Founded in Toronto, Ontario, Bite is the brainchild of Jaime Hackett and Erin Prohaska, two avid outdoor enthusiasts and travellers. Their mission was simple: to create a natural, effective solution to keep pesky bugs at bay. Too often, they found themselves reluctant to use traditional bug sprays for various reasons - they were greasy, had a strong odor, or irritated skin. Compounding these frustrations, Bite discovered that the market was saturated with products filled with chemicals and synthetic materials, driving us to search for a better alternative. That led to Bite. Their goal was to develop a product that is not only clean and non-toxic but also highly effective and desirable. They believe in a product that looks as beautiful as it feels on the skin
