(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this in a beauty box along with the conditioner. I now use this combo the first few weeks after colouring my hair. I find it prolongs the brightness of the color and it makes my hair very silky. The shampoo is a bit watery so be careful when first using it; I lost some down the drain. So now I put some in my palm and apply it to wet hair, add a bit of water and apply a second palm full and that is sufficient for my just past should length hair. The fragrance is very pleasing.

I love to color my hair red and usually that fades away in a couple washes when a regular shampoo is used but with this awesome smelling Nexxus colour Assure shampoo not only does my hair smell fabulous but it also stays brightly coloured longer .Also now thankfully I do not encounter straw like strands !!Viola magically my hair ends up being very very soft !!woo hoo !

So I got another free sample of this and yeah I wanted to see if this product would work for colored hair because I started to dye my hair back in February of this year, so I was curious and used it. I also find that not only did this not make my hair smooth and nice but it also made my hair more dry. I would not buy this and I am happy I was able to sample this before trying.

I thought it was ok, but i have used better. A little fragrant for my liking but over all not horrible. The thing about products like is how do you really know if it helps retain the color? I can't say one way or another if it helped sadly

I loved how it brought out the colour in my hair and left my hair feeling clean, healthy, and happy. A definite go to for any girls with colour treated hair who are looking for an affordable high quality hair product!

The ingredients are really harsh (the ammonium sulfates are the worst!), and it just left my hair feeling dry and horrible. I also hated the smell. I honestly couldn't find anything that I liked about this shampoo!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Love Nexxus Colour Assure Shampoo, bit pricey though. Lathers well, works on my oily hair and doesn't dry out my colour treated locks. I love the smell, but wish the bottle was easier to open. It lasted about average compared to my regular shampoo. The results were minimal, but I do think it made my coloured red hair stay red longer.

Everything about this shampoo is a luxurious event! It keeps my red hair bright, shiny and red red, and helps to resist fade. Lovely scent. Priced average to a bit pricey but well worth it. Will for sure buy again!
