Worth the splurge to re-live a childhood classic
These are the first “pop tarts” I’ve had since childhood and becoming celiac, and oh boy they did not disappoint! I bought these and the strawberry flavours and both hold up to that classic pop tart taste. To the best of my knowledge I’d say you could tell these are made with better quality ingredients than a regular pop tart. I heated these up in a toaster overnight and they smell and taste like a cinnamon bun pop tart(I would not be able to say if they would hold up structurally in a toaster). They held up quite well and softened up and less crumble than eaten cold.
I only give 4 stars because they are single packets, and they are quite small for the price. Even for my small hands. Would definitely buy again if they’re on sale as a splurge treat.
