we bought this brush in rose gold colour and the metal shaft on handle is very loose and the thing has a mind of its own meaning sometimes it just cuts out in middle of brushing your teeth .

Like a trip to the dentist.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This brush has the ability to sync with the Oral-B app while you brush your teeth. Your phone instructs you through the setup and there's also a manual with instructions. It's fairly straightforward. The app is useful for keeping track of your brushing habits (length of time, too much pressure etc.), it's essentially a coach for brushing your teeth. The brush can be used without the app, which I ended up doing. I find it a hassle to use the app every time brush my teeth. The lighted portion of the brush turns red when you use to much pressure, and the brush vibrates every 30 second, about the amount of time you spend on each quadrant of your mouth. The brush has various modes including whitening, sensitive, tongue brushing and flossing. The brush also comes with a charging travel case and a stand up charger. The brush holds a charge pretty well. The brush itself gives a better clean than a manual brush, without as much effort. My teeth felt awesome after using it, like I'd been to a dentist! I guess it reaches little nooks and crannies better. I'm hooked on electric brushes now!

Squeaky clean

I was very excited to try it but the battery only lasted a minute so I set the brush on the charger dock for the night!
Come morning-it was all charged up and ready to spin!
Even though I have yet to play with all the settings, I did enjoy my first spin!
I did learn pretty fast to make sure the brush was in my mouth first before turning it on-I painted my mirror with tooth paste! Oops
Oral b has really upped their game with this model! My teeth felt so clean! Just like stepping out of the dentist office (minus the gross gritty tooth paste dentists used). This was a huge bonus!
I have a problematic area where food gets stuck in a gap between my teeth. Usually I have to floss, which hurts as the area is super sensitive. My oral b genius 8000 allowed me to change the setting to a lower one while brushing this area. It worked so well that I didn't need to floss that spot right after brushing, like I normally would!
I have 40 hours of midnight shifts coming up! I plan on reading up on all the other features this tooth brush offers!

Fantastic!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was beyond excited to be assigned this mission, as it is my first ever electric toothbrush.
The packaging is extremely appealing, it also gives you a lot of information. Unfortunately I do not at the moment own a cell phone, and so far have not been able to try those aspects of the brush.
After testing this product for 9 days (using each of the three brushes for three days), I believe that everyone should have one of these. I have tried battery-operated brushes in the past, but they are far inferior to this brush.
I loved the choice of brushes, each with a different purpose. Even though I found the Sensitive brush brush head to be a little small (you might have to put toothpaste on it twice), I found it was also good for reaching the rear teeth, also for someone like me who has very small teeth.
Also, the handle is wonderful, as it is easy to grip with less of a chance of dropping it. The pamphlet warned of possible bleeding with the first few uses, but I did not experience that.
Finally, this is day 10 and I have not had to recharge it yet. I love this product.

Oral-B-Lifechanger
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've been using the Oral-B Genius 8000 for about 1.5 weeks now. I've never felt teeth this clean before using this toothbrush. Before using this toothbrush I would floss and then use my manual toothbrush, and I thought my mouth felt clean after that. With the Genius 8000 and the Oral B app, I've been regularly timing my brushing, hitting the 2 minute mark every time I brush. The different brush settings are very appealing too. My most used settings are the tongue and regular brush setting. The pressure sensor is useful as well for determining when too much pressure is being applied to the tooth and gums. My partner has begun using toothbrush as well (with a different attachable head of course), and he enjoys it as well! I'm still learning how to use the app, since I don't always have my phone with me. The brush works perfectly without the app, but I don't get the statistics and position detection without it. Overall, I feel that this toothbrush will continue to improve my partner's and my oral health. I would highly recommend to anyone who would like to improve their oral hygiene habits.

Like a visit to the dentist
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I waited for two weeks before posting this review even though I was extremely pleased with the results after day #1!
Using the app - I did the two week whitening program. My teeth have never been so clean, and are definitely whiter.
The only way to describe how clean my teeth are is to state that everytime I use this brush I feel like I just left the dentist.
It stops when I'm incorrectly positioning the brush, and has been great for my sensitive gums (no bleeding). It gets into the hard to reach areas.
I also traveled during my program, and I love the added cell phone holder on the travel case. It's a great size for traveling.
The best part for me - my 11 year old loves the brush and app! I no longer need to nag her to brush her teeth! She's competing with herself, and the app sends her reminders! Her dentist was very impressed! This alone is priceless for me!
Is it worth the cost??? YES!!!!
This morning I used a normal toothbrush and my teeth just don't feel clean. This toothbrush has redefined what clean teeth are to me!
It will forever be a staple in my household. I'll never go back to a standard brush again!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Oral B Genius 2000 is quite the toothbrush. I was floored by how much detail was put into this and how much was in the package. From chargers to travel chargers, extra brush heads this toothbrush has it all.
I had never used or purchased and electric toothbrush before this one so I was a little skeptical at first.
It has a bit of a learning curve to use at first as you don't have to use so much pressure as you would with a manual toothbrush. Once I got the hang of it, it was amazing.
My teeth have never felt so clean. As they say a dentist clean. Feels like I just cam back from a professional cleaning every day.
My husband was curious as well and we got him some extra brush heads to use and he was blown away by how well this worked!
I have been using it everyday for about a month and my teeth and my mouth feel so much cleaner. The toothbrush is so easy to use. I honestly regret not getting an electric toothbrush sooner.
I can't wait until June to go to my dentist and see the difference this brush has made in my oral hygiene.
I would highly recommend this brush to anyone. It does all of the work for you!!

A Genius & Bluetooth smart electric toothbrush!

Be honest, I seldom use an electric toothbrush before trying Oral-B Genius rechargeable 8000 toothbrush, it changes my thought of electric toothbrush totally! This Bluetooth-connected smart toothbrush that uses the Oral-B App to seamlessly pair with my smartphone and I am on my way to brushing my teeth like my dentist does. The toothbrush provides 6 modes to customize my personal needs, and the package offers 3 different brush heads can be used for different precision cleaning. I use the smart phone holder to mount my smartphone securely on the mirror and use my toothbrush to connect to my smartphone. Connected with the Oral-B App., it really makes my 2 -minute teeth brushing time become enjoyable, the timer counts my 2 minutes time and while in this 2 minutes, I can watch the news, healthy tips, weather from the phone screen while brushing my teeth, this 2 minutes is a new treat for me! It does help me thoroughly clean my teeth comfortably and develop a better habit of brushing teeth for me. The another charging travel case is also very convenient to be used. I will switch my toothbrush to this smart one and would like to recommend it to all!

An amazing toothbrush

To be perfectly honest when I first started reading the features of this toothbrush I was a bit taken back at the fact that it synced with my cellphone. I thought to myself " really? That seems strange!" But the second I set it up and tried it I couldn't get over how I actually thought it was a great feature! This toothbrush comes with many great features! First I love how it comes with specific heads that are different types of cleaning and they have their own settings! Which who doesn't love a specific cleaning! Second, you get everything you could possibly need and more in the package! A travel case with built in charger AND USB plug in, what! A cell mount for your mirror, great! Also a storage for your extra toothbrush heads. Of course the most important thing is the functionality of this product, which is actually amazing. I was never a big fan of power toothbrushes but this one changed my opinion completely. It truly gives a powerful clean and can be used with sensitive teeth which is a real bonus. The app is an extra bonus in itself. I love that you can customize the colour of the toothbrush and all in all it's a well built app!

It really does make a difference
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) When I first got Oral-B Genius 8000 Electric Rechargeable Toothbrush Powered by Braun, I thought to myself this toothbrush is a bit crazy who needs all these features, yet I was excited to give it a go.
I had trouble installing the app at first after I got my tech savvy fiancé involved, I was off and running.
When you start up the toothbrush it's quite a bit louder than you would expect however, it has some really cool features, for instance position detection which helps you hold the brush at the right angle so that you know you are getting the best cleaning for your teeth. It also has a pressure sensor that tells you if you are brushing to hard, which I am 100% guilty of. It also lets you know if you have brushed for the right amount of time, all important thing when it come to having pearly whites. The app has programmed routine and goals in which you can reach.
I took a really long time to write this review because I wanted to give myself a lot of time to learn the ins and out of this toothbrush and see the full results.
What I can tell you is my teeth are cleaner, whiter and less sensitive thanks to this brush, I don't think I'll be going back to a manual tooth brush anytime soon.

Engaging and Fresh New Take on Brushing
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Lets start out by saying that this is a very cool toothbrush. When you think toothbrushes, cool doesn't came to mind until this toothbrush. First and foremost, does this product clean my teeth, the answer to that is YES and it does it quite well too.
Pros:
- Elegant looks and feels expensive
- Fun colour changing ring
- Feels solid and will last a long, long time
- Bluetooth provides activities to help clean teeth
- Pressure sensor lets you know if you're brushing too hard
- Teeth feels clean after every brushing session
- Travel case feels solid and expensive
- Oral B app on IPhone works flawlessly
- "Journeys" to Cleaner/Whiter/Brighter/Fresher teeth and mouth are a fun way to engage user
- Keeps track of how user brushes and how often
Cons:
- Brush heads feels a bit big in the mouth compared to another brands
- Spin action doesn't seem very strong compared to another brands
- Colour of brush head is white, while the body of the toothbrush is black. The colour mis-match makes it look sort of cheap
- Wish it had options to choose different user profiles so I could share the toothbrush with others in the family
Overall I really like this toothbrush. If I could choose 3.5 stars, I would.

Toothbrushing warrior
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was super excited to receive this toothbrush to test. I'm big on having clean teeth and knowing I'm brushing correctly each time makes me feel great about it.
This toothbrush is super neat, it gives you different settings for people like myself who want a deep clean, but also for those who need that extra gentle touch.
Love how it's connected to an app that actually tracks your progress and with its guidance shows you areas to brush and focus on while letting you know if your putting too much pressure on your teeth and sending you a notification to your phone to remind you of it.
The downfall to this toothbrush is that you must remain in front of your phone screen. If you veer off even slightly it stops recording your progress, or records a different area of your teeth you haven't even touched. Sensors are very sensitive.
For someone like me who likes to watch myself in the mirror it took some getting use to staying in front of the camera and honestly find this feature a little annoying as it leads to overbrushing.
Overall though my teeth get an amazing deep clean and truly feel this has made me more aware of my brushing habits and am excited to continue using it, I just need some getting use to.

Awesome Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush

I love how far technology has actually gone that you can actually see how clean your teeth are by using the app while brushing your teeth. I have tried a cheaper electric toothbrush before and there is no comparison at all. This tooth brush is hands down far more superior. Every time I brush my teeth with this electric tooth brush I feel like I just came from having my teeth cleaned, that's how amazing this toothbrush is. The app is very easy to use and it helps you see where you need to brush more. I love the travel case that comes with a built in phone charger. This will be great for when I go on vacation. I also love the fact that the charger has a covered place for you to store the toothbrush heads so they aren't exposed to any dust or stuff that may be in the air. I like to keep my toothbrush covered and this allows me to. The phone holder that suctions to the mirror is great for getting a great view of your teeth while brushing them. I am very happy with this toothbrush. I will be purchasing more toothbrush heads in the future when needed and will be using this toothbrush for many years. I highly recommend this Oral-B Genius 8000 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush.

Like being at the dentist
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) After a month of using the Oral B Genius 8000... I can say I am impressed! The value for the clean feel return is impressive. It's like leaving the dentist after a regular check up...every day!
I'll admit, the cost seems extreme. However, the value, quality and visible results have proven to be worthwhile.
I won't use the app. It's not for this busy working mom of 3! I tried it, but there was no new value in it for me.
What the app is good for is to let you know if you're applying too much pressure when brushing. This helped my husband, and would be a great tool for teaching kids.
My husband uses one of the toothbrush heads, and he was hooked right away. I have noticed that coffee stains on his teeth have faded (and he has visited the dentist!) -super impressed. He was more hyped on this toothbrush than I was at first! This toothbrush helps him brush better (even without the app).
What I like are all of the different settings on the handle of the brush.. though I don't fidget too much with the buttons. It took a day or two to get used to the weight of the handle, and to turn it off before rinsing (a sensor would be nice, to know only to turn on in dark places!)
My favourite post Christmas gift. Very practical and overall a great investment for my teeth!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Oral-B Genius 8000 Electric Rechargeable Toothbrush is a complete game changer. I honestly never expected to notice such a major difference between a typical manual toothbrush and a high end electric toothbrush, but I was wrong.
PROS:
- The design of this product along with the carrying case and base stand is just great. Very high quality material and just overall very sleek looking
- The functionality of this tooth brush is superb. the customizable SmartRing provides different types of feedback from the pressure sensor, brushing timer and Bluetooth connection which is pretty unique.
- The design of the toothbrush heads and the different brush modes provide a truly superior way to brush. After just a few weeks of brushing with this toothbrush, I have notice a significant improvement.
CONS:
- My only one negative comment is regarding the bluetooth connectivity. Although this function does work very well, I juts find it a bit pointless. It's a fun idea to be able to track toothbrushing stats and use the Position Detection technology. However, it's not practical to have to take out my phone every single time I brush my teeth. After a day or two, I just stopped using this function.
Overall, I am very impressed with this toothbrush and would highly recommend to anyone in the market for an electric toothbrush!!

Amazing results

I probably would not have tried it had I not got the chance through BuzzAgent as the price tag is a little high for me. Thank you for the opportunity. I have been using the toothbrush for a little over a week now and can't believe how clean my teeth feel, I would swear I just left the dentist it works so well. From the moment I opened the box I was impressed. The box includes the manual, Bluetooth toothbrush, three different heads, traveling case, charger, a phone holder, and a cupon for brush heads. The brush itself has six different brushing modes including Daily Clean, Pro Clean, Sensitive, 3D White, Gum Care, and Tongue Clean. I highly suggest trying out all the modes as I was surprised how well they all worked. The app is easy to download and although I wondered why anyone would need a Bluetooth toothbrush I find this function very useful. The app lets you know if you have brushed long enough, tells you if your applying to much pressure, and reminds you to floss, brush your tongue, and rinse. I love the black sleek look of the brush itself and I highly recommend this product. The only reason I didn't give a five star rating is the price of the brush makes it a little to expensive for most people to afford.

Not your average toothbrush
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have to admit, I'm not a huge fan of electric toothbrushes. My wife had gotten me one before and I just didn't like it at all as I felt it didn't leave my mouth feeling very clean. So when I got the Oral B Genius 8000 I was sceptical but willing to try it out.
The box it comes in is very visually appealing. It gives it a fancy effect and gives a lot of details about what the brush does. The box came with everything needed for the toothbrush. I thought the light up effect (it comes in multiple colours) was pretty cool.
I tried the toothbrush and was pleasantly surprised by the results. I felt the brush did adequately clean my teeth and mouth, this was probably due to the Pro Clean setting. I enjoyed the fact that the brush had other setting as well like: gum care, tongue clean and daily clean to name a few.
The toothbrush is very advanced and has other features which are pretty cool. It tells you how long to brush, what areas you need to reach better and at what angle is needed to get a better clean. All of this info can be viewed on the handy phone app.
Its also useful to know that the brush is compatible with other heads and can be travelled with
Now that I have used this product, its likely that I will not go back to a manual brush. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking at purchasing an electric toothbrush

Not only are my teeth the cleanest they have ever felt I personally LOVE the fact that it comes with 3 different toothbrush heads so that you can find the one that best suits your needs (Cross action brush head, Floss action brush head and Sensitive brush head). You also get a charging travel case which is AWESOME! So it makes it super easy to take your electric toothbrush with you! Let's also talk about the app, Oral-B has a phenomenal app that lets you know REAL TIME what your brushing technique is like as well as keeping a log so you can keep track of how your brushing has been going. I love the fact that this toothbrush also has different brushing modes (unlike a lot of other electronic toothbrushes) you have your choice between Daily clean - which is standard for day to day cleaning, Pro Clean- which operates at a higher frequency for a more high powered clean (I like this one the best), Sensitive- for a gentle yet thorough clean, 3D White- Polishing for occasional use or everyday, Gum Care- gentil massage of gums and Tounge Clean- Tounge cleaning for everyday use. Also there is a ring around the top of the toothbrush which lights up if you are brushing too hard! This toothbrush is absolutely worth the investment my teeth seriously feel just as good as when I get them cleaned at the dentist which is a first for any toothbrush to reproduce the effect for me. Try it out, you won't be sorry!

Great to polish teeth

First let me start off by saying this is the first time I try an electric toothbrush and as I was born with rhumatoid arthritis, my jawbones did not fully grow normally and therefore my teeth are not alligned properly. I am still in the process of trying the different modes and brushes and getting used to little things like not forgetting to stop the toothbrush before taking it out of my mouth (I've splashed my mirror and clothes a million times LOL) but overall, I'm really impressed with the way it polishes and whitens my teeth. I'm having a hard time though reaching inside or between my teeth to dislodge small pieces of food, the light signal on the toothbrush keeps turning red indicating it seems I'm brushing too hard... Still trying to figure this part out... (Maybe it's because of my crooked teeth?) The toothbrush also comes with a bunch of accessories, some of them for a smart phone which I don't own and therefore would not use. There is a small charger you can use in your bathroom which does not take too much counter space (a definite plus) and has a case to store up to four brushes. It also includes a travel case that allows you to store the toothbrush and two brushes and allows you to charge the toothbrush on the go. That's going to come in handy for sure. I will definitely continue using my Oral-B Genius toothbrush and continue trying all the different modes but will keep a manual tootbrush on the side, just in case...

AMAZING PERFORMANCE!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I LOVE the Braun Oral B 8000 Genius toothbrush! Here are some of the reasons why:
1. It has several settings for different modes of brushing: Regular clean, professional clean, whitening, sensitive, massage, and tongue. I have sensitive teeth so I use the sensitive setting but I have used all the settings to compare, and I find that no matter what setting I use, my teeth and mouth feel so clean-actually better than when I get my cleaning done at the dentist.
2. Since I started using this toothbrush (about a week now), my gums and teeth are far less sensitive than they were when I was using a manual toothbrush. You can’t put a price on that!
3. It has a setting that alerts you when it is time to move on to the next quadrant, and it also lets you know when you are brushing too hard. I have never had this happen because this toothbrush is so powerful, I just have to touch the brush head to my teeth to get a good clean.
4. The handle is waterproof so I can clean it under running water after each use.
5. Any Oral B replacement head will work with this unit, and they have a fantastic variety available.
6. The handle is Bluetooth ready for the Oral B app, which has some great features to help you use the toothbrush.
7. It comes with a travel case that has a usb port in it for charging, so I can take my Braun Oral B 8000 Genus to the trailer with me on weekends!
I don’t think I can ever go back to a manual toothbrush!

The Best Brushing Experience I have Had

As a kid I really did not brush my teeth much, and after years of hating the act of brushing at all (and enjoying all the soft drinks/coffee I have consumed) my teeth became pretty yellow. I never brushed for the 2 minutes that I should have. Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I forgot my toothbrush on a vacation: I tried using my girlfriends Oral-B electric toothbrush with a new head on it...I actually enjoyed it and brushed for the full 2 minutes! As soon as we got back from our vacation I got the newest model in that series of toothbrushes. I was blown away by how clean my teeth were feeling, and looking! I enjoy brushing my teeth so much now that I look forward to my next brush. The feeling that you get after every brush is much like the feeling after a dentists office; you certainly feel very clean for a long time after. Speaking of dentists: I have very sensitive gums but I find that any of these heads do not bother my gums at all. You just want to have a large open-mouth smile more often, as you can see in my photo of myself.
There is only one issue and it is that the app doesn't always work flawlessly, but when it does it is a great way to provide you with information on your cleaning skills.
I cannot imagine a better feeling toothbrush at all...this has completely converted me into an Oral-B Electric Toothbrush user for life. I recommend this product very much to anyone considering upgrading their dental health with the best toothbrush!

Works great!

I love the electric toothbrush itself. It works great. I like the several different options it has like the regular pressure, sensitive teeth pressure, tongue cleaning, etc. I love that this comes with three different brush heads as well. It would be nice though if they labeled what each brush head was labeled as to which one was which. The sensitive teeth option is fairly gentle on a couple of teeth that I've been having issues with. There is a case that comes with it that can hold the different heads while not in use and a spot to basically anchor the charger.
The app is a neat feature and helpful with tips, timers and tracking progress through the week. I don't find the smartphone charger held my phone very well. I have a phone in a wallet style case and it doesn't hold it very well so I probably won't use it very much for monitoring my brushing with the camera on my phone.
The travel case is neat too and I'm able to charge my cell phone at the same time through the case. It's a nice feature.
Overall, I love the toothbrush... not sure if I would use the extra features like monitoring my tooth brushing with the camera. It's a good feature for people that are learning to use the electric toothbrush but probably won't be used much after... the case for holding the extra brush heads is beneficial. I'm looking forward to my next dental visit and what they think.

Oral B Genius is Amazing
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The last time I had a clean teeth feeling is straight after coming from the dentist's office. I've never had a toothbrush that can do what this does and clean like this does. I can't say enough good things about this brush. I absolutely love how it has a timer on it to tell you how long to brush each section of my mouth, although I usually go a bit longer after to ensure that my teeth are as clean as they can be. The multiple settings on the brush are great options, but I usually stick with the sensitive setting with the brush head made for the same purpose. I love how it comes with three brush heads, with the option to buy the others. I thought the handle would be too heavy, because it's so much bigger than a normal brush, but it fits comfortably in my hand and the softer exterior helps keep it comfy. Easy cleaning makes it a breeze for upkeep. I haven't had a chance to use the carrying case, but I was so impressed by the sleek design that I can't wait for an opportunity to use it. I was also impressed that it can charge your phone at the same time. I must admit that the only thing I didn't like was the phone app and I won't be using it. I feel as though it's perfect on it's own without sharing information about my brushing habits with the company. All in all, I hope it never breaks down, because I don't know what I'd do without it. I highly recommend this to anyone that can afford it. I do believe it will save me trips to the dentist in the future...I can't say enough good things about it.

More than just a toothbrush
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) As electric tooth brushes go, the Oral B Genius is top of the line. It not only does a good job of brushing your teeth, it actually teaches you how to do a better job of doing so. This tooth brush syncs with the blue tooth on your cell phone and tracks which quadrant of your mouth you are brushing and how long you spend in each quadrant. The ideal total brushing time is apparently 2 minutes. Easily downloadable app will tell you how you did each time you brush and track your brushing history over time by creating a chart so you can see your progress. The handle comes with 3 different brush heads, each designed for a different purpose. There are also an assortment of other brush heads available so you can find something that is perfect for you. The app can be set up to guide you through a number of different dental hygiene goals.
The brush comes with a lovely travel case that has a slot to support your phone and ports to allow you to charge both your phone and your brush at the same time. The liner of the case can be removed for cleaning and is dishwasher safe. There is another charging stand as sell that comes with a case that will hold up to 4 brush heads.
Even if the novelty wears off, or you get tired of taking the time to affix your phone and a suction cupped holder to a clean mirror morning and night, the Oral B electric tooth brush will still be more than adequate to satisfy your dental cleaning needs.
The only drawback I found was that my phone didn't fit into the holders properly with it's current case on.

Manual Toothbrush? What is that?
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I'm writing this review after using my toothbrush for about a week. The power is serious with this toothbrush and left me with an unreal clean feeling; comparable with the feeling you get right after a teeth cleaning from your hygienist. I have only tried the cross action brush head that it came with as of right now but it does a great job nonetheless. My problem areas are my back teeth, especially the ones on the top (they're wisdom teeth) so naturally I have a harder time cleaning them with a regular toothbrush. Thanks to the Genius 8000 I never have to worry about that anymore which has me very pleased. I really like how you can change the ring colors and monitor your brushing on your phone. The app you download on your phone is comprehensive and easy to use with the added timer and notifications for when to switch sections of your mouth. One thing I did not like however, is the fact that I had to search around on third party websites and reviews to see how I can switch the modes on this toothbrush (from daily clean, massage, teeth whitening, tongue cleaner etc). I tried to search on the Oral B website along with looking in the manual, with no luck. In case anyone is wondering: you have to have the toothbrush *on* when switching through modes (press the down button to do that). Also, make sure the toothpaste is off the brush to avoid a mess! This consideration is a minor con though, not enough to deter me from using it or purchasing another one. Overall this electric toothbrush blows any other toothbrush I have ever used out of the water. I would highly recommend it.

Wow! What a difference.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Oral B Genius 8000 electronic tooth brush is amazing. After using for one day I cannot believe the difference between using my manual toothbrush.
I had used an electronic toothbrush in the past but I don't ever remember it cleaning my teeth so well. My mouth feels like I just came back from the dentist. The new brushes that it came with definitely are effective, and I tried them all to be sure. This brush reminded me of how the smaller head can get into spots my manual can't and worked great on my gums. I found the pressure sensor a very useful feature. I didn't realize that I brushed too hard that often, I really need to work on my technique. I noticed a difference in 5 brushing modes, the Pro Clean is so far my preferred choice.
The only area I have to get used to is the noise. I stay up later than the rest of my family and tend to brush my teeth after everyone is in bed. With that being said, I found it quite loud. I switched back to my manual toothbrush as not to wake any of my light sleepers. This feature may be beneficial as I have to brush earlier, meaning no late night snacks. Who knew a toothbrush could be a weight loss tool.
The Bluetooth feature and the app you can download on your phone are an added bonus. This gives you a better visual of how effectively you are brushing. The Professional timer will come in handy as it gets you to work on each quadrant of you mouth for equal amounts of time. The technology has even piqued the interest of my two tweens but I am not sure that I want to share.
Day one is a success, I cannot wait to see what this toothbrush can do in a week.

I'll never go back to a manual toothbrush
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had the opportunity to use the Oral-B 8000 toothbrush twice daily over the past two weeks. After my experience, I don't think I could go back to using a manual toothbrush!
I have been cautioned by my dentist over the years to stop applying so much pressure when brushing. He recommended a sensitive toothbrush and paste, but I was still having issues with sensitive gums and recession over a couple teeth. He had recommended an Oral-B Electric toothbrush in the past, but I had yet to try one before this experience.
Right out of the box, the Oral-B 8000 is impressive! It has a stylish case to charge the brush and hold the brush heads. The travel case comes with a port to plug in your phone charger, which can be used simultaneously to charging your toothbrush.
The brush has six different cleaning modes - of which I was most partial to the Sensitive option. It also comes with three different brush heads, of which I also prefer the sensitive option. The cleaning mode pulsates when you are to move to a different area of your mouth, encouraging you to brush for a full two minutes.
What did I love? My teeth are SO shiny and clean! They look like they were just cleaned at the dentist. My gums aren't sensitive, and I have no plaque buildup along my gumline.
What didn't I love? While the app was really neat to try, I found that after the first few days I preferred to just use the toothbrush on its own. The pulses every 30 seconds, along with the red light if I am applying too much pressure, helped me to ensure a though clean without the need for the suction cup phone holder on my vanity mirror.
Overall, I absolutely love this toothbrush, and plan to gift one to my husband as well!

It's a little too much
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) When i opened the box to the Oral B Genius 8000, I was excited. I had used electric toothbrushes in the past and really liked them. Once I had unboxed everything, I was confused. There were several pieces included that i had no idea of their purpose. After reading the manuals, i noted that one piece was to stick to a wall/mirror for my smartphone, one was a charging case, then there's all the usual things you would expect from an electric toothbrush.
I tried the toothbrush a couple of times before getting into the app. My teeth felt clean like i had just left the dentist. I like the slim design of the brush and i really liked the sleek carry case that will also charge my toothbrush.
After reviewing the manual a second time, i downloaded the app and used the bluetooth on my phone to sync with the bluetooth in my toothbrush. In my opinion, my toothbrush does not need to be this high tech. Yes, I'm apparently technically a millennial but i really don't enjoy new technology as much as my peers. The app times your brushing, tells you when you brush too hard, saves your data so you can refer to it or share with your dentist. I used the timer several times. It told me i was brushing too hard if i put the tiniest bit of pressure on my teeth. I decided to do what the app told me and i brushed lighter. My teeth felt unclean following the directions. I had to brush again without the guidance. For me, the app wasn't helpful.
Overall, the toothbrush is great. Would it be something i would purchase? No. Would i recommend to a friend? Probably not. Other less expensive toothbrushes do the same thing without having to read a manual before use. I don't think i will continue to reach for this brush. I will stick with my manual brush in the future.

Good Bye Mamual Toothbrush

I happen to be a clean tooth fanatic so I was interested to see the performance of this brush. I love the clean feel of my teeth when I leave the dentists office
I set the brush up and patiently waited for a full charge. I read up on the brush to get an idea of what to expect. The suction for the iPhone on the mirror was pretty cool. The app was easy to use and made me realize that I wasn't spending 2 minutes on my teeth.
I have very sensitive teeth,so the pressure gauge was very helpful to me. I have used a pulsating brush before,but never have felt so dentist clean. My teeth felt like silk and I couldn't help but run my tongue across them, many times.
The brush is light weight and very easy to use. I really like that you can choose your colour ring.
I usually have trouble reaching all my back teeth,but now it is so easy.
My teeth also seem whiter,as some staining was removed from in between my teeth with the brush.
The tongue brushing setting was amazing and made my mouth feel super clean. Tonight I will try the flossing head. The heads are easy to change and the storage case doesn't take up much room. Tomorrow I will go out and buy some more heads for my husband. I can't stop raving about my teeth so he is anxious to try too.
I am looking forward to using the travel case. The fact that I can also charge my phone with it is amazing. I couldn't imagine leaving home without the tooth brush
I feel like I am getting dentist clean every time I brush my teeth.
I have to say I just can't go back to a regular tooth brush.
The manual is straight forward. The app is easy to use, informative and makes brushing fun
I can't wait to hear the comments about my clean teeth on my next dental visit.
