Ethical Bean Coffee is deeply rooted in place and purpose and was established in 1999 by founders Lloyd Bernhardt and Kim Schachte. Both Lloyd and Kim watched and learned about Guatemala's culture and the coffee farmers while awating the adoption of their daughter. They believed that there was a better and more equitable way to honour the coffee growers by fair trade and that's when Ethical Bean Coffee came to life!
