The eyes light up certain colors to tell you what toothless wants or needs such as food, petting, rocking, etc. You you can even help it learn to fly. Once you have read the instructions and figured out key concepts, the toy is very exciting. My kids have had so much fun figuring out how to care for their dragon! Highly recommend this toy! We received this toy for free from the Family Rated Club in exchange for an honest review.

It is very easy to play with and the charge lasts for hours. I love that the eyes change color when Toothless is all charged up and ready to play. The instructions are very easy to follow and that makes playing with Toothless even more enjoyable. I would absolutely buy this toy for a friend or family and will definitely be recommending it to mine. We love our Interactive Toothless Dragon!

The texture is plastic thought it was going to break easily but no it fell so many times. We got it to fly at first we struggle a little because you have show the dragon how to fly. It’s like a pet you have to feed him play and give him love he also sleeps it’s so cute we enjoyed it. Also it has good battery life doesn’t discharge that fast. Recommended to all! Definitely purchasing in the future for present.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is pretty awesome for younger kids. It is similar to one of those toys that hatch out of an egg. Where your child can bond with it and interact with it.
Toothless has different touch sensors that allow your child to comfort him and much more. His eyes change color when he’s sad, hungry, sleepy, needs to burp, when he is full and also when the child has gained his trust.
Simple up and down motions teach toothless how to fly. Although upon days of taking care of toothless, we haven’t been able to see him fly yet as he needs to learn how to fly to be able to do it.
This toy has kept my five year old busy though and teaches him how to care for a nurture. It’s comes with a little fish that you can feed to him and charges by usb on a base.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This DreamWorks Dragons Flying Toothless Interactive Dragon is incredibly fun for the whole family!! My son has enjoyed every minute! At first you have to get the Dragon used to you and help it learn to fly, kind of like a mommy or daddy Dragon would. Afterwards out it back and wait for it to fly. You can hear the noises he makes before take off. All you have to do to keep him up is put your hand under him. He will go high and low. If you don't put your hand bellow him, he will go closer towards the ground until you do or he lands. You can also give him a little treat, which is a nice touch! It really is like having a new pet around the house and so much fun!!! I will be buying one for my nephew for Christmas!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We received a free Dreamworks Dragon Flying Toothless Interactive Dragon toy to try out but the opinions are completely my own. Initially my kids were super disappointed because they wanted to play right away but we had to leave it to charge before we could play. The directions were not incredibly helpful so once the toy was fully charged it took us about 20 minutes or so to figure out how to get him to take off and fly. When we finally figured it out the kids loved it! They thought it was cool that he could fly. After we got him to fly however we couldn't get him to fly a second time. His eyes turned a different color to mean he was tired and he wouldn't do anything.
Overall it is fun if you can get him to work correctly but that was very difficult for us. We likely would not recommend him to a friend.

I loved the fact that it was more than just a flying toy. Toothless has feelings, and you actually help train your own dragon! We had some issues getting ours to fly... but we absolutely had a blast. I would definitely recommend.

My son loves How to Train your Dragon and Dragons so I just knew he would be happy to see this interactive toy "Toothless" when I surprised him with it. Toothless is super cute and very light. The instructions that came with it overwhelmed me at first but once I realized what I was looking at it became easier.
This toy does so many fun and cute things- you can pretend feed him with the provided fish, tickle his belly, burp him, play games and the most fun part, to help him learn how to fly.
You definitely need some room to make sure Toothless doesn't bump into anything and he certainly gets better at flying after playing with him for quite some time.
He is easy to charge and doesn't take that long to charge fully. His eyes light up different colors letting you know when its time to charge, feed him, tired and more.
Very cute toy and my son has spent many hours playing with his new "pet".
