I have always been a fan of L’Oréal products but I have never actually tried any of their cleansers, and I have to say this cleansing gel knocked it out of the park! I am in love! After using this product for nearly a month, the change I see in my skin is incredible! As somebody with enlarged pores I am constantly struggling with keeping them clean and feeling fresh. This stuff is an absolute miracle worker, my face feels so amazing. Not only has it really worked into my pores and cleared them out, my face and neck feel so fresh, smooth and it has lifted the dullness away completely, my face looks very vibrant and has a glow to it. I find it to be so refreshing to wash with after a day in the heat, working outdoors or after spending the afternoon in the garden. The menthol leaves my skin feeling cool and refreshed, the aloe also has a calming effect. I can’t recommend this stuff enough and with the added benefit of it being fragrance free, I feel this is a product that everyone could use!

I tried this cleanser as a way to introduce glycolic acid to my skincare routine. While I found it hard to lather up as per the instructions, I did like the feel of my face afterwards and did notice some improvements after a few uses (I used in the morning). #freeproduct

According to the packaging, this cleanser resurfaces for smoother, brighter skin. Glycolic acid is listed as the seventh ingredient and salicylic acid is listed as the twelfth ingredient. The first thing I noticed was that the gel consistency is thick and the instructions are to lather a small amount into wet hands and gently massage into skin, otherwise, it’s like putting a gel-mask on the face. Even though the cleanser is fragrance-free, there is a chemical scent that I could not get used to and it was quite off-putting. I did like the cooling sensation on my face, from the menthol. After consistent use, morning and night, I saw a slight improvement in my uneven skin texture and no improvement in brightness.
