Ingredients
Salicylic Acid 2% Masque is formulated to help target lackluster tone and textural irregularities. The formula, infused with charcoal and clays, aims to enhance the appearance of smoothness and clarity, leaving the skin feeling refreshed. The structure of salicylic acid facilitates its lipophilicity and miscibility with the lipids located on the surface of the skin. It is a suitable ingredient for targeting the sloughing of dead skin cells on the surface of oily and blemish-prone skin, with the purpose of revealing more radiant skin beneath. Charcoal and clays are ingredients renowned for their cleansing abilities due to their porosity and large surface area available for absorption. In comparison to Salicylic Acid 2% Solution, Salicylic Acid 2% Masque is a rinse-off formula. Leave on for no longer than 10 minutes in order to maximize the exfoliating benefits.
Directions: Use once or twice a week on thoroughly clean, dry skin. Do not use on wet skin. Apply evenly across face using fingertips, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Contradictions: This formula contains Direct Acids. For best results, please avoid using the following ingredients in the same regimen:
- Copper Peptides
- Peptides
- Other direct acids
- EUK 134
- 100% Niacinamide Powder
Caution: Avoid the eye contour and contact with eyes both
during application and rinse off. Patch testing prior to use is advised:
Apply the product as directed to a small area once a day for three days
to test if you are sensitive to this product. If you develop severe
irritation, hives, swelling of eyes and mouth, blistering, or difficulty
breathing, rinse off, cease use and consult a physician right away.
Keep out of reach of children.

WOW - works fantastically well on my combination skin
This mask leaves my skin looking really radiant and helps to clear up my acne and old ance scars really well, without drying the heck out of my skin. I actually use it as a spot treatment on pimples and they clear within a day or two (although this is drying and often makes a bit of skin peeling over where the pimple heals). Miraculous! Just don't use more than twice a week or it'll be too drying.

I love it
Ive been really happy with this product. Ive used it about 5 times and I like the effect during, it does sting a bit...although sting isnt the word as it doesnt hurt at all it just feels like it has an effect. I havent broken out since i started using and all my pimples have cleared up. Would 100% recommend. I love the ordinary's products!!

Great SA Mask
The Ordinary is a great brand and this mask is no exception. This is a perfect mask for oily or acne prone skin. I use this twice a week at night to keep my oily skin clear of blemishes and it has made a difference in how my skin feels and looks.
It has no added scent, doesn’t make me breakout, and is affordable.

Good for sensitive skin
I have oily and acne prone skin even though I am in my twenties. This mask is a bit strong and can make my face red after using it. However, this does down rather quickly. Since my skin is so sensitive to products with fragrance and harsh ingredients I thought I would give it a go. I will definitely be repurchasing.

Great product!
I find that my skin responds well to salicylic acid and charcoal so it was great to see a product that has both ingredients. I was just sad to see that some of the other products I wanted to order from this line were out of stock right now. I really like this company’s products.

Smooth Skin, No More Random Break Outs
I use this product once a week and I have found that it reduces the appearance of blackheads as well as stops random break outs. I usually have monthly breakouts around my jawline and since I've started using this product it has been minimized to basically gone.
