Strong scent, awful rash but goes on smooth/light
I was so excited to try this because Hydro Boost moisturizer is great. But within an hour of putting it on, it gave me a terrible, burning rash.
Good thing I tested only in a small area. It was such a nice texture too - I even thought it was my favourite sunscreen texture ever for that first hour lol (hence the two stars since it could work for others).
Pros: it goes on light, not as greasy as other sunscreens
Cons: DEFINITELY patch test as it’s not for everyone, strong scent if you’re sensitive

SO lightweight!
I have been using this for a while now and I love it for the most part. It is very lightweight, does not feel too oily and did not give me break outs despite being acne prone! The ingredients are also pretty great and I am impressed overall! And it is super affordable so I don't feel guilty applying a lot to ensure I have the best sun protection possible.
However, it REALLY stings my eyes and does not stay in place. I do my best to keep it away from my eyes but it migrates into my eyes mid way through the day. I am not sure if it's from sweating or what, but unfortunately that is the one reason I would not repurchase. I can't have my eyes stinging all day!
But if it becomes reformulated to not migrate and sting eyes while still keeping the same base of great ingredients-I would be the first one to buy it!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I recieved the NEUTROGENA HYDRO BOOST WATER GEL SUNSCREEN SPF 50 for free through ChickAdvisor. I received this sample during the Canadian winter, which does not require much sunscreen as the sun is out a limited amount and it is still cold so going outside isn’t an often occurrence, so I do not know the SPF qualities. The texture is cream-like and blends in quickly with a soft texture left on the skin, the fingers however have a slight starchy or sticky texture left behind after rubbing the product in. The fragrance is of typical sunscreen and is very strong, it also lingers after some time.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I actually used this as my moisturizer for a few days and I also applied it to my two year old son. It says it is safe for kids as well which you don't find on some products like this. I love how controversial it makes the product because it means i only have to buy one sun screen instead of one for me and one for him. I would pay the money for this just for the hydrating properties and the scent! I love the aloe scent and when i applied it to my sons arms he couldn't stop smelling himself HAHA! Not oily and even though we couldn't test it in the sun, it is indeed water resistant! Great stuff!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) After receiving this for free to test I used it daily instead of my usual brand. I am a very fair skinned woman. I tend to burn very easily and require a sunscreen every day.
Scent wasn’t terrible. Was tolerable.
Overall texture was slightly more watery than I like for my sunscreen but definitely not a deal breaker.
I didn’t have any reaction to the product and didn’t seem to burn when I was out in the sun. It did leave my skin feeling more hydrated even after washing it off .
The real test will be when there are stronger UV rays during the warmer months. I will keep using it to see.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I enjoyed using Neutrogena’s hydro boost water gel sunscreen. I got it free from
Chickadvisor!
I really enjoyed using the sunscreen because it was lightweight and absorbed quickly into my skin. Often, sunscreens leave your skin feeling greasy or take forever to rub in, but not neutrogena’s hydro boost water gel sunscreen.
It provides great protection from the harmful UV rays and I didn’t feel like I was wearing sunscreen. It was such an enjoyable product to use!
I definitely plan on buying more for our upcoming trip down south and I will definitely be recommending it to friends and family!

I love how lightweight this sunscreen is,and how quickly it absorbs! It was really unique from anything I have tried, I just wish I had a better opportunity to test it out. It's been so rainy and snowy here so it's hard to tell how effective it is, but I will update this once I have ample time to try the spf factor! Regardless, I love the feel of this on my skin. It didn't feel greasy or sticky- literally resembles a moisturizer more than a sunscreen, which is a nice change. The price is pretty comparable to other sunscreens too. So for now, I do recommend this sunscreen!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this item for free from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club in exhange for my honest review.
I was very let down my this sunscreen.
I had high hopes for it after trying the normal face cream but was far from impressed. It felt very heavy on my skin and made it feel more oily than hydrated. It felt that way most of the day.
Also, don't get it anywhere near your eye! I must have gotten some a little too close and it really burned. It wasn't even a whole lot and my eye was bothered all day even after trying to flush it out.
Definitely not buying this one in the future.
