Easy, Simple, Does the job, Trusted Quality
During lock down I struggled with hair cut equipments in the market. I have been using Philips as a kid and always had this trust of quality and performance for years.
What I liked about the product was its no nonsense simple, easy to follow and deliver what is required. It has no additional 15 accessories you need while cutting hair at home.
My first few hair cuts has been awesome and my kids can not identify if I did by myself or went to the saloon. Since its water resistant, I can clean it thoroughly before storing.
Great purchase and super happy.

An exceptional hair clipper
An exceptional hair clipper. I bought it about a month and a half ago (August-September 2020). I am extremely pleased with her.
I can mention in particular:
- cuts hair very well;
- it is comfortable in operation;
- very easy to switch to different settings for hair length;
- easy to clean and can even be washed under running water;
- works both plugged in and wirelessly from the battery.
I cut both my hair and my beard very well.
Definitely the best hair clipper I've ever had.

Easy to use
This is my second Phillips grooming product. Impressed with their longevity and customer care. This is the First time my wife cut my hair, she had an easy time blending my hair and keeping my clean during the pandemic

Best. Trimmer. Ever.
I’ve been clipping my own hair and beard for 20 years, so I’ve been through a ton of trimmers. This one is a game changer. Not only does it cut my hair clipping time in half, it does a much more thorough job. And in the past I’ve always had to “dig in” so hard that it would drive little hairs into my scalp and cause sores. But this clipper has a feather touch. You barely have to press at all for it to give a clean cut.
And the adjustable guards are the best ever. You can use one guard for a wide range of lengths with the turn of a dial. It’s just the best I’ve ever used in my life by a very wide margin. I will NEVER use another clipper/trimmer for the rest of my life. They’ve made a forever customer out of me for sure! Amazing product, Philips!!

OK - Good Product
I have been using Philips hair clippers for the last 15 years. Went through about 5 in all these years and remarkably they all had the same issue, that was the plastic spindle component ( which I think takes the most wear and tear). Luckily, Philips always honors their warranty and 3 of the 5 clippers were replaced. I threw out the other 2 worn out clippers. I would say use with care and do not expose to water. Do not also attempt to clean the internals of the clipper even if hair is stuck as this might damage the spindle.

First time cutting my own hair...
Bought this a few days prior to this review and the delay was due to my hesitancy about cutting my own hair. Tired of spending almost $25 per haircut when I can achieve the same results as in the barber shop with this light weight trimmer! I should have bought this years ago! Take your time at first and go slow at the longest setting to get the hang of it and don't forget your mirrors! Took about a half hour because I had a LOT of hair to cut off but once started it was easy to maintain the lengths I wanted on the back, side and top.
One issue I noticed is the head did clog up a little with the longer hairs at the beginning of my haircutting session but once cleaned, the trimmer remained clear the rest of the hair cut. Very happy and by the next haircut I do, the trimmer will have paid for itself.

Truly excellent product
Recently bought this trimmer to replace my 15 yr old corded trimmer. I took the plunge to go cordless and WOW is all I can say.
This thing is great! Quiet and very powerful. What used to take 40 mins to cut my hair, and I sadly don't have that much left, now takes me 15mins!!
Cordless is a game changer and I'll never go back.
Truly a great product, and hopefully will exhibit Phillips durability.
I will add this to my Phillips shaver and be a well groomed man.

Superior Mens Grooming Product
I recently purchased a Philips Series 5000 clipper after my Braun clipper stopped working in the first year. The Series 5000 is a superior product that quickly grooms my beard with precision and shaves my head with ease. After each use, I can quickly clean my clipper under hot running water. Another great feature is how long this clipper holds a charge!! I highly recommend this product for your next Mens grooming clipper.
