(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I think the spray on the bottle sprays pretty evenly, so I like that. It doesn't make my hair feel greasy either, as some sprays do. I did feel like it was a bit sticky if any of the product landed on the counter or anything else. I also really am not a fan of the smell; it's quite perfume-like and is pretty strong. Even after you blow dry your hair, it's still a bit strong. Not extremely bad, but I can still smell it. I don't think it was necessary to make it smell as strong as it does.

When I received the Pantene Thermal Heat Protection Pre-Styling Spray in my Vox Box I was excited to try because I straighten my hair several times a week and do not use a styling spray. Once my hair was clean and dry I sprayed a light amount of the spray on my hair and used my flat iron as normal. I really liked the smell and found that it worked to help my flat iron work better and straighten my hair faster. I will definitely be buying this product and will recommend it to my friends.

Overall, I really like what this spray does for me and I find that it helps me straighten my hair and also like the texture of my hair after straightening. The reason why I'm giving this product 4/5 is because the spray sometimes solidifies when coming into contact with heat and it ends up leaving fluffy white stuff on my hair which looks like dandruff :( so after I'm done using it, I have to brush out all the white stuff otherwise my hair looks dirty. Really sad about that part :(

It smells really good and is very lightweight (which is great for my long heavy hair). I don't usually use heated styling tools because my hair gets very damaged very easily, but I decided to give this product a shot. Though my hair is still somewhat smooth and hydrated, I can tell it's a bit dry and damaged from the heat. Maybe I'm using it wrong?? I don't know, but I'll continue experimenting with this product.

Long term, many of their products have left a “coating” on my hair for better say, which makes it tangled, dull and more. I decided to give this a try and while I love the smell (as I do with most Pantene products) I didn't mind the heat protection spray. Again, I haven't yet used it long term to say it does the same as other products I've used but so far I'd say it's decent that id likely purchase again.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) First observation is the scent, it's not bad, but I prefer the scent of the Tresemme heat protectant more. To test the product, I used it prior to using hot styling tools 2 days in a row. I can't say it's the best, since my hair is pretty dry now, i know it prevented it from becoming hay from the days I've spent styling without any protectant at all. I think this will be fine for just daily use with just the blow dryer and hot summer days in the sun rather than hot tools.

I was worried that I would require a lot in order to use it appropriately. However I was surprised to find that you don't need a lot to go a long way. It helped to leave my hair shiny and frizzy free after using both a hair dryer and straightener . The scent is nice and also left my hair smelling great. Overall it met my expectations and did exactly what it's supposed to do.

It smells amazing so that is a bonus, I tried it out to curl my hair but though my hair is protected I'm not sure if it's the best option. My hair isn't as shiny as I know it gets when I use ceramic curling irons and it has some frizz which I don't usually have. I curled it two weeks ago without the spray and I had none of these issues. As I said it's a preliminary review, I'm going to try it again but to straighten it and I'll add to this review when I do. So far its been a little over two weeks and the product does help with pre styling my hair. I also noticed it gave a nice shine to my hair after a thorough blowdry. Whether it actually is giving my hair thermal protection, i have no clue... as its only been a couple weeks using this product. I docked a star because i dont like having silicones in my hair which this product contains. All in all, not a bad product. I enjoy the gold coloured packaging, has a luxe feeling to it. I sprayed it on my hair while it was still wet and both blow dried and straightened my hair. I have very thin, fine hair. I also used the Rescue Shots for my roots. I don't usually blow dry my hair, but I can see this working better for someone who does blow dry their hair consistently. I usually use flat irons and curling irons and unfortunately I think this product made my hair feel too wet to use beforehand. I will definitely keep this on hand for when I need to blow dry my hair but will stick with an alternative for day to day heat styling.

I have been using this product since July it’s now end of October. I have frizzy curly hair. It’s hard to tame when it’s humid but this product is fantastic it made my hair really beautiful. I like this product for the mild scent as I have allergies and perfume bothers me. My hair ends up so slick and shiny and no frizz at all. Forgot to mention no dead ends like I had before this protects my split ends very well. I highly recommend you try this. You won’t be sorry.

I have very thick hair and just the sheer weight of it can make it look limp by the end of second day, and this didn't add any extra weight which I liked. It smelled okay, and it protected my hair from heat when I was blow drying and curling my hair. I did receive this free from influenster, but all opinions are mine.

With super short hair the amount of styling product is super small. I did use this on damp hair before a blow dry or a quick spritz when I used the hair straightener. Did the job well for my hair situation - I think I would be a good asset for those who style ever day and with longish hair!

The smell is quite strong and it can clash with the scent of your shampoo/conditioner if you aren't using it from the same range. Not sure if I used it correctly but it did leave a bit of a sticky residue in my hair. If you are looking for a product that is more affordable, this could be a good option however I will continue to explore other options.

My husband calls me Lion King because if that üòÅ I applied the product on damp hair after I showered and blowdried it without a brush. Just straight blowdry back and forth. I think that's what my hair was missing. A good hair protector. My hair was less poofy and looked so good!! I definitely will purchase!!

With treseemes my hair still felt like it was getting damaged. This one makes my hair look not as fried and more silky. The smell is nice too and it doesnt linger so if your sensitive to smells like me that's a good thing to know. I'll have to use it more but for a first impression it was good.

I'm trying to recover from heat damage not apply even MORE heat to my head. So I decided to try this on my rats nest of human hair extensions that I own that are just dry, tattered, split-ends. The scent is lovely, the same as the Pantine Rescue Shots. And my hair extensions seemed to be brought to life a little bit.... it's obviously just a primer but I noticed a bit of a difference in the hair. It was more manageable & softer & it definitely felt less brittle! It wasn't brought back to life or anything, I'd probably have to use the whole Pantine line on the hair. Im going to grab the rescue shots & treat the extensions & then the primer & re-straighten them & REALLY bring this hair back to life!

I spray it on my hair after my shower before I blow dry and straighten my hair and it smells amazing and makes it easier to comb through while drying my hair. Once dried and straightened my hair feels so soft and silky. What a wonderful product. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family and will continue to use it.

This one did not and my hair remained soft and silky...and hopefully protected. I can't speak about the protection yet cause I think I would need to use it over a LONG time to see if I had less damage then usual. It also has a nice light scent.

It's got the signature clean Pantene smell. My hair didn't feel crispy or greasy after using the spray which was amazing. My hair feels soft and great.

Unfortunately this contributes to the dry brittle health of my locks but this product has been a life saver! Compared to other heat protection spray, this specific one made it harder for me to straighten my hair completely. I personally wouldn't buy it, but it's not bad to use. It does its job satisfactory.

The packaging is a nice gold but doesn't really stand out at all. Pantene also isn't a cruelty free company like I'd prefer but if you don't care about that then I'd say it does a good enough job and would recommend it.

I found it protected my hair more than other products have in the past. It lasted for at least the day. I wouldnt expect longer than that. My hair didn't feel sticky like it normally does after using heat spray which was nice.
