Disappointing:(
Tried this lemon product to replace the AMAZING but sadly discontinued C&C Continuous Control Acne Wash with 2% salicylic acid (discontinued for a few years now). Unfortunately the lemon scent in this product was aggravating to my sensitive acne prone skin and the product was ineffective at helping my breakouts. Your discontinued acne wash (mentioned above) had it all...2% SA, limited number of ingredients, great foaming ability, did not dry skin, no gimmicky and irritating fragrance and most importantly it CONTROLLED ACNE. Bring the discontinued acne wash back...pretty please!!

I always look for a brightening cleanser or any other face products because I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and dark spots. Using this along with my other products, I have noticed my skin feels fresh and brighter. Vitamin C is great for your skin and everyone should include it in their regiment both topically and orally. And this product is packed with vitamin C so an added bonus. It has a gel-like consistency so its not too intense but does the job. Clean & Clear Lemon Gel Facial Cleanser with Vitamin C

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Overall a nice cleanser. If you get anything from the line I would recommend the exfoliant pads if you're actually seeking brightening of the skin. I don't see myself repurchasing this product as I prefer more basic cleansers for everyday use, however this may be nice to use once or twice a week just to switch it up. Not a horrible product but rather mediocre. There is a lemon scent to the products so of that bothers you stay away! I personally try to stay away from fragrance as much as possible as they tend to irritate my skin. However I haven't found that to be the case with this product!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I used this cleanser for an entire month before reviewing to make sure my review was accurate. This is a good gel cleanser. Got everything off of my face (note - I do remove my makeup first always before cleansing, so did not use this as a makeup remover), and left my face feeling clean. I would not say this is a good cleanser if your skin is really dry, as it may be top stripping, but normal to oily it works well. I think this will work the best for me in the summer when my face is a bit oilier from the sweat and humidity, so I am going to save the rest for after workouts and for the summer.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The cleansing gel is thick, lathers very nicely, removes makeup very easily and leaves a refreshing scent of lemons on your face. My face was slightly red after using this so I may have too give his too my husband as his skin is thicker and less sensitive than mine. I did notice that the ingredients in this face cleanser has parabens. I honestly thought companies stopped using these chemicals in there products. For the reason and that reason only I dont think Ill be buying for my family.
This product is only suitable for oily or acne skin types. I got his product for free too test and review!

I like this cleanser - very citrus-y, fresh scent so it would be great for the morning. I tried it about three days in a row, morning and night, and I don't think it really brightens that much, that I've seen anyway. My skin did feel very soft and clean after using this with my Foreo Luna 2 Mini each time, but I'm worried it's a little drying? May seem that way just because I have dry skin, it's winter, and it's a placebo effect because of the sulphates though! Would recommend overall as a good drugstore option.

Works well, even on sensitive destroyed skin.
I have bought the whole line of clean and clear lemon products, I have tried MANY skincare products from multiple brands spending hundreds upon hundreds on skincare just for those products to not work and end up irritating and destroying my skin. This is the FIRST skincare product and line I have used that has not irritated or stung my skin, and this is on extremely red, sensitive and damaged skin, and it still didn't sting or hurt, it was soothing, it felt nice, it worked well on removing all my makeup and dirt on my skin, I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for an effective facial cleanser that isn't harsh on the skin. I love this line of products.

I found the lemon scent to be too overpowering and not very natural smelling. But the most annoying part is why are there artificial colours in this skincare product?! Come on! You can find natural colours from natural sources like vegetables and other plants. Those two dislike are pretty much the reason Ill pass on this product for something else. Also my skin is on the combination side so this would only work on the t-zone and possibly just in the summer other than that it would be too drying.
