ProtectiveClean 4100 is a gentle power toothbrush with a pressure sensor
that protects teeth and gums from excess brushing pressure. The snap-on
Optimal Plaque Control brush head features densely-packed high-quality

plaque vs. a manual power toothbrush. Brush heads wear out over time.
BrushSync technology tracks how long you have been using your brush
head and how hard you have been brushing. It will beep to inform you
when to replace your brush head. The easy-start feature slowly increases
the power of the brush as you get used to the Sonicare experience and
the smartimer encourages a full 2 minutes brushing time as recommended
by your dental professional.
The battery charge indicator light lets you know when it is time recharge; 2 week battery life.

Pressure Feature is Eye (Mouth) Opening
I am already sold on Sonicare™. They are great brushes and ensure my teeth are clean. My dentist, hygienist and specialist all are exceedingly happy with the cleanliness of my teeth. (Especially my hygienist)
I used different types of electric toothbrushes over the last 8 years. It never occurred to me that I might be pushing too hard to obtain the maximum benefit from the bristles.
This is the first one I tried with the pressure feature. Sonicare™ bristles only need a light touch to work -much lighter than I thought.
It was worth getting a new toothbrush to find out how hard/light to brush and still get the great Sonicare clean.

Far more quiet!!
This model operates better than my previous Sonicare model HX681A that was exceedingly noisy from the beginning and wobbled in just over a year. The stem on this model does not wobble. I prefer the brush head on the other toothbrush. Both models are the same in that I cannot remove the brush head to clean beneath. The best model I ever had was the discontinued Series E which allowed easier removal of the brush head. But the sonicare toothbrush gives me a superior clean of my teeth and gums as my dental hygienist has always complemented my low level of plaque! Great product and easier than using a manual toothbrush.

Stopped working properly after 5 months.
Have only been using for 5 months, and the vibration doesn't work properly anymore. It will stop vibrating if I apply even a little bit of pressure. Unusable.

Great Product
The vibration is intense on the teeth. I’ve been using it about 45 days and my teeth are noticeably cleaner in the cracks and crevices particularly. The handle is a bit fat/wide and the bristle tip is narrower than a standard toothbrush but it’s not a factor due to the intense vibration at the tip.
I got this as a gift and it’s exceeded my expectations.

Great All Around
I purchased this toothbrush primarily on the noice level compared to other brands , but also because it comes with the pressure sensor alert and the quad mouth sensor . I didn’t want to break the bank on an electric toothbrush and this one offered the 3 things I was looking for at the best price compared to the others .

Excellent toothbrush
This is the best electric toothbrush I've used and I've had several. The ease of use is great and my teeth feel clean and doesn't feel like I've ripped my gums apart! I will say that the vibration takes alittle getting used to but it does the speed gradual which is great! I'm so very happy I bought this toothbrush!

Great tooth brush, esthetically pleasing, works amazing
I purchased this toothbrush in hopes of getting a cleaner feel.
The vibration is so strong and gets the plaque in the hard to reach spots.
I love the colour and style of the brush itself.
The battery lasts about a week for use twice a day.
Overall very satisfied with this purchase!

Working like my old Sonicare
I received this new toothbrush as a birthday present. My old Sonicare had lasted me with years of trouble free use! So far it’s been great but I miss my polishing feature I had on my Sonicare. This brush leaves your teeth feeling like you just went to the hygienist!
