CL302 Equalizer Technology targets dark spots in two ways: corrects with the CL302 Complex and interrupts future ones with the Interrupter Complex.
CL302 Complex: with 2X the brightening dose helps visibly reduce dark spots and discoloration. It includes the following: UP302 (dimethoxytolyl propylresorcinol): A targeted brightening molecule inspired by border silver, or dianella ensifolia, a botanical known in traditional Chinese medicine for its antioxidant properties. Ascorbyl glucoside: Helps reduce the appearance of discoloration.
Glucosamine: Weakens the bonds that hold dead skin cells together to encourage the departure of cells containing melanin.
Yeast extract: Clinique's "cluster buster" breaks up (exfoliates) large clusters of pigment into smaller particles so they're less visible.
Salicylic acid: Gently sloughs off the uppermost layers of the skin to reveal fresher, more even tone skin.
Interrupter Complex: with a cocktail of soothing ingredients helps minimize irritation to interrupt future hyperpigmentation. It includes the following: Gyokuro (camellia sinensis leaf) extract: A green tea harvested with a special method in Japan that helps quell irritation. Mulberry root extract: Rich in antioxidants that help counter free-radical damage that causes irritation. Rice bran extract: A potent anti-oxidant and anti-irritant, and helps to prevent future dark spots by defending skin against damaging free radicals. Complex of olive squalene, barley extract, and wheat germ extract: Helps nourish and replenish skin with hydration.
How to Use:
Use twice a day, morning and night. Dispense 1 to 2 pumps onto fingertips. Spread serum all over your face, avoiding eye area. Follow with moisturizer. Daily sunscreen is imperative. Apply in the A.M. after your moisturizer. Great To Know: No parabens. No phthalates. No fragrance. Just happy skin.

Brightening Effect - patience for dark spots
Dark spots , age spot will not disappear overnight. I have been using this product for 4 months now. Initially I have not seen any visible results except for the fact that my skin did brighten which made the dark spots. sun spots more visible than ever. I continued using the product month after month and now I see the spots fading. I love this serum so much I have bought a supply to last me for the next 12 months! Anyone who tries to use this must ensure skin is prepped properly for maximum absorption. Just 1 - 1.5 pump is enough to spread to the whole face. Don't overlap too much skin care routine. Just be patient. It will work!

Please bring back the original formula!
For me, this new product does not work as well as the original formula. I had been using the original formula for the past 13 years and experienced amazing results on every area of my face. My forehead and upper lip were particularly problematic. After using the original formula diligently for several months on the dark patch on my upper lip, the discoloration had completely disappeared and has thankfully not come back. While this new product may work well for some folks, I'm sure the original formula works better for others. It would be greatly appreciated if Clinique would consider offering both products!

It's an excellent product!!
I like this dark spot serum because it is enough moisture to use on its own during the day. I have large pores and this serum does not contribute to making me get black heads or break out. I apply it and my skin toned and my pores tight. It had been a gradual process. Other dark spot treatments ive used produce a faster result, but too engaging on the skin. This one from clinique has many benefits in one. It protects my skin from from further damage and helps disguise my existing dark spots and uneven tone due to its Ingredients and it makes my pores way less visible without causing it to get oily a few hours later. You must use it routinely and consistently like any other treatment .

Life changing!!!!
After 2 days of morning and night use. (Smallest amount of product is needed BTW) my spots are 60% lighter. I have very sensitive skin. And i am allergic to most products. I have tried so many other spot lighting treatments and products including IPL and nothing has given me results like this serum. It is worth the money if you are suffering from high pigmentation like I do. Clinique has saved my face. I wish i could upload my two day apart before and after to show these amazing results!

Didn't work for me.
I have enjoyed using Clinique products for the past 25 years! With advancements in technology, I was excited to try this product that targeted some problem areas on my face. After using the whole bottle diligently, there is no difference in my dark spots or areas of my face scarred from acne. Disappointed that this product did not work for me as I have such faith in Clinique products including the 3 step skincare regime, various moisturizers as well as the fabulous make-up line, love all those! I can comment that the serum is silky soft going on with a non-greasy feel.

Great for post acne dark spots
I got this for post acne hyperpigmentation and did actually see results after the first use. For some reason I don't breakout that much and when I do, my acne scars heal much faster and don't leave a dark spot like before. My previous scars are much lighter after about 2 months and my face is brighter overall. It probably works better on the "dark" spots and not the redness caused by acne but I'm happy with it as it is. I purchased two more bottles for the future when it was on sale and I strongly recommend you try it. BUT manage your expectations. It's not going to do magic for you and as they claim it would be effective for up to 39%. I'd say it lived up to my expectations and I plan to keep using it.

It truely works, but patience is the key
Tried with a LOT of different products to try vanishing the darks spots in my face. Some worked at the beginning but eventually they stop working. Until I found Even Better serum. It vanished the dark spots in about 20% in the first 10 days. But by the day 40, I've realized the spots has vanish in 50%. I kept using it for about 3 months and notice that it still was working but is not as noticeable as the beginning but of course, the spot aren't that dark so is not easy to keep track on the porcentage. But what I can tell you now, is that I've been using it for over a year, and some of the spots has vanished completely l, and the few that are left has vanished I'd say in 80%. And the best part of all: it, combined with daily SPF, prevents the appearance of new ones. Love this product!

Effective for dark spots
Hi I bought this during the pandemic so I had enough time to take care of myself and really focus on the details. This time were "My dark spots under the eye and some on the cheeks" I can say that after 2 weeks of use I definitely saw a difference!!! I had an "L" shape dark spot under my eye and it was shading away and after after 3 months gone!!! I'm still using it, as I still have some spots left on my cheeks, and its an important step in my routine :) Hope this helps
