Retinol is an extremely effective and powerful anti-aging ingredient. You may experience mild redness, a warm, tingling sensation, or flaking (skin exfoliation). These conditions are normal, temporary indications that the formula is working.
• If you experience increased discomfort when using Clinique Smart Night Clinical MD Multi-Dimensional Repair Treatment Retinol, revert to once every other night until skin adjusts. This adjustment can take up to 4 weeks.
• First time users and those with drier skin types may want to use Clinique Smart Night Clinical MD Multi-Dimensional Repair Treatment Retinol every other night for more than 2 weeks to give skin additional time to adjust. Radiance+!
My skin has never looked better! I pair this treatment with the Clinique Smart Clinical Repair Wrinkle Correcting serum and Wrinkle correcting cream at night. I love the way these products work on my skin. My skin is brighter and smoother.

Love It!
I got this as a free product in store because I spent over a certain $ amount and I just need to say .. wow. This does work on my skin and I'm very picky about products that go on my skin but this has smoothened my skin so much! I use their acne treatment products when acne flares up and I use this is at night to repair it and it truly works :) I use it probably twice a week as the other days I use bio oil before sleeping! I would recommend it :)

My first retinol product
Have been using this for several weeks and the results are immediate! When I'm on my video calls now, my face is gleaming! Particularly notice improvement in the forehead frown lines. It's totally smooth. I look great :D

This product may seem expensive, but you only need to use a pea-size amount. It will last a long time and is a good value. Add to that the fact that it works great. it's now one of my favorite Clinique products.

Best retinol treatment for sensitive skin!
This is the best retinol treatment for sensitive skin. It doesn't give discomfort, rashes or heavy peeling you would get from others. I use this only at night and my skin has greatly improved. How I wish the website still has the set which is a good value for your money.

I really like this serum best used at night along with the smart wrinkle correcting moisturizer and eye cream. Use sparingly as the retinol is potent. Makes skin appear more youthful and healthy.

No irritation
I am very new to retinols so I expected irritation, but I didn't notice any irritation which is great! I have not noticed much results, but I know that it takes a long time to show results with retinols, from one to two years usually, so I didn't expected immediate results. I just love that I'm not sensitive to it and I love the texture.

it is a good retinol product , but like any other retinol product do not forget SUNSCREEN! the skin feels red an ditchy after a week of use which apparently is normal

My Skin Never Got Used to It
I slowly added this to my nighttime skincare routine as recommended, but kept it consistent to hopefully get my skin used to it. Unfortunately it never really did; even with 30 SPF face sunscreen just for a half hour walk with my dog each day (in winter), I ended up with frequent (I'm assuming) sunburns on my face as well as breakouts, which aren't very common for me. I kept telling myself it would get better, but I just don't think this product is for me.

too harsh
I had no problems the first few uses, but now it has caused redness/burning like others have posted about. have stopped using it and hope this goes away. had previously used the L'oreal retinol with no problems so will probably return to that product.

It absorbs well and feels good to the touch. It's just that the Retinal of 3% is more sensitive on my face
