(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My daughter loves baby dolls and when she knew we were receiving Luva Bella doll she couldn't be more excited. The doll really surprised me, there are lots of things this doll can do making it an incredible experienced.
Our doll came with 4 accessories, one interactive soother, one interactive spoon, one interactive lamb, and one interactive bottle. The doll uses 4 c1.5 batteries, it is also beautifully dressed and has a beautiful hair accessory with a bow.
One of the things that my daughter loved the most was to be able to teach her new words, she loved that her doll will call her momma. One thing that as a mother amazed me was that this doll sometimes will get fuzzy and my daughter would pick her up and calm her down. Another of my favorite things was giving her food, if she didn't want her food she would turn her face the other way.
One thing that I found interesting is that you can choose your language from english to french, and choose if you want her to say momma or dadda.
I definitely would buy at least 3 more luva bella dolls for Christmas, this doll
Is just wonderful, my daughter is really happy. Since I am pregnant at the moment, my daughter is learning so much with this doll and also excited to care for her baby brother as she care for her beautiful doll. I highly recommend you to get one for that special little someone in your life, is worth every penny.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My daughter likes playing with her new interactive Luvabella doll she gets plenty of play time out of her without getting bored. First, off it takes 4 C batteries that are not included. They are placed in the back which is then secured by screws I do admit it was a little hard opening the first time but for my child's safety, I am okay with that. Above the battery compartment, you will see 2 switches the first switch is the on/off switch which has two settings which control the sound. I am ecstatic about that as sometimes you would like to control how loud the volume of a toy is. The second switch is the language. The baby is a little heavy due to the weight of the batteries. The doll also comes with interactive items such as a bottle, pacifier, feeding spoon and toy. Different interactions cause her to react differently and the more interaction the more advanced she becomes. She started off cooing as you would expect a baby to and in time we have noticed she is speaking more clearly and lets you know what she wants. I feel she is very well made and thought out. My daughter usually plays with a doll then moves on to other toys pretty quickly, however, days later she is still playing with her Luvabella which says a lot. She is entertained by the interactions. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has kids that enjoy playing with dolls. I was one of those people who looked at the price and thought could a doll be worth it and let me tell you this one is! We are very glad to be able to test out this doll and I will be looking into purchasing the other two models as well.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We received this beautiful doll free of charge to review. She’s so well made, and so much fun!! My 4 yr old niece is over the moon with her. After having her for a few days she begins to interact more and more with your little one as she gets to know her more! She’s incredibly well made but you do have to treat her like a real baby. She loves playing peekaboo, loves being tickled and fed. It’s adorable hearing her say mama, or dada and your little one will love it. She moves her arms, and legs, burps, and says a lot of gibberish as well as actual words. She does require 4 C batteries and as long as you purchase good batteries they will last a long time. She seems to learn your little ones voice and reacts to it like a really baby would when hearing its mommy. She’s a little heavy which says it’s very well made and her bow and outfit are adorable. I would say this doll is perfect for ages 3 and up to 8-9 years old, and even older if your little one loves dolls. My niece takes her everywhere in her own carseat, stroller and we’re waiting on the original Luvabella diaper bag with diapers, and outfit. My niece adores her and Luvabella has turned into her favorite doll. She’s absolutely worth the price and it’s a perfect birthday present. I think everyone falls in love with her once you see all adorable things she does. You really have to see for yourself all the fun and adorable things she does. We have a very happy, and excited 4 year old that cannot put her Luvabella down. She even sleeps with her. We’re so thankful for this opportunity as this doll is really one of a kind. She’s a great gift if you’re having a little one to make your older little one feel included and like she’s a mommy too. You won’t regret purchasing her when you see your little ones face!!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this product for free from Family Rated as as a product test to give my 100% honest feedback.
From the moment the batteries were inserted into “Baby” which was the name my child named her baby, you will see the natural parenting instincts in your child come alive. The baby doll comes with a bottle, binky and spoon which also has interactive abilities that makes your child feel like the baby is really alive.
My child loves that the baby talks and makes noises, she finds this so amusing. She even has started trying to talk back in complete sentences which I find a very great educational tool for a doll to have. The fact that you can tickle the baby and it reacts cracks my child up. She wants everyone to try ticking her doll or she makes her doll tickle us.
Another thing I love is how the doll plays peek a boo. This is a great game that kept my child entertained and even she began to play the game with family in real life. This doll is really giving social skills that we’ve tried to give but she never was interested in until this doll.
My daughter is never alone when she has “Baby”. With so much interactive functionality, she has a friend to keep her imagination fulfilled and her boredom rate has gone to almost nothing. She constantly has her baby with her and is involved in whatever she is doing. I love that LuvaBella brought back imagination and play versus sitting in front of a tv or video.
I do wish it came with a tiny storage or diaper bag for the accessories. Other than that I cannot find one thing wrong with this doll & I looked for anything in order to give an honest, fair & reliable review for consumers because I’m a regular parent just like you. When we spend our money, we don’t want defects or things that make a product not worth the money.
I hope this review helped! From one parent to another :)

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I gave this to my 3-year-old niece Amelia as an early Christmas gift and she LOVES IT (calls it her baby melia..)! When I watched her interact with her "baby", I noticed that this doll is very active she babbles she talks, she cries, she sings, she eats with her plastic bottle, plastic spoon and sucks her "binky" when she cries. She makes sounds that a baby makes. The material that covers her head is a very soft material (like a rubbered silicone).. but different from the body (more of a heavy duty plastic). I loved that the more you play with her the more active she gets. She has creeped me out a time due to the fact that if you do not turn her off when not in use ( have to open her back where that batteries go) or the baby doll will continue to keep going (lol, just like a real baby). This baby doll takes "4" C cell batteries required (not included). I do wish though wish that she came with a charger having to continually buy batteries kind of stinks!!! I have already replaced the batteries once since giving this to my niece, but realize now that when she isn't playing with it...I turn it off. My niece knows when to ask to turn it on...says please wake my baby up...lol! (she smart for a 3-year-old, even though it says that it isn't for children under the age of 4). I hope that the batteries last a little longer this time. It does tend to get a little dirty when being played with, the face seems to allow dust and hair to stick to it due to the silicone material. If needed to be cleaned, I just take a warm baby wash-cloth with a little mild liquid soap from the bathtub (like baby soap that a human would use on a real baby)..do not use the kitchen liquid soap, or bar soap to potent to use. I did have to fix the headband (simple sew) my Niece removed it and the band tore in half. Other than the few flaws, I (and my niece) love this doll and with great supervision, highly recommend for little girls that want to express their love an affection to their little babies (or there pretend baby siblings).

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The amount of things this baby doll does is amazing and her interaction with my 4 yr old is fascinating. Every adult who has seen our doll has said it is terrifying and creepy, but my 4 yr old and twin 2 yr olds LOVE her. The 4 yr old was stand-off-ish at first, but quickly warmed up to the doll. I really expected all my kids to be afraid of the doll, but they weren't. My kids' favorite thing to do is feed her. The number one rule in the doll's instruction booklet is to not force the spoon or bottle accessories into the doll's mouth, but that is the one thing my kids want to do with this doll. Surprisingly, the doll hasn't broken yet. The doll comes with 4 accessories, but we have already lost one of them. They are small and they don't attach to the doll in any way. The doll does have functions/games she does without the accessories, but losing them all would make this doll a lot less fun. The gear sound of the doll's moving head and arms is really loud, so loud, you can't always understand or hear what the doll is saying. The doll's "baby talk" is too unclear to understand, my 4 yr old constantly yells at the doll saying, "what did you say?" I also don't like that the doll sometimes says things like "I don't like this" or turns head away from the bottle. When a 4 yr old is playing with a doll, I feel like the doll should be ready to do whatever the 4 yr old wants the baby to do. Maybe a little too life-like when the user is a 4 yr old. The feeling of the doll's face and head is weird, kind of a sticky rubber feeling. Despite the cons I listed, this doll is still pretty amazing. My 4 yr old will play with her for about 30 minutes before getting tired of her, which isn't as long as I would expect, I think a lot of it is because the doll is hard to understand and doesn't always want the bottle, etc. One of my 2 yr olds, however, plays with this doll for just about the entire amount of playtime we have. She loves all dolls, and just squeals happiness with this doll especially. I understand why this doll isn't intended for 2 yr olds, but it is worth mentioning that some 2 yr olds will like it and haven't broken it yet. I recommend parents read the instruction booklet before giving the doll to your kid. There are a lot of little features to teach your kid to do. Knowing how to tickle the doll and have her say Mama/Dada is really exciting for my kids. My only complaint would be when I received our doll, she had missing paint spots on her head where the hair is at the top, other than that , its an impressive doll!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My 5 year old daughter had mixed feelings about the Luvabella interactive baby doll. Her first impression was sheer excitement about the doll being able to talk and learn new words, as well as the fact that it had brown skin and eyes and a tan skin tone just like she does. Unfortunately, once the Luvabella was out of the box she was not as excited as expected because the doll was "hard and the skin on her head felt funny." Despite, the disappointment with the feel of the doll she couldn't wait to see the doll in action.
After many days of playing, we discovered that there are several pro as well as some cons to the Luvabella baby doll, a list of each us below.
Pros:
- Repeated play increases the
vocabulary and interactions of the doll.
My daughter loves that every time she
plays with Luvabella something new
happens.
- She has an off switch which allows you
to help prolong the life of the
batteries.
- The language can switched back and
forth, by a switch, between English and
French and my 5 year old loves the
idea of learning words in a new
language.
- The movements and weight of the doll
are both lifelike, which is something
that made my daughter feel like it was
more realistic than alternatives.
- The ability to adjust the volume is a
fantastic feature that is simple enough
for my child to use so that she's able
to have quieter play sessions.
- Having all of the accessories create
different reactions and increase the
vocabulary and interactions of the doll
is by far one my daughter's favorite
things about Luvabella.
Cons:
- The entire body of the doll is hard
which disappointed my daughter
because she wanted to snuggle her
new baby doll.
- The directions say to only feed the
spoon to the doll when it tells you 2
phrases (it took 2 says of play before
either phrase was said). This is highly
disappointing for my child who wants
to be able to try everything out right
away and then be able to feed her
baby when she wants.
- The rubbery skin on the head and face
of the doll was something that my
daughter just didn't like. She said it
felt funny and everything seems to
stick to it (pet fur, lint, ect.).
- It was also difficult to hear the
heartbeat and together the doll to
laugh when you tickled her tummy.
- The last con is that the hair of the doll
is made from the same rubbery
material as the rest of the head. My
daughter said she wished that she had
hair more like a real babies.
Overall the Luvabella doll is a great interactive doll that could use a few minor improvements. My daughter enjoys playing with this doll and us eager to show it off to everyone that comes over. I recieved this doll for free in exchange for my review, but can say after looking at her price in terms of value and quality that for everything this doll can do it is worth the higher price point and I would recommend this doll to others.
