Benylin Dry Cough Syrup has the strength to silence your dry hacking cough. Its syrup formula helps coat and soothe your throat.
Directions: Adults Use Only (12 years and over). Shake well before using. 2 tsp. (10 mL) every 6-8 hours. Maximum 8 tsp. (40 mL)/day. Not recommended for children under 12 years.
Warning: Talk to a doctor before using this product if you have asthma, chronic lung disease/shortness of breath, persistent/chronic cough, or are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking a drug for depression, including monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor drugs. Check with a doctor if cough worsens, lasts more than 7 days, or tends to recur or if you also have excessive secretions or fever. Do not take more than the recommended dosage.

Helped my cough a lot
I was just getting over a cold but my cough was still there. This product really helped stop that annoying cough! It soothed my throat and got rid of that tickle that was causing the cough

Great syrup for dry cough
This is really an excellent one for dry cough. I had dry cough for about 4 days which worsens during night and I couldn't sleep for these days. I tried one syrup which did not reduce the cough at all. But Benylin extra strength dry cough syrup really worked for me. I noticed the difference in symptoms after I had it. Highly recommend to those who have dry cough.

Best dry cough syrup ever
It’s been a week that I have been trying different types of benylin until I found this precious one which is very very helpful for my dry cough! I had to wake up middle of the night bz of itchy throat and dry cough but not any more. Thanks to “Dry Cough Syrup”. I would highly recommend this syrup. It’s so effective and I am very happy now…once again Thanks to this Benylin

Didn't work for me
I was so excited to see this product as all of the symptoms it says it fixes are what I have. My throat has been sore for 3 days and I have a dry, hacking cough (tested covid negative).
I took the two teaspoons full and my cough abated for about 20 minutes. Now, 3 hours later, I'm hacking my head off and I can't take anything else for another 3 hours. A complete waste of money in my case.đđ

Easily the most effective we've tried for dry cough
Although I don't remember if any were specifically for dry cough, we had tried various cough medications before we found Benylin. None of the others were completely satisfactory, so we were very pleased to find one that stopped us from having to try even more.

Okay so it tastes awful but works
I’m not a fan of cough syrups and this was my last resort, however coughing till I woofed my dinner is not fun. My husband just showed up with this and it has indeed silenced this irritated dry hacking cough. Maybe I can sleep - so far so good.

Best way to stop night coughing
No medicine has the best of tastes but this one isn't too bad. More importantly it gets you a good night's sleep by getting rid of the dry cough in about 30 min from taking the dose.

Cuts Down on Dry Cough
I don't use this product myself but bought it for my elderly mother who constantly had a dry hacking cough. It has worked very effectively for her to help cut down on her dry cough.

Only good for coating throat for 15 min
I’m currently using this product for dry cough. It only works for less than 15 minutes by coating my throat. After 15 min my cough starts again. This product didn’t work for me

I wish it had a childproof cap
This product should have a child safety cap on it.... as a mother of 3 children under the age of 5, it is very dangerous for medicine to not have a safety cap... children get into things.. not that mine did, but it makes me nervous that they can.... putting it out of reach really isn't good enough when your child will move furniture to reach things...

Did not work for me. After having two table spoon of syrup my cough didn't stop. Syrup has no effect to stop the cough. Waste of money.
