BENADRYL® Caplets provide fast, effective relief from allergies. Each
caplet contains 25 milligrams of diphenhydramine hydrochloride, an
antihistamine, to treat sneezing, runny nose, itchy and watery eyes,
skin itch, and hives.
Recommended Dosage:
Caution: *Seek medical attention if you are experiencing a
life-threatening anaphylactic reaction, as BENADRYL® is not indicated
for such use.
Do not use:
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or get medical help right away.
Do not use:
- with any other product containing diphenhydramine, even one used on skin
- more than the recommended dosage or use for prolonged periods of time except on the advice of a doctor
- if you are allergic to diphenhydramine or to any other ingredients in this product
- have glaucoma
- have breathing problem such as emphysema, chronic bronchitis, or chronic asthma
- have difficulty with urination due to an enlargement of the prostate gland
- have a cough that is accompanied by excessive secretions
- are taking other antihistamines, sedatives or tranquilizers
- are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- marked drowsiness may occur
- excitability may occur, especially in children
- alcohol, sedatives and tranquilizers may increase drowsiness
- do not drive, operate machinery or engage in activities requiring mental alertness
- avoid alcoholic drinks.

Great Product for allergies
Clears everything right up right away. I've used it for being stuffy as well as for itchiness (when bitten by too many mosquitos). I like that it makes me drowsy so i can fall asleep and not worry about how I feel.

Works every time!
I have used this product may times since I developed allergies at the age of 21. I typically suffer from congestion, runny nose and sinus headache and I have never been dissappointed with Benadryls effectiveness.

Love this Product
Been using it for 5yrs now I get itchy every summer from the sun and i take a pill at night makes me sleepy once its in my system for a couple of days takes the itch away completely
I recommend for skin alergys .

Great Effective Product
I'm a severe allergy sufferer, and Bendryl always does the trick. It's best to take this before bed, as it does make you super super drowsy. It's also great for allergic reactions to bug and insect bites as well.

Good allergy pill
Effective allergy relief, but it does make me drowsy. It's great during hay fever season when I have trouble sleeping because I take it before bed and my allergies don't wake me up at all through the night.

I've tried many other allergy products over the years but none of them have ever worked for me. Benadryl is the only one that ever has! It works fast and does not make me drowsy! I won't buy anything else!

Benadryl works quickly to get rid of allergy symptoms. It works within 15 minutes and works fast so you can get back to your regular self. The only real drawback is it does make some people really drowsy.

Always with me

Works great
I always carry Benedryl with me where ever I go. I sometimes get hives after eating certain shellfish and Benedryl works great! Within 20 mins the hives subside and itching is under control.

Works when I'm around cats
Whenever I visit my sister's house, I find that if I take a Benadryl capsule two hours before I leave I can enjoy my visit a lot more. It works wonderfully when there are cats in the house.

Great for bug bites
I am someone who struggles with bug bites. I get plenty and they are awful. My reaction to them is very painful. I often take Benadryl and it takes the swelling down and help with the itch.
