrilled by the motion sensors , he felt in control. He preferred the motion over the actual remote control which I was surprised by. We downloaded the app codes but haven't had my son use them yet. The iPad is a earned privilege in our home and honestly there's so much we could do with Boxer on his own I savored the time my son spends without the iPad aspect.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) As soon as our package arrived my children were so excited to open it. They couldn't wait to see the new Boxer robot. He was simply boxed, yet very cute and appealing to them. We did a quick unbox and they got to see all the things he came with. Which was great because it is quite a few things, like his ball, cards, & charger. The balls are for him to do different tricks and games which is so fun. There is also an app that we downloaded that gives you even more fun games and tricks to do with boxer.
Boxer is ready to play right out the box. He was fully charged and ready for anything. The kids love that he follows their hand around the table. If you shake him or sneak up on him he doesn't funny thing. (Try it! :) ) The interactive games were a hit to, he kicks his soccer ball and dances.
There are so many things that boxer can do. The more to play with him on the app the more that unlocks. The price point is great making it affordable for families with children.
I would defiantly recommend Boxer to others looking for this type of fun interactive robot. He is super cool, durable, with tons of personality.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Boxer is full of fun! Straight out of the box he was easy to set up. We watched a video ahead of time anticipating his arrival so we had an idea of his specialties. We took him out of the box and turned him on....he was good to go. He has loads of personality. My kids (4 year old girl and 8 year old boy) were laughing and playing along with him. They loved trying out the scanning cards to put him in different play modes. They loved the dj mode most. They all had a dance party in the kitchen. They had some trouble with getting boxer to kick the ball but I am sure they will master it with time. They played with him so much he ran out of battery. I love that it is easy to plug it in with the usb charger. My only complaint is that I wish the battery lasted a bit longer.
My son is very into coding and he has asked for a robot for a while. I was going to purchase a coding robot for him but, because we limit screen time it was going to become an issue. Although Boxer is not a "coding" bot, I think he is a great alternative and he requires no screen, unless you want to use the app....but it is not required.
I got this for free to review. It has not influence on my opinions, they are my own. We actually loved this so much. I bought one for my nephew for Christmas.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Boxer the Interactive A.I. Robot is so cute and so much fun! My kids loved him the second we took him out of the box and turned him on. His LED eyes light up, he looks at objects in front of him, follows them with his eyes and makes cute facial expressions. When you put your hand in front of him and move it around slowly, he will happily look at and follow it to play with you. He makes a lot of funny noises, he loves to "talk" a lot in his robot language and kids really love his voice that sounds like a little minion. He loves interacting with you. He comes with his own small soccer ball that he loves to "kick" around and play with, he also comes with a remote control so you can control his movements and spin him around. If he falls over, he even knows how to get back up. With the remote control you do have to be in close proximity to Boxer so he will get the remote's signal. There are also 10 game cards included, which you let Boxer "drive" over, he will "scan" the card's unique codes that way and he will then start playing the game or do the activity of that card. There are games and activities like dance party, slingshot, bowling and many more. If you download the Boxer Robot app to your phone or tablet there are even more activities you can unlock for Boxer, and with the app it is super easy to just swipe the "card" towards Boxer on your screen and he will start playing. Boxer is so much fun to play with and engages my children, from youngest to oldest! He is small but mighty! He can be pretty fast and loud, it would be nice to have a volume control on this toy, I love that Boxer is rechargeable and comes with his own USB charger cable. What I also like about Boxer is that he is built sturdy, which is great for kids, and due to his speed he fell off of our table and didn't get damaged at all!
