Worst toner ever do not buy
I'm not even kidding when I say that this was the WORST toner I've even tried. I don't even have that many pimples, but whenever I would use it my acne would flare up like crazy. I tested this toner on and off for a month, with the rest of my routine staying the exact same,and not even two days of using this I would start getting pimples on my forehead and chin, and some of my existing active whiteheads would become inflamed. I am almost 100% sure it was because of the alcohol in this that's causing these problems. I don't have a particularly sensitive skin,( my skin's fairly tough) and this swole me up like a balloon. Clinique please stop using alcohol in your toners. I'm extra disappointed because all the other reviews are really good and I trusted them but now I've realized that this toner is the worst TL;DR :Alcohol is the worst for your skin, please don't buy this.

My Acne went down by 70% after using it for 2 weeks
I always had acne problem, tried all sort of products it helped for a while and stopped working. I had been using the clarifying lotion for a few months now and my skin is getting better everyday. After using it, my acne decreased by 70% and is getting better each day.

It cleared my acne problem
This works like a miracle, I have tried numerous toners for my acne but nothing worked until I found this "clarifying lotion". Totally recommend it, I have already used up three bottles. The other products in the acne solutions line are all amazing as well!

Can change your life
I followed the 3 step acne treatment . I used the 3 products routine daily . I had very severe acne, redness and blemishes . Everything changed It will dry the skin initially and then improves. This changed my life

Really works

Works for Hormonal Acne due to Menopause!
42 and I have more acne now than I did in my teens... Hot flashes, sleepless nights, weight gain and to top it all off acne, yay. But I can honestly say that using the Clinique acne line has made a huge improvement!!! Worth every penny. Just keep using it, keep up your daily routine. I noticed acne returned with the gap between run out and re-purchase.

Great for breakouts and oily skin
I've been using this product for a couple months now and have already had to repurchase a second bottle. I use it in conjunction with the acne solutions cleansing gel and spot treatment and have noticed a positive difference in my skin and less breakouts. When the breakouts do occur, this line really improves them in no time at all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Good cleanser
I have been using Clinique products since I was 17 years old. I am now 53. I still LOVE this lotion. I have tried other 'toners' and have always come back to Clinique. I highly recommend it!

Clears up Acne in no time!
I absolutely love this clarifying lotion! It has been a part of my nightly routine for over a year and I couldn't be happier with the results. It leaves my skin feeling fresh, minimizes the appearance of my pores and helps to reduce the swelling/ redness of any acne that pops up.

BYE BYE PIMPLES
My go to product whenever I have pimples especially if it's the time of the month. I stopped the product for awhile thinking my skin was already ok but then again I had another breakout. So I guess I will be sticking to this product for a long long time. I just love it!

Miracle Worker
Every once in a while I get a few pimple but my skin is always oily. I tried this and it made my skin balance out the oil levels while not drying out my skin completely. I have sensitive skin and this didn't harm it at all. Love this product

Love it
Although I'm type 3, I find this to work as a miracle. I've been struggling with white heads and pimples here and there, and I even tried using clarifying lotion #4 to get rid of them, but nothing helped. Then I decided to try this out, and boy I wish I tried this earlier. Highly recommend!

Life Changing!
This toner changed my life! After COVID and wearing a mask all the time, as well as changing some medication, my skin started to break out terribly. I tried this, along with the acne cream, and I saw results within a couple days. After a couple weeks, my skin was basically breakout free. I now use this every evening as part of my skincare routine. It literally changed my life, and I am forever grateful!

Reduced my breakouts!
This product really helped me with acne and prevented crazy breakouts. Even when I'm on "the time of the month", this product controlled my skin to make sure I don't break out as much as I used to. I remembered I ran out of this toner and had to go back to my old toner which is a witch hazel rose water toner, and I broke out like crazy! I had to go back to the toner once I started breaking out again. This saved my skin with all the breakouts I could've gone through!

Go to exfoliator!
Mechanical defoliators tend to hurt my skin. I use this chemical defoliator which is not too harsh, but just good enough to leave my skin feeling clean, tight and glowy. An absolute must for acne prone skin! Not overly drying, can use daily and nightly.

Ironically, the Clinique products that cause irritation
I purchased a set of this whole product line a while back, and all it did was to cause irritation to my skin. My skin was flaky and itchy, with red bumps all over my face. Stopped using it and my skin got better. Very ironic that the Acne solution line is the one that cause my irritated skin to be more irritated.

Prevents Oily appearance

Great toner!
I purchased the clarifying lotion as a part of the Acne Solutions three step system. I find this to be a great toner / exfoliating lotion. It's perfect for oily and combination skin. I've been using it for approximately two months now, & still have over half a bottle left. It has definitely been helpful for breakouts and now I continue to use it twice daily as part of my skin care routine for blemishes and prevention.

Very strong smell
Reading reviews I have never seen such a high rating and of course as an acne haver I was convinced to buy this lotion. Unfortunately, nobody wrote about the smell which is very strong. All "Acne solutions" products have it. I wish I had a sample before purchasing full size. As for the result, it takes time I guess because I cannot say something noticeable about my skin.
