Almost Lipstick
First the good - it's super hydrating and comes in a nice skinny tube. The not so good - it's way too sheer for darker skin tones. The description does say you can layer but I have to put on about 5 layers for even a hint of color. I've had colored lip balms with more color in just one application. So, it's good if you like moisture and maybe it shows up better on lighter skin tones, but for darker skin tones you can get less costly balms with a bit more pigmentation.

Pink Honey is not at all similar inBlack Honey shad
I ordered Almost Lipstick in Pink Honey and am disappointed in it as it is not at all similar to Black Honey with regard to texture and application. It is more like an old-fashioned matte lipstick; feels clumpy on, not smooth and moisturizing. I hope that Clinique will come up with a better, smoother version of Pink Honey because the current version is just not cutting it.

LOVE IT!!
I loved this product. It feels good in the lips, no fragrance and its creamy. The more you put on the darker the color is. Its great for everyday wear and for special occasions as well

Perfect colour
The colour of black honey is stunning. It's an extremely unique lipstick and it's much more moisturizing than your average lipstick, and the packaging looks much sleeker and classier. I think it could be a bit glossier and even more moisturizing, but not a dealbreaker in the slightest.

So glossy and longlasting!!
I LOVE this product, its the only lip shade i use. u can apply more layers for more vibrancy or keep it natural with a few swatches. it makes my lips look super glossy and shiny.

I just love it!
I got this as a sample, and love it so much I have almost used it all in a short amount of time and I rarely get through a whole lipstick. Just a nice hint of colour and it is really moisturizing. I will for sure be repurchasing.

Great shade
I love the almost lipstick in black honey. The colour on my lips is not as dark as it looks in the tube. I've been buying this product for years. During the pandemic it was perfect to put on for a zoom call. Have my lips some colour without drying them out or feeling too done up.

Way too expensive
I got this product few times for free with purchases. I can't believe this product is one of the best sellers. The quality is like a lip balm in a drug store, nothing special. But the price and the size, are you serious?!?!?!?! No need to recommend or not recommend, for this price, who will spend money for it?

Buildable colour
I like it that it can be subtle or bold depending on how you layer it. Note, it's also my 20 something niece's favourite lip colour and she loves when I pickup a tube for her. Buildable colour and pretty with a clear gloss layered on top.

Love this product!
I have loved this lipstick for many years... the colour, the way it feels going on, etc. The only thing I don't really like is the shape. I find that it breaks a little too easily - wish it was more of a regular lipstick shape. Then it would be a 5!

Perfect 'almost' lipstick
I am not a fan of lipstick and I am fair, so it's really hard to find a go-to everyday lip shade, but this is it! I even wear it on no makeup days! I am 44 and this is the first time I have tried this cult classic! It's literally perfect.

Well I was suprised by this product. I thought it looked way too dark for me, but as it turns out it's more of a a balmy texture so the color is in no way too dark. My lips poped and looked great and I felt they were really hydrated after.

The perfect color!
When they say it's the perfect color, they aren't kidding! I am very pale and have NEVER had a nice color of lipstick. I showed my family and they loved it! They all ended up trying it on and it looked great on them too. I love the way it feels (not greasy) and that it smells nice. I find some lipsticks have a chemical smell and this one doesnt!

Stumbled upon this and it's one of my faves!
I received this product in the shade black honey as a sample in my spring rewards kit and it quickly became one of my fave Clinique products. It is like magic, it adjusts on every skin tone to suit them. It is like a natural flush for your lips and it is super hydrating and not cakey. If you like natural looking makeup, this is your product!

Effortlessly Classy
I'm not really a makeup girly, I just don't have the time or patience for it. This product is amazing because it takes seconds to apply and I instantly look and feel so much more put together. Beautiful colour that I get compliments on often. Only downside is I wish there was more in the tube...doesn't last very long for the price.

Great if one of the two colours works for you
I used to love Clinique's Almost Lipstick; I'd found a fantastic colour that worked beautifully with my skin tone. (There used to be lots of colours to choose from.) Now, neither of these colours really works for me. The dark one is way too dark; the light one just isn't the right pink for me. The product itself is great. Clinique, please bring back the old colour choices!!! I would buy this for the rest of my life if you do!

I keep Black Honey Almost Lipstick in my purse always. I use it either alone or to cover over my lipstick later in the day when I feel I need a refresh - and it goes sheer over any lipstick you are wearing. I always feel naturally beautiful wearing this! Also wonderfully hydrating in the dry climate where I live.

My everyday lip tint
I love Black Honey Almost lipstick. It's subtle yet tints my lips. I love that it's moisturizing, is very portable, lasts quite a while, and I get compliments! I didn't think it made much of a difference but since I've received compliments on my 'lip colour', I haven't used any other lip stick since. Love.

My Fave Lipstick
Black Honey is one of those colours that I've worn with every makeup look and every hair colour I've had and it always looks great. It's never too much -- just enough. And it's super moisturizing and doesn't feel tacky / sticky either.
